You were lucky enough to see a big leopard in the Yala national park but unfortunately I wasn't able to see it as many jeep drivers flocking to see an animal and eventually chased them in their hidden inside jungle . Your time of going in the dawn of day was a suitable one.

It’s beautiful! But I would really want to see the life of expats there as well as locals. How they do business? What are the challenges? So many people started coming to Sri Lanka and kind of do the same content… not that it’s bad. It’s great! More tourists will come. But what if someone tried to show real life of Sri Lanka? With its pluses and minuses. For example it’s a beautiful country but it’s a hell to drive here, mainly cuz of the buses. We call them death machines. How people are still burning their garbage just on the side of the road. Including plastic… So many foreigners come here, fall in love, decide to stay, open business and then reality comes… which is not always what foreigners expect to get… so many broken dreams… so many challenges… but also so many successful stories… I wish someone did smth like that. True stories of Sri Lanka…

One of the best things about traveling is experiencing other countries cultures and shopping & eating authentic local cuisine. Sri lanka is super safe. Many solo female travelers visit there. But there are some tuk tuk scammers in the capital city colombo where they always chase tourists and offer city tours.
This really got me excited about going to Sri Lanka, but unfortunately I read online about increased risk of terrorism and violence due to 2024 elections and the country being in bankruptcy...
No brother , it's totally safe here.. even for female travellers.

Most of the people can understand English..Main languages are Sinhala, English and Tamil.
I wanted to show my son Sri Lanka and instead we had to watch 90% of this guy ´s face. He obviously loves himself and thats ok but not for a video where you expect to see some country. 😅 Like the leopard, few flashes of the leopard cutted by this guy ´s surprised faces, so we do remember the guy ´s face but nothing else. 😅🎉🎉
