    When you run at 125-120% for a long time, your body will re balance by putting you at 40-60% for a couple days

    Get well soon. The body works hard to fight the infection. Rest is a godsend. Hey has anyone mentioned you look like Troy Aikman.

    Great video and perspective. We all train so hard, a day or two (or three!) of recovery is not going to derail years of progress.

    The best thing to do when you're sick is to rest and maintain a clean diet. Taking supplements, especially vitamin C and vitamin D, can be beneficial. I've experienced illness many times, and trying to stick to your regular training schedule can be detrimental. Not only can it prolong the healing process, but it can also exacerbate the illness. So, it's best to rest, eat healthily, and perhaps do some stretching if you're up to it. However, it's crucial not to resume intense training until you're fully recovered.

    It’s great to see the human side of training. I’ve had a couple of bad weeks with a string of Calf tear, flu, quad strain, food poisoning, and ongoing elbow tendinitis. So freaking annoying not to be hitting great workouts.

      @@JasonGrubb it has to, right. Has been annoying with ongoing tweaks in the calf and quad. But working through it. Any recommendations on beating the tendinitis?

    How much ACV do you put in your water?

    • @JasonGrubb
      @JasonGrubb  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A splash - probably a tablespoon or two in a 20oz shaker
