    As an MTBer (mountain biker), and someone who's built a coupke pretty small trails, and features, I know the work that goes into dirt jumps and trails/tracks (in this case), and it KILLS me to see the RC track that dry, to the point where it's all cracked and hardened by the sun.

      Probably the pit molasses in the track for high grip. Or low watering.

    Wow, you just weared down those long wear tires in ~8 minutes and 40 seconds as much as I weared down the stock micro pin tires on my Wltoys 144001 1/14 buggy in 9 months! Granted, I drive a LOT more conservatively and more slowly and I run in a lot better conditions, but still, wow!

    Sir can I ask why those big brands such as arrma or traxxas don’t include lipo?

    • @AMain_Hobbies
      @AMain_Hobbies  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because LiPo's included with cars inquire a fee when shipped, and a vehicle is shipped many times; from the manufacturer to the distributor; from the distributor to the hobby shop; from the hobby shop to the customer. That is three times the shipment is charged an extra fee because of the LiPo battery. Another thing is most r/c people have their own batteries and don't want to pay extra for a car because it includes a battery they do not want. Hope that explains it.

    But how long does a normal tyres last? Is it enough to last a whole race without replacing a set? Those good brand tyres are expensive here

    • @jackdurden466
      @jackdurden466 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Long wear aren’t nearly as sticky, and last longer due to the compound being harder. Short life will give you far better sticky and grip, yet last much shorter. I learned this on real cars the hard way. Hence why I’d drive on soft tread on my performance cars, BMWs, and an older Porsche I had way back.

      This video was about comparing standard compounds vs. long wear compounds. Comparing all the different brands would be cool but that can be pretty time consuming, expensive and would only apply to that track and those conditions. So, really, not that practical.

      @bluecrabnitroracing4499 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I didn't say buy every single tire and compare them I was just talking about the long wears from each brand which wouldn't be that long of a list if you thought about it and it wouldnt make 4 hours of video or cost $2 million as you're referring so it was just an idea and throwing it out there!!
