Had a similar problem in general with youtube. For me it was a desync issue when checking comments from mobile or notifications. Also replies do not show notifications either in general. Hope this helps.

You got him totally wrong.
Yes, he makes stars, but that's not his main selling point.
This guy is Cu on steroids after the upgrade, his solo potential is ridiculous and his damage is actually really good. If the enemy is Divine, he's gonna win for sure and even if he's not he's still really strong. The combination of Evasion and massive healing makes him extremely tanky, especially with Atlas Uniform to back him up, and his damage doesn't suffer too much for it. The inability to Buster Brave Chain is hardly a downside considering how much he gains from his deck. And, there's more to this game than just Buster, Buster and Buster. Just lacking a NP Brave chain doesn't make a Servant bad
You really need to try him. At first I also didn't like him that much....but then I used him. And he's SO GOOD. He's probably the Servant that saved me the most in clutch situations other than Bond CE Herc.
His best CEs are ones that give Guts. My favourites are Chaldea Lifesavers for more NP gain, and the currently unreleased in NA Two Gods, Three Legs, that adds the third type of damage boost that he lacks. Black Grail is also an extremely good choice.
I definitely respect your perspective, all are great strengths you mentioned, no doubt he's an amazing Solo servant I've seen Hanoko Green solo with the guy. I also DO use this servant a lot on JP. Which was why I am confident in what I said on my review.
His advantage against divine & ability to tank were both mentioned as his strengths in the video. I have to disagree about the stars not being his main selling point. His star generation is by far the most greatest asset for him, that doesn't mean that's bad, & that doesn't mean it's the only thing he has, nooooo he offers a lot more like his surviveability, but the ability to create 30+ stars with ease is something not to overlook. He can create almost 40 stars with the right CE's.
A agree with the buster statement, however it does affect his synergy, my main complaint was that his 1st skill will not be fully leveraged. I also stated that if it was a guarantee boost in Quick then he will be better, imo it would eliminate my Buster issue. Take Emiya for example, he's amazing post rank ups even without the the ability to NP Buster Brave, because he can reliably boost his main attacks thus fully leveraging his skill.
At the end of the day the great thing about this game is that we all have our own experience & perspective of servants, I really enjoy hearing others opinions.

KeiKollections I don’t think that a not garuanteed quick booster (50%) makes him unworthy of summoning.

I in NA have a level 100 Enkidu.
His damn solo potential is incredible, and even if his damage stat isnt the best, he still does a LOT of damage.
And the fact that he crits so much in solos makes his NP gain actually pretty solid.
I use Chaldea Lifesavers on him too, since i think it makes him gain even more survivability, and NP spam more easily.
He was extremely underrated in this review...

I actually like him alot from a design standpoint. I think he looks really cool despite having such a simple design . And his voice as well! I am going to be rolling on his banner but I’m rolling for Caster Gil. I’m fine with my Lancer Line up so once Gil shows up I’m stopping. If he happens to show up before then cool, I’ll definitely raise him.
The base form Enkidu took is actually copied from a female human though so i always see Enkidu as a clay in girl form.

He's a bit jank, but I'm prioritizing him because a) pretty clay, b) interesting skillset, and c) TANK.
Waiting for his Rank Up Quest is gonna be great because it comes out the same time frame as Fionn's, and awful because I'll have to wait a really long time (unless they decide to nudge it to come out earlier).
For that 10 turn skill, I don't think it's too bad. The only time you really tend to use skills two or more times are in challenge battles, or raid battles. The same goes for the 10k HP heal. Most of the time, you won't hit under 10k to begin with, so it's best to just use the skill when you are afflicted with some severe debuff you must remove, or when you've already taken 5-8k damage.
I promised gilgamesh that I would reunite him with his best friend so I'll def be rolling for best clay boi. The fact that enkidu's genderless just makes me even more interested and I heard he's a great solo-er so I'll be whaling on him.

Astolfo is a boy yet more cute than most of the girl servants. Deon can change his and her gender when he or she wants and enkidu is literally genderless clay that formed as a girl figure yet is quite a tough dude. What's so difficult to figure out

Great review! You pretty much hit their strengths and weaknesses head on. Hopefully their strengthening and interludes will come soon to make Enkidu a far more viable unit in battle, especially in soloing Archer or Divine bosses. That's what they are good at anyway, but also for survivability. ;D.

As someone who has been using this servant for years, I can say with confidence that Enkidu is one of the best in the game. NA players won't realize that until their strengthening quest comes out. Also, the majority of fgo players are male, so they are less inclined to roll for male or male-looking servants. What a sad truth.

I'll only try for his banner after I summon for gorgon (if I have any left). If I don't pull him there I'll try for the lancer gssr banner and hope but if fate still keeps us apart I won't be mad since I have enough decent lancers.
Poor Enkidu :( at least he's cute! There are so many good servants coming up that if you have a limited budge or are f2p, Enkidu is worth passing on, sadly.
Easily the best lancer Ive ever had. Surprisingly good synergy between his np and deck for really good damage and crit potential.

Yes, I will roll for him but I only have few SQs left so I'm planning to spend money on the Garanteed Gacha for Lancers after the New Year. I don't have any AOE lancers (and solo lancers are all 3*...) accept for Jeanne Lily so I'll be happy to get either Karna or Artoria Lancer instead :)

Well, I got him at random during a summon. Almost fell out of my chair with that.
wish his NP would have special damage against servants like gils.
It has, NP overcharge causes paralisis against servants with high divinity status.
As a ST buster he doesnt need bonus damage

I really really want him for my first 5* Lancer but Merlin... Crossing my fingers I get him as my guaranteed SSR as I’m rolling the Lancer one to fill in that not having a lancer hole...

For the new years GSSR Banner i think of rolling the Lancer banner, i want NP2 for my Arthoria Lancer and still have no Karna so i will gladly take him as well ... but i am afraid Enkidu will show up XD

Well, he is permanent after his banner so there is always a chance for spooks however small. Scathach and Bryn are so dominant though, it's hard to dethrone these two at what they do, not with a QQQ deck and Buster NP at least.
If only DW would allow his Enuma Elish to do bonus against servants like Gil's that'd make him a lot more viable.

He's a lot stronger after Osakabehime arrives and gets her NP interlude because of the dual buster and quick buff but until then his deck makes supporting him in a team quite the chore

And I got enkidu after i got his CE. Idk i have to feel happy or regret because i actually want altria and need saber class and i lack of saber class servant.
The answer is yes, unfortunately my measly 90 quartz won`t be enough. I just hope to pull Caster Gill. Who knows archer Gill might be a good catalyst for best clay.

I am rolling for Caster Gil, but I would not turn away Enkidu claybro as I need an SSR lancer.
Part of me wants to try to summon him because of not being able to pull Gilgamesh, but the other part of me wants to wait for Brynhildr for a great 5* Lancer.

My thoughts on Enkidu when I first looked over his kit: He can work in Quick teams given his offensive Assassin like deck or act as a star generator, has surprising bulk with the highest self (+debuff cleanser) heal in the game and an evasion on his second skill once it gets buffed. However, the second effect on his first skill is what throws me off the most. Why not make it something like Emiya's Projection post Rank Up where everything is guaranteed a buff for the turn? That would have made Enkidu more flexibility to have in his cards. Not to mention the self heal is on a long cooldown and unless Enkidu is being soloed or if you are in for a long fight, you need to make sure you use it at the right time or else you are screwed.
All in all: Enkidu is not bad, but he's not as top tier as newbies may think at first glance. He's a strange one among the pool of Servants.
I completely agree! If the 1st skill even just guarantee boosted his Quick, he'll be even more amazing as he can create more stars and hurt enemies a bit more. He's definitely not bad, but not worth spending sq on.

I’m F2P and Literally did one multi summon and rolled: 3 4*CE’s, Lancer Medusa Loli, AND Enkidu. Also did a single roll and got 4*CE Room Guard!! Talk about lucky

From my experience Enkidu is one of those servants that doesn't look very good on paper but is super good when you actually play with him. He is fairly useless for farming due to his low attack. His primary focus is boss battles, and believe me, there are a lot of boss battles in fgo. If you equip him with Conversation on the Hot Sands CE he becomes an ABSOLUTE BEAST! His gimmick is that his attack accelerates the longer he is in battle. He hits the enemy, gains crit stars, hits the enemy again, gains even more crit stars until there comes to a point where all of his attacks become 100% crit. At this point, his np gain becomes very quick and he can spam his np quite often.
He’s good, but I’m saving for other servants that are coming up, Musashi and Merlin are way too good

I got this clay doll from gsrr and burned it since I wanted Arturia Lancer. Do not like his design, do not like his skills, etc. I didn't roll on his banner and he still comes? No.
I have Enkidu in JP (because i wanted Gorgon) and... Enkidu is not bad servant at all, just use a guts CE on "it" to have a second life.
1 skill let Enkidu to have a decent dmg with NP, 2nd useful to remove evasion and survability.
The main role for Enkidu is the star generation, and he is the best lancer (and one of the best servants whole game) not only for 3 quick cards but also high hit counts.
I will not roll for "it" in NA, as F2P i have no SQ, and i will burn everything i have with Merlin, Musashi and King Hassan.
And even if i need a lancer id prefer Scathach for ST or Karna for AoE.
One of my friends in FGO has Enkidu, level 88, set as his Lancer support servant, and let me tell you, she(I know Enkidu's gender is unknown, but the voice actor is female, so I use pronouns like "she," "her," etc. as an acknowledgement of that fact) is insanely useful against other servants, even if she's ineffective against the servant in question. If I ever manage to get 10 unregistered spirit origins(by summoning the same servant 6 times per unregistered spirit origin, so in order to get 10 of those to get Enkidu from the special summon in Da Vinci's workshop, I'd need to summon the same servant 60 times if my math is correct, which it should be because 6x10 is of course 60)

The reason its a bad idea to roll for him is because he’s part of the general pool, and Merlin and Quetz come right after him. You probably will get spooked rolling for a different character, so why whale for him when you can get spooked by him?
