The one I used to have must've been pre-owned or something because it didn't have the head strap or the little stand. So, aside from my face buried in the table & the thing plugged into a wall socket, 3:01 is pretty much what I did.
I wonder if they didn't have full color because the lenses would lead to chromatic aberration, and they wanted to make the thing as cheap as possible, so they didn't want to have to invest time and effort into developing a more complex optical system to offset the effects of chromatic aberration. Or they were just insane.
Thank you for this information, I noticed the higher quality versions are a little different sometimes, the music or sounds, and some extra content has been added, I wanted to stick to his original work. Without the improvements, it's just not the same, 😁

SEGA of Japan squashed the chance of a collaboration, however that was voted as number 2, number 1 is rushing the Saturn. it was $100 more expensive than the first Playstation

So, not only did they rush it out the door, but they changed the hardware, meaning people developing for the system would have to readjust to the new hardware, while also being rushed by Sega just throwing the console out onto the market with NO warning.
Never owned the Virtual Boy, but have played an emulator of it and it was still messing with my eyes badly. Like I feel like Nintendo forgot what the term portable meant when coming up with the thing lol

I have played virtual boy games with the use of an emulator. And I liked some of them like Mario clash, panic bomber, and wario land. I play them in black and white.
ive trained my eyes for a long time, id like to put my eyes on a challenge, this would be fun, but its rare and my parents are broke, theyd kick me out of the house again.

Trivia: Sega originally planned a VR system using the same tech but after hearing about risk of seizures they passed so Nintendo used it instead.
