Where has so many of them suddenly pop out in Manipur when they consider themselves minority is a serious questions.
Kukis are minority to meitei community so meitei govt and terrorist harrassing raping kuki women, kukis not allowed to use govt. facilities like airport, hospitals, post office etc. So they are killing innocent people of kukis. So kukis have the right to fight for their rights.
It clearly shows that you have zero knowledge, let me educates you here don't you know why there is Chieftainship among the kuki and not to other tribal community and why there is a rules being display, form and even written in Constitution and recognize that no general community can purchase land in tribal dominated area in the hills but tribal can do in the valley, it clearly show that before the merger of manipur from princely state that means the manipur has been form after the margin

The demand is for the survival and existence of the Kuki-Zo people. Decades and decades of lopsided policies and selective developments ,the rise of the so called exclusive pseudo-ethnic nationalist who bombarded you with derogatory and othering words , blame the community for almost all the problems in Manipur are unlikely to change their attitude .When you are being called as outsiders and given derogatory names, it effects your dignity and survival. Peace seems to be around the corner but peace without addressing the core issue of the problem cannot bring lasting peace. People shout peace -peace and hold a gun in their hands in the form of hate speech, lethal weapons, deprivation of basic commodities, extending a half-hearted hand of peace without regrets or remorse are some of the things that needs to be addressed first.

What you've written here is true. Every word of it. Atrocities committed towards the meiteis are even worse. But at the end of the day, there has to be a dialogue. Whether you want separate administration or a separate country is what you wish or demand. We, meiteis, wish the same. A complete cut off with the kuki community. Using derogatory comments and remarks is equally being done to the meiteis as well. Its been too long and that is the only reason why we want peace. It is half hearted of course, I mean, who would want to live together with a community that has had the audacity to justify daylight slaughter of young girls and even old men who are mere farmers? And I know we were also called 'rapist community' '650km sq ft' 'ngaripur' Every side has a story to tell. For the meiteis it is not only about the mass slaughter and the displacement of villagers, it's also about our history and our indigeneity. Years ago meitei pilgrimages were banned from worshipping the koubru hill which strongly hurt the religious and spiritual sentiment of the meiteis. Imagine being original occupants of a land and being threatened by some outsiders for years. And this had been going on way before the actual conflict. So there's that. However setting everything aside , we, the stakeholders, (now that you've already been part of Manipur for years ) need a political dialogue. If you continue to see only YOUR side of the story and refuse to accept anything, nothing can be initiated.

Kukis demand UT with Legislature is possible under the provision of Indian Constitution. Kukis demand is historical and documented. By now, Kukis and meiteis are demographically, geograpgically and ethnically separated on 3rd May 2023 which was done by the meitei themselve but not the Kukis. Meitei and Kuki cannot live together again. India govt.also clearly knows the act and revolution of Meitei against India and against the Kukis. Meitei militants has many history against Indian Army and Assam Rifles since past 50 years. Now, India will move forward what solution is to be.....

MERGER OF MANIPUR WITH THE INDIAN UNION:
The marger agreement of Manipur with the Indian union was signed between the maharaja of Manipur Shri(L) Bodha Chandra Singh and Shri V.P.menon,adviser to the government of India,ministry of states on behalf of the dominion of India on the 21st September,1949 at Shillong,in which the maharaja of Manipur surrendered his territory titles, authority,right and privileges,except his personal properties and religious rites and recieved a sum of Rs.e lakhs per year Thus the sovereignty and independence of Manipur came up to and end on the date the maharaja appends his signature on the historic merger agreement (Annexure - X).the total area of Manipur merger agreement covered was his territory of 700 sq.miles or 26,500 Paris/hectares,not even a single inch of hill areas.

Meetei in Manipur lived within imphal and sorrounding plains only. The tribals live in the hills. The hills never ever belonged to the meetei. Even our constitution under sec 371c gave protection to the tribals in Manipur from meetei. The meetei has NO rights to claim the hill areas as part of Imphal.

They’re already separated on their own territory the Meitei at the Imphal Valley the Kuki in the Hills . After the violence start they have not contact each other the only time they contact is when they shoot each other and lives were lost. So the only solution is to give them separate UT or State.

We meitei are living together with all different tribes for several decades but the kuki only tribe for long term planned to have their own homeland , they have tried at many country and states but not possible. Now this is their last move. We dont know what would be having. Bangladesh has push out, mizoram has also limited their land settlement or buying which is not possible again to live their. Burma still burning, thailand too called them virus. But why only our indian govt is still quite for their mischievous acts. I have many kuki old friend from childhood, we lived together happily for 40 years since. I dont think they all want war for land. Question is who are those people who ignite fire amongst us. UT is not solution, resettlement by protecting both from foreign is the only solution.

All tribes residing in the hills of Manipur are blood brothers of Meitei Salai except nomadic kukis migrants and refugees.
Why not a Union Territory? The Centre continues to retain its grip and the Tribals are satisfied. It is the best solution possible in many ways. Eventually the tribals will become RSS members as in Nagaland and that would be great.

For the people of India, pls consider the following:-
1. 75 years plus of Independence and the Kukis still have to depend on the valley for education, healthcare, business and livelihood, and all basic needs.
2. The meitei dominated state had used its entire state machinery to drive away Kukis from imphal- burnt churches, houses, looted properties, raped and killed women and burnt children too.
3. Hate speeches were openly delivered in the public and meitei terrorists group Arambai Tengols also forced all the meitei MLAs and Ministers to take an oath of allegiance towards them.
4. Meitei terrorists loosest arms from Manipur police training academy and other armory- they are all always heavily guarded. The looted arms are wielded openly but not a single arrest and no suspension of people on duty.
5. While relief camps in imphal are ran by manipur govt, those in Kuki areas are sponsored by individual contributions from good Samaritans.
