I loved this method so much I recreated it earlier in the spring when after you posted the first one. I really wanted to braid my hair again but wanted to do boho braids. Now that you posted an updated version I’m tempted to do it as well but I’m going on vacation for a month and a half. Can you give a little advise on how to make sure the bottom piece doesn’t slide out and how to secure the top piece to where the locking hair is not the only hair holding it in? Thank you Caryn 😊
Love this comment and I sure can for added security for the top piece braid it in first when you add in the first piece of 16” braiding hair, and before you wrap it pull it up and lay it against your head like shown in the video. For the bottom for extra security when making the bundles I would add 3-4 rubber bands to band it, and to add it to the ends I would still crochet it thru the rubber band and then go in and tie another rubber band around the end of the kinky hair and the bundle. Then wrap and finish the loc like in the video. I’m going to do a 3 week update, but so far my hair is doing great. Thank you and Hope this helps💙💙💙

It doesn’t really boil down to a favorite but more so what look I’m trying to achieve in the moment. So I say settle on a desired choice and you got it. However I experienced a little bit of dryness on the ends over time with this curl pattern.💙
