I became a widow a year ago. I'm down to my last jar of peanut butter and I humbly just asked the Lord to please help me to have enough to keep the roof over my head and just have something to eat and to feed my animals. My dog and my cat have been my friends for the last year. It was my husband's birthday and I followed him into the kitchen and found him on his knees. I laid him on the floor and I said I love you. He mouthed, I love... And, he died with my hands on his chest. I have been talking to the Lord day & night for the last year. I was in shock for months and I don't drive so, I ate bread and butter. Nobody came to help or comfort me. But, I know Jesus never left me and I know the Holy Spirit was right here all along. God is good. I thanked him for letting me have my best friend for 23 years. It is so lonely that my heart aches. There's no one's hand to hold and no one to hug me. The Holy Spirit brings me moments of joy and I end up singing out loud to God because I am grateful for everything that I have. There are not two here to pray so that the Lord will come into our presence like when my husband was alive. Please, someone ask God to help me. I'm down to my last jar of peanut butter which is what I eat for two meals a day. May God bless all those who are lonely and all those who are in need.
