Garoupa Fish a bit expensive. Ipoh, Wholesale Fish Market (Near Falim main road 5 mins on the way to Menglembu Market) Goliath Garoupa (Medium to various sizes) at RM$38 range to RM$50-$80 up per kg (Bigger or Large Size). Whole Fish at small to mid range size around 2kg-5kg-8 kg up. Also many other fishes like golden promfret....fishes of the day sales. Clean Service ($2~$3). Menglembu Morning Pasar (6am-9.30am) daily occasional got 1kg Red Garoupa (Dong Xing Barn) at RM$28 whole fish (clean). Clean services (Free). The wholesale market starts very early 2am (if I am not mistaken) to late morning (6am-7am). Of course the earlier the better. Want to eat quality seafood at cheap price? IPOH. My Singaporeans uncle loves to eat fish & seafood in Ipoh. Fresh water fish. Steam wild cat fish or cousin is delicious.

This restaurant is really special.. you can go few times and still not able to try every unique dish on the menu…one of my favorite restaurants.. just that it’s a bit far for me else I will go there more frequent!

@@Annyeong459 KL traffic is really unpredictable… on a good day, maybe 40-50 minutes….. on a bad day, definitely at least 1 hour +
@@UncleLeeAdventures Hi uncle Lee! Have you guys heard of this Yudimama's artisan coconut in Bentong? I saw a video recently on this. There are other hawkers food and drive thru coffee called 'geng chao bing'(nescafe, tea& milo). I remember on one of your trip you went to Bentong. Bentong has a majority of Guangxi Chinese within the Chinese community. I heard the food is authentic. Worth checking out!🤗
@@Annyeong459 no, never heard of Yudimama… however, Bentong has so many things to see and eat.. that 2 days is not even enough. Geng chau peng is like ho ka sai.. can find in many places including Puchong now.. the best ever tasted was in Kuala Kurau! That was super awesome.
Bentong is worth an overnight stay…
Frankly,too expensive this restaurant
