remove the battery re-insert it then repeat . be sure to use a good usb cable

not every mtk will show up in device manager when connected in meta mode
launch device manager > connect the phone check if it refreshes when the phone boots into meta mode
if it does you might need to update what the phone gets detected as
if it doesnt then you need to fix imei using a different method that doesnt involve writing in meta mode; forum.hovatek.com/thread-116.html
