    I was posted in Kashmir and thus studied her and her people in depth? Who are the genuine Kashmiris? That is both Hindus and Muslims. They are the indigenous Central Asian Aryans and many of them have now converted to Semitic-Islam. Thus ethnically the Kashmiri Muslims and Kashmiri Brahmans (Pandits) are the same people. Except in Hindu Kashmir there were many castes and the Hindus who converted to Islam often retained their caste names. While many Brahmans did not convert to Islam. Thus among Muslims we still find different castes names for example, Wani (Wania), Tantrey (Tantrin), Magrey (Magasa), Teli (Teli), Bhat (Butt), Pandit, etc. reflecting their caste origin. The Muslims have retained their caste names with pride though now taken up mostly Semitic (Yehudi-Arab) origin first names. By Bhat (Butt) refers to an intellectual which is an appropriate title for Kashmiri Brahmans considering their traditions. Like us Jat-Sikhs a Kashmiri Brahman will never marry outside his clan. The few cases which have occurred are among pseudo-westernized or families with problems. Outside caste marriage is blasphemy in the Bhagwad Gita. History has shown this also leads to severe problems for such a family on the long run. If one reads the Rajatarinigini all this is more than evident.

      I have many friends in Maharashtra who migrated from kashmir to Maharashtra around 300-400 years back.
      Now their language is Marathi but they are performing some rituals which are just like kashmiri pandits.
      Nice to hear about you as well❤

    Hi!
    I heard that Buddhists were in kashmir before and Kashmiri shaivism was only spread by Mihirakula (by force acc. To Kalhana).
    Also, i have read that Rajtarangi is not a historical account, rather a poetic one in historical context...as mentioned by scholars and there are plenty of chronological mistakes in it?

    • @sahilsingh6048
      @sahilsingh6048 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      There are proves of hinduism before buddhism its just for the time buddhism became popular , its just after buddhism that one sect of hinduism(shavism) became popular , and mihirkula was indeed a shaiv. He was a Hun invader .

    • @sahilsingh6048
      @sahilsingh6048 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes Rajtarangini cannot be a completely reliable source , but some parts of it can be inferred considering the book belongs to same age , this is the same case with bible which has been usefull for identification of many the unknown Egyptian pharos.

    • @Macabre..21
      @Macabre..21 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@sahilsingh6048 I think the difference in this case is that bible claims to be a truthful account, while Rajtarangi does not. Kalhana was considered a poet and not a historian.
      Also, according to his own account the book was written within a year. How is a historical account of thousands of years possible in such a short time span.
      I have seen certain works alluding to Kalhana talking about the poetic intuition for writing the account.

    • @Macabre..21
      @Macabre..21 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Bible, right or wrong, at least claims to be truthful and its historical mistakes are overlooked probably because it is the source of theology fundamentally.
      Rajtarangi on the other hand is presented as a historical account.
      There is little evidence to corroborate this work in contemporary sources.

    Madam ji,you are totally wrong When Brahmans were Persecuted by Delhi Moghul Rulers,They requested the King that if the Moghul Rulers felt discomfort with Brehmin Prefix then Kashmiris opted to be addressed with Pandit .Another name Bhatta became invogue to kashmiris was during Pathan rulers when they Saw Dal Batta as a meal in every Kashmiri families, and with the Passage of time another name Batta got attached to Kashmiries .And Still Muslims who are doctorate in manufacturing nicknames, use the nickname daale Batta.Madam ji ,the Indian books from which you got to material are all fake. All Indian books don't Carry truth more than 20%.Kashmir was never Part of India and in future will also never remain with India, we have Seen horrible 80 year's under Indian dispensation.In this Context Please recall the four Coplets that our ancestors have Left for us who had gone through the migration from Kashmir and what they had read is well defined in the Couplets and the Present Kashmiries are experiencing the same nightmares what our ancestors have undergone. Madam ji display grit,guts and gumption in narrating the reality ,that Kashmiries always got the Trouble from the Rulers of Delhi. This time Nature is Playing the reverse game. Praise Mata Sharada ki Jai.Nomo Narayana!

      Dear Sister, utmost respect for what u are saying, but firstly,I would like to clarify that it is prohibited in Islam to force anyone to change religion and faith is something which illuminates ones heart with the love and obedience of ONE TRUE GOD and casts away the darkness of ignorance and arrogance.So,anyone even with elementary knowledge of Islam know this thing.Regarding history, I would like to say that it was buddism which spread first in retailiation to some of the hindu practices that were prevalent in the society at that time (especially caste system).But Buddism did not believe in the concept of GOD at all and it was later on when ISLAM came and spread becoz it had the concept of GOD,who is not the GOD of any country or continent,but the GOD of entire humanity and entire universe.I always wonder that how can GOD of people living in different parts of the world be different.Lastly,you can change the outer appearance and implement certain rituals, customs by force, but u can never change the hearts and souls of people unless people willingly want to change and accept the change.History is not the final word.I think we shud try to think and reflect onn things rather than take them as they are. May ALLAH give us knowledge insight and wisdom.May truth and peace prevail.
