Love the fusion of your work with Dan Tirels' technique! I am a major "Dan Fan" and have watched all his videos. I think oil paint offers a better tonal range, but you definitely made acrylics work well in this composition. Fun stuff! Thanks for the experimentation!
So glad you enjoyed it! Dan Tirel is a genius. I'm loving playing with the possibilities in this technique. Definitely agree that oils have more range. I’ll be trying that next! Thanks for watching! 😍
Hey, everyone! 👋 Thanks for checking out this video on acrylic paint monoprinting techniques! I had so much fun experimenting with these methods, and I can’t wait to see what YOU create. 🌟 🎨 Don’t forget to: ✔ Like the video if you learned something new! ✔ Subscribe for more creative art tutorials. ✔ Share your monoprinting experiments in the comments-I’d love to feature your artwork in a future video!
Very cool technique Trina! Love the textures and marks, and the unknown of what you might get with the mono-printing. The white marks and marking back into the white really turned out cool. Nice simple colors, very calming, even though the composition and marks are a bit more chaotic. Keeps it balanced I think! 😍🤩😍
I LOVE this!! Cool monoprinting technique and of course your palette is stunning. This piece reminds me of November in my native Finger Lakes region of New York. The negative space in the center looks like a snow-covered lake. Beautiful!
OH MY GOSH... I just spent the last 3 days trying to remember his name. Thank you so much for mentioning him, I've used some of his techniques on my work and really do love it. I've never tried it with acrylics, I've only used oils. lol I only bought 4 colors of oil paint to do it with. Basic ones... red... white... black and blue.Thank you for sharing it and I'll try the acrylic now....Oh I actually use a heavier plastic bag that came with some pillow covers I got off Etsy and that works so much easier and less messy.
Haha! You are welcome! Dan’s work is truly amazing. I’m glad I could help refresh your memory. I’m going to try it with oil paint next. Thanks for the idea of a heavier bag. 😍
@@MixedMediaArtByTrina Oh If you can't find one you like better, I would be glad to mail one to you. And thank you again for all you do!!! Your work is amazing too!!
Love Dan Tiel’a work!! Could be really good or could be really bad …the story of my life 😂 Love the bag technique! Cool! I’ve done the bag technique to walls using trash bags and some glaze to thin the latex paint …super successful. I haven’t applied to my art for some weird reason. Added some glazing medium or paint extender, flotrol to the acrylic paint to extend the open time.
Hi Trina loved all of the video, and some new tips too. Will check out Dan Tirels. For some reason l cant get the "like" button to work so l will put it here😁👍 Thanks for sharing your work....Alioban ❤

Yes! It really enjoyed the unexpected surprise of the monoprint. I might try it with wax paper to make a larger piece. Thanks my friend!😍
