- Nick Santonastasso personifies the concept of inspiration. Nick was born with a very rare condition called Hanhart Syndrome, only 3 out of 12 others Born with this condition are alive . Although he survived, Nick was born legless and with only a portion of one of his arms.
Nick has not allowed any of those challenges to stop him from achieving his biggest dreams. He doesn't use prosthetics to get around-he is pictured usually standing upright on what is left of his legs, rarely without a massive grin.
Santonastasso gained fame as a teenager with his prank videos-notably, one where he dressed up as a zombie and scared Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus. Today, he spends most of his time in the gym and doing motivational speaking.
I am rarely speechless in any interview and don’t lose my composure or control of my emotions. However , there is a moment in this interview of such incredible emotion inspiration that I couldn’t quite pull it together. I know you will feel the same.

This is the first time seeing Nick Santonastasso. I've seen inspiring disabled people, but this is NEXT LEVEL. *Competing* against able bodies in *wrestling* with *1* arm.
My goal is to master people skills as an autistic person, and train scores of socially awkward people to get what they want in life instead of avoiding it and escaping into fantasy. I am _CERTAIN_ that will happen. No doubt. Just belief.
His energy is infectious! Who would not want to be around him? His positivity can't help but rub off on you. :) So amazing.

Nick... you changed my life with this. You are literally the personification of not simply overcoming hardship (a lot of people can do that), but creating an EPIC and FULFILLING life from all the hardship you’ve had to face! You are the purest example of an Alpha male who takes life’s struggles by the throat and gracefully (and gratefully!!) turns them into more success than most people have and will ever have in their entire lives. I was moved to tears so many times during this.. your inspiring personality, your accomplishments, and most of all your mindset is something that just can’t be complimented enough in words. Ed, I love how no matter who your guest is, the conversation is always about that human drive. I love that. Wow!! So this guy right here REALLY motivated me and Ed bro your content always catches me in the exact time I need it. So funny how things work, its 3 pm and I am working on our new project/ dream just sweaty, dirty, physically alone, and about to call it quits for the day because I am just feeling un enthusiastic and just plain low energy. Then remembered I had seen an update icon about this interview in the AM and so I pull out my phone, plug in my earphones and hit that play. Man my soul received a jolt of new life and inspiration, like BOOM! I worked till six pm not a care in the world, no wining or God its hot, nothing. Nick you uplift people in ways you may not even imagine brother and honestly this is my 3rd time watching this interview and yes at this moment I am back working at the same spot but with a smile man. Awesome interview. My mother was born with polio and with this disease was unable to physically enjoy even the simple things we take for granted every day. That being said she is still the strongest willed person I have ever met. Always put others first and had a faith in God and humanity unmatched by most.
