Sir can we use 3k ohm resistor
Charging:
1. Initially, the capacitor is uncharged, and the voltage across its terminals is zero.
2. Nhen a voltage source (such as a battery) is connected to the capacitor, current starts
to flow, and the capacitor begins to charge.
3. As the capacitor charges, the voltage across its terminals gradually increases, while
the current decreases.
4.The harging process continues until the capacitor is fully charged, meaning the
voltage across its terminals is equal to the voltage of the source.
Discharging:
1. Dnce the capacitor is fully charged, if it is disconnected from the voltage source anc
connected to a circuit, the discharge process begins
. Initially, the capacitor holds the stored energy, and the voltage across its terminals is
equal to the source voltage.
. As the discharge progresses, the voltage across the capacitor gradually decreases
while the current flowing through the circuit decreases as well.
De- The discharge process continues until the voltage across the capacitor reaches zero
indicating that the stored energy has been completely released.

sir i did exactly what you did but both leds are working at the same time, i redid the connections many times but it keeps glowing together
Switch should alternate on and off ,
1. both switch off
2. On the charging circuit switch
3. After 10-20 seconds turn off the switch
4.switch on the discharging circuit
5. Led will glow and dim slowly.

I got it from online, you can check in electrical shop (switch and LED and wire)
Electronic shop (tv repairing material shop) for capacitor and resistor.

Normally led lights are 3-5v , so it will fuse if you use 9v battery, you required 500uf to 1000uf 25v capacitor for better output.

@@akankshadu you can joint all components without soldaring also. You need to joint properly.(don’t do the loose connection)
sir my project was working a few moments ago but suddenly it stopped working the light which shows that capacitor is charging stopped glowing and then another light which shows that current is already stored in capacitor also stopped glowing just a few sec ago this happened i checked the battery is fully charged idk why this happened i checked all connections are joint
