nice job. I have found that the gears get sloppy on the shafts . all the combined slop adds to cause the teeth to mesh without enough pressure. I added 3 stainless washers on the idler gear shaft towards centre of cleaner taking some slop out. This seems to work as a temporary measure until new parts arrive.
Excellent video. Straight to the point and edited strategically for brevity. Obviously need a little camera adjustment so the subject is centered on the screen, but otherwise great job! Thanks
I used your video and replaced all my gears but still having tbl. with creapy staying in one area. It will spin but goes right back to the same area of pool. What is the difference with the arms on the cam kit????
if I understand your comment, arms cause brush to go up and down to turn it. If it's years old brush on outside of unit may be too worn not allowing it to move.
Very helpful, thanks for the excellent step-by-step, saved me the cost of having Pinch A Penny do the fix.....
good video. my little number wont turn so on the video, i learned how this beast works!
I am thankful to you for this information. It worked perfectly.

Even with new gears mine seems to still be sloppy on the shaft. I was thinking washers also so they dont move around as much and stay tight
