The Fell’s Point that I knew is gone forever and with it all of the industry, grit, characters and dirty realism that made it such a cool, beat place to grow up. I can never evict Fell’s from my heart, my blood.
man i love this video one of the best and one of the main reasons I've started to fly. was in baltimore today and loved it. just wanna say thank you for all the good work you have started my new hobby and i love it.
Nice amount of snow dropped on Baltimore during Jonas. Would have rather had the snow than the ice in southern NC. Great to see you're having a great time with the drone. Looking forward to more vids. (Now you need to figure out how to link Periscope to the drone feed.) ~majilique
I saw you commented on my Denver video, but don't see it there anymore. Figured I'd hop over to your channel to respond. :-) You've got some pretty awesome stuff! I love the long shots and consistent movement. We spent this winter in California (all part of our around-the-country roadtrip to make Blank by Drone videos), but I wish I could have been in Maryland for some of the snow. This video really shows it well.
+BlueMantleMedia Ah, thanks. I read into something and deleted, nevermind. Your work is fantastic. I'm a huge fan. I look forward to having footage switching every music measure or two as well. I'm stoked for summer; reveals, rising spins, etc. :) Congrats on the Port Covington video btw. :)
+fromBaltimore thanks for the heads up. It's possible it was licensed legitimately...sometimes I have producers license things and I don't know what it'll be used for. But I hadn't seen this, so in definitely going to look into it.
Hi, I am interested in potentially using some of this footage for a project. Is there any chance you might allow use? Please let me know if you'd be interested and would like to discuss details. Thanks!
Thank you. I purchased a license for it: Liza Anne - The Colder Months. It appears it isn't available on the site I licensed it from anymore but her channel is here: th-cam.com/video/P1vAywm7Mcg/w-d-xo.html
damn i love fell's, damn i love baltimore, damn i love little italy, damn i love the inner harbor, damn i love the science center, damn i love the aquarium, damn i love to see domino's sugar while driving down there my entire life, damn my list is pretty much endless on this topic... but, damn do i really fucking hate drones!!! also, this music seriously sucks and required muting within the first second of viewing. other than that, ...damn i miss when the factory was a super fun, trippy, weird attraction for my sister and i when we were little that our grandmom used to always take us to!! too bad it had to become a stupid sellout hardrock cafe! damn i miss the real poe toaster! especially since the following one after the original probably died did not keep up the tradition with respect to the original who was possibly their father, with respect to poe, with respect to baltimore, with respect to anyone!! not even any respect to the ravens since the asshole left a note/poem stating the ravens would be "pounced" in the upcoming superbowl, what an asshole!!! well, guess what, idiot fake poe toaster?? you were obviously wrong in your prediction since they totally won, and i hope you lost a fuck-ton of money on your dumbass prediction/bet!!! maybe i should become the next poe toaster!
Haha! That was entertaining, thanks for commenting. I'd like to find video of the Power Plant when it was that way. I barely remember a puppet show in a corner by where the food was and I remember the movie theater that squirted the scents. The rest is a big blur. If someone reminded me, I would probably remember.
hahaa!! yeah, those scents in the theatre were totally cool, weren't they?! we loved those!! do you remember the crazy mirrors? or that weird talking head thing? or what was supposed to be the fountain of youth they used to have there?
+bluebell2hell I was wrong, I don't remember. I just asked in an old photo group what it was called. It was PT Flags and I googled PT Flaggs Baltimore. There are a lot of photos I'm about to look through.
that still sounds fun, though! :) i super hope that you manage to find even just 1 pic of the old super awesome power plant because i'd so love to see some, myself. maybe i should google it, myself. do you remember that place called the enchanted forest? i'm kinda blurry on exactly where it is located, though. i don't think it is in baltimore, though. it might actually be in PA maybe really close to the state line. but, my grandmom always took us there too. it closed down many years ago but the buildings are still there but they are all overgrown which gives it a weird, like real life fairy tale look to it like a real life sleeping beauty situation going on. i think it looks cool, but i'm weird!! i saw some pics of that place a few years ago. it had all these little buildings for little kids to go in and play like a big shoe from that old rhyme or whatever about the old woman who lived in a shoe and other stories, fairy tales and rhymes. it was super cool and we loved that place!! even if it is not baltimore i brought it up because we are thinking way back to being little kids :) and maybe you and/or your group went there, too. i have never been able to talk to anybody except my sister about the old power plant being so weirdly awesome because nobody remembers it, not even my mom, she was never there with us because she was working and my grandmom died years ago so i'm kind of shocked that someone else remembers it! i loved thatt place so much!! i loved it the best out of the science center or the aquarium which were the 3 main places my grandmom took us besides little italy.
+bluebell2hell yes, thats on route 40. we looked over the fence years ago and saw some old structures. I plan to fly my drone over there but since you hate drone videos, tou wont watch it. ;) They took some of the structures to a petting zoo and farm a few years ago. maybe grab some kids and check it out this summer. It's not much might spark some good memories. theenchantedforest.ellicottcity.net/

I love this because I love Fells Point. My roots go deep in Fells Point. I grew up hanging out there and have wonderful memories

just wanna say thank you for all the good work you have started my new hobby and i love it.
I was there at that time. Great experience. Beautiful video; it gave a different view from the storm. Thanks a lot.
Thanks Paulina!

amazing work been here all my life and this gave me chills perfect song.
James Pilkerton Thanks. I'll be boating a lot with the drone & your sailboat is easy to remember. Maybe I'll spot the red mast this summer.
James Pilkerton Oh, maybe that's not yours. Man, hawks may take you down be careful! ;)
Nope not Mine lol I just chase them from time to time.
can't wait for more. very stable shots too, great job
+Rebecca Emmons Thanks for the kind words.
Bad ass video man... I'm from just north of the City and it was really cool to see how it looked after the storm... Great work... ^_^
+Xanovia Scents Thanks. I would have been out earlier but the wind wouldn't allow it. I'm addicted to this and look forward to spring!
Beautiful video! Added to our "Baltimore by drone | DroneCitiz" youtube playlist. Subscribed to keep updated with your work.
Cool. Thanks!

+fromBaltimore sounds good.
I'm not sure what you mean about Port Covington. Are you mixing me up with someone else?
+BlueMantleMedia Ouch. I guess they didn't ask you. Look at their website and here: th-cam.com/video/YudhwrwZUU4/w-d-xo.html
