Many of the original shows have stayed with me over the years. One of my favorites was at a breakfast counter they had a vacuum pump piped to a small hole drilled through the counter top. The waitress would bring a saucer with a small hole. And a cup, both with an O ring embedded in the bottoms. She would pour the coffee then they would pull a vacuum. She was in on it and would walk away. The man would call her over to complain the cup was stuck. They would release the vacuum and she could manipulate the china, re-wipe the counter and put it right back over the hole. Shaking her head in wonder. Playing him like a violin. Great gag. Many ones that were so simple. Just like this table skit. Many, many years ago. Ideas they could have repealed. Many times.
Candid camera is a true classic to this day in my opinion, the show was low key, and provided the most bizarre situations, in every day life, unlike today's shows are loud yelling, alot of hype, Miss the candid camera series ❤ Bob.
hey, I used to use a pen drive in my car where I saved 33 Candid Camera episodes converted in to mp4. Later I lost that - but found it last week! Guess what - I got 'Crazy Key Chain' there. 😊
When the table is at the correct height at the beginning of the meal and your chin is tapping on the table when you chew before the end of the meal, it's time to start looking for the infamous hidden camera. 😂
Aaahh!.....I miss this show! The origional aired probably in the 60's-70's. This one i'm guessing is from 80's-90's. I can't stand the jokes/pranks people do now! I endured physical pain for others amusement. This is the BEST! Now I have to binge watch every single episode of Candid Camera from earliest-latest. Thanks so much!📺😃🤣
I saw one where an elevator was rigged to move horizontally instead of vertically. People would get on and it would just move down to the other side of the hall and open. When the door opened people were so confused. Lol
A nice touch would be to have the two chairs at slightly different heights themselves. That way the customers might blame the problem on one of the chairs being too low.
Interesting in that you would think everyone would soon call the waiter and say, "why is this table rising?", but the mind will not immediately believe it's possible.
I want an adjustable table when eating soup. Then, it less distance from the bowl to your mouth. Actually, I do this now by placing a coffee mug under my soup bowl to raise it up. Still, an adjustable table would be fun.

Me and this guy I worked with at a bike shop would always pretend to look for Allen Funt when some stupid $hit was happening in the shop.. I would say "I'm waiting for Allen Funt to walk in here".. 😋
Not sure about your math. The Branson gag was shot 22 years ago, so a 25-year-old viewer would today be 47. And many of our sequences from TV Land were shot 9 years ago, so a 30-year-old viewer would today be 39. Regardless, we're working on a new Candid Camera series for 2024, that will be great for all ages. -Peter
