I kicked him out and banned him from seeing them. My daughter was devastated. She didn't want me to kick him out. She just wanted me to tell him off and to not say stuff to her like that. She felt responsible for his death. If she hadn't told me, he'd still be living there and things would be normal, was her thinking.

People in the comments acting like he deliberately lied to his ex-wife and kids with malicious intent give me a headache. Y’all have no compassion. Yes, it is unfair for them but it was also unfair that he was born into such a homophonic environment. He clearly felt a lot of pressure to conform. He might not even have realised he wasn’t straight until years after he got married because he was so repressed. Life is unfair, but at least he’s living life as an open, honest man and his wife is no longer trapped in an inauthentic marriage. I’m sure she must have felt some resentment but she’s now free to be with someone who can truly give her the love she deserves.
