In London and Birmingham. When it's busy I make £10 - £15/hr on a single speed. But it never is! Deliveroo is definitely way busier, while Uber pay better per mile. The problem is when every order takes you in one direction, and in Birmingham, it's not busy everywhere, so I had almost an hour to travel back making £0/hr. So I made £19 in 3 hours because the system sent me one way (I was an hour and a half cycle from home lol). Now, I only go out of the area once, then log out and come back to the city center. The system should do that for me. In London in the summer, I stood still for 30 mins, without an order. I've bought a Swytch kit personally because I already love my track single speed and maintain it myself, so upgrading it to electric for £600 seems ok (it would help me travel to other jobs as well) if I bought it just for delivery work, I'd probably regret it. But definitely going to enjoy speeding up the hills.
Inspired me thankyou Atlanta. Bought my ( second hand) Escuta and have my uber eats account set up. Youve inspired me thankyou v much. Just thinking extra top up financially. We see how goes. Nice to see a lady using one i dont feel so silly. Well done. Doing a great job! 👍 iv shared youre videos to family and freinds also inspiring them. ❤️
I had eskuta slightly bigger got bored after a month , bought egolf the fuel savings is double the amount I have to pay, such a good car you should really consider or hire one the new id3 makes them cheap and they depreciate the least out of all cars on uk market. Put your beelivery code on business card and post in doors you deliver too.
Glad you're still having a good time on the e-bike! Do you think you'll end up getting one permanently once the trial is over? Also, while I know you aren't paying for fuel and insurance, do you think the lower pay will still cover the cost of the e-bike and still be worth it?
Hi Atlanta 👋 I'm doing deliveries myself and want to start filming my journey as well 🙂 Do you mind sharing what filming equipment you've used while delivering in the car? Thanks!
Doesn’t for me. As it tries to get me to go down steps on my bike. And doesn’t know when roads are closed. Have a look at my recent video. You are quite correct in assuming that you have to ride on the roads unless they are shared paths.
I'm a cyclist who puts on car maps to avoid the annoying routes by the river and stairs taking me over bridges haha. Road is faster. But sometimes cycle maps finds better shortcuts (or just look at the map and walk down one way roads etc).
@@AtlantaDelivers Uber Eats, Doordash, Deliveroo & Menulog are probably the biggest. There are also a few new ones launching in the grocery space. Any new industry developments on the horizon in the UK? We seem to be a bit behind down here! 😄
@@AtlantaDelivers i guess its fine over there because its not as busy here in nyc its a bit of a hazard because you don't have the power to merge into traffic if the bike lane is blocked. I have a ninebot max that does 20 on a full charge and it still feels a bit slow.

Aw that’s great🙂 that’s a good idea but not sure if it’s allowed haha!
Love the videos, love the large wing mirrors and thinking about getting that size for my ebike
Might be a good idea to got the delivery box on the back for those heavier orders.
If Atlanta delivers everything stays hot
😁

Most likely yes and my partner Ben has brought an E-Bike now too! I do think it will cover the costs and be worth it for sure! ☺️
