Your version of hakka is pretty much the same as what my girlfriend speaks!, I say things to her that I learn from you, and she understands what I say haha! this is why I am hoping you carry on making these types of videos because I am learning so much very quickly!, I love them! Keep up the good work! 😊
Loved this video, I understood all of it. I have struggled to find other speakers of Hakka that was similar to the one I grew up speaking. I’m born and raised in the US and I don’t have anyone to practice with. I’m nervous the language will die off, I want to teach my daughter. Thanks for this!
Thank you teacher, you are not only entertaining, but also very educational video. I was born in Mauritius now living in Canada. I used to speak a little Meixian Hakka with my parents and now I understand less than before due to not speaking it. You make learning fun. Keep up the good work.
Thanks you so much for your video. I like it so much.Hakka is my first language.when I hear your voice in Hakka. That sounds so perfect and gives me the feeling of familiar and warm. How to say, it can touch my heart. I hope you can make more videos. I always support you . From USA

Glad to have found this... I'm wanting to learn this language.
Your video helps me a lot as a Chinese hakka myself
Moyen Hak,🙂 same hakka we speak in Mauritius.
Interesting how most hakkas ended up in tropical places like Surinam, Jamaica, Mauritius, Indonesia, India etc...
Anyone know why?
Just feel at home...
When watching you each and every time...
Maybe connected in past lives...
😁
What does “Mook nee” mean to you? Thought part of that is mushrooms? But the way you say mushroom is different? Do you speak the same Hakka as the guy from Jamaica? ❤️
Hi.. Im from Indonesia, mostly what you said, i understand, just some hv little bit diffrent sound maybe, like you said tsee kang, i said teu kang 😉

Your Hakka and Dungsan’s Hakka are almost identical and practically the same as mine. I have met Dungsan many times in Toronto and Stuart from Suriname and we all speak the same Hakka 99.5% of the time. We might differ in some slang words because I am from Sabah, Malaysia, and as you know Dungsan is from Jamaica. Keep up the great work. Perhaps you can do a video of non-standard “Hakka” words because of local influence?
That is fascinating. Great to hear that even though we're all scattered over the world, we can still find a way to connect. I will think about your suggestion, thanks! Have a good evening :)
How come Dungsan isn’t making anymore video? Could you let him know I enjoy his Hakka videos too? Thx.
@@josephsiew8494 Dungsan is a busy guy nowadays I think. Busy with Hakka genealogy stuff.
omg did not know you grew up in surinam! would love to hear more about your experience there :D
ah yes, I've briefly talked about that in my 'growing up hakka chinese surinamese' video, but I'll give it some thought for future vids, thanks dear :)
Love your video. We are of the same Hakka 👍
my parents were also born in guangdong province and my dad came from dongguan, then my parents moved to suriname and now i and my parents live in the netherlands lmao
