Bobby might be out of breath but he really knows how to talk in a interview, very well mannered.
Ronnie could absolutely be a radio personality, his speaking voice is awesome. It’s amazing to see these guys and that they’re all alive and thriving. The maturity they’ve accomplished together and singularly is nothing short of beautiful and God-led
Ronnie used to host a radio talk show on 1380 WOAK, called Real Estate 101 along side Mary Gill from 2005 to 2007 in Atlanta.

I can believe Ralph got offered a solo deal when they were kids, especially due to the fact he had the look that was more marketable. Because when they were young, all of them looked a little rough minus Ralph. Plus Ralph had the young Michael Jackson voice, & we know the industry likes to repeat what worked before.
What About I can't only Becuase the first song they recorded was Jelous Girl, why record a song that Bobby sings lead in if you only like Ralph? Make little sense

I saw them back in 96 or 97 at Home Again Tour in Salt Lake City, they were great even though Bobby was "sick" and a no-show.

Most So Called NE 4 Lifers seem to favor Ralph & Bobby over the other 4. Ralph was the pick of management and producers bcuz he sounded like Lil Michael Jackson in the beginning. He got the majority of the leads bcuz his voice favored the bubblegum sound. While Ricky fell back and played his part, Bobby wasn't having it anymore and started his rebellion. He got kicked out and the world got to see how great of an entertainer he was. Ralph thought it was his time to go solo. Bring in Johnny for the Heart Break album to change the groups image, Ricky's voice was getting more versatile, Ralph still sang the majority of the leads. Ralph is going solo, Johnny doing his thang, and Bobby already being a solo star, Ralph didn't count on BBD creating a group and becoming so huge. With all that being said, go watch the Video Soul "Tension Interview", Ralph realized that he was just the lead singer of New Edition and all the other guys really didn't need him to eat and he's probably the least famous outta all 6
You believe Ralph is the least favorite? You are delusional. Ralph sound IS New Edition. If BBD was so loved and popular then why do they NEED to tour at ALL as NE. I mean look at the tour now, it should be BBD and Bobby Brown, not NE. If BBD were so successful why not call the tour what it is, BBD featuring Bobby Brown. Or better yet, since they were all Sooooo successful why not bill the tour as BBD and Bobby Brown. Let BBD do half the concert then let Bobby do the other half, or visa versa. If they were all soooo successful on their own, why RIDE the New Edition name.
I NEVER said Ralph was the least Favorite, I said he was the least FAMOUS. BBD can show up and do Poison and the audience will explode anywhere they go. Bobby is Bobby. He could do some Don't Be Cruel hits and the crowd would love it. Johnny could sing hits from his days with Stacy and his album after NE and hold a crowd. I can play my New Edition mix, play Sensitivity, Do What I Gotta Do, etc taking my niece and nephew to School and they think it's New Edition. Point of this is they know who BBD is, they know who Bobby is, they know who Johnny is, but when they hear Ralph solo, they think it's New Edition

Sandra Contreras: If you notice Ricky says " We asked Bob if was going on tour after the movie and he said yes" so we figured since BBD was going on tour that we should go out together and perform on stage together." First, an obvious lie BB could not go on tour by himself if he wanted to his voice is gone, I don't why they keep acting as though BB is still the BB from the 80's and 90's; look at his stomach check out how he's huffing and puffing, and he's sitting down. This dude is done for.
It's time for BBD to stand on their own and maybe feature BB with his mic turned off. You are absolutely correct if they are so successful and BB is still successful then they don't need NE and poor Ralph. I'm so sick of BBD and BB fans trashing Ralph that his career was not as successful. He may not have sold as many records as BBD or BB but, karma has a way of coming back around cleaning up the mess and taking out the trash. Karma allowed Ralph to swoop down and take the NE Trademark. Now he's wealthier than all those fools put together.
Ralph really don't have to sing or perform again if he chooses not to, however, I believe Ralph will continue to perform because of the love he has for his fans. However, BBD and BB have to perform because as Mike said, "We have to feed our families." I believe BB knew his time in the spot had come to an end. He knew that his royalties from his short stint with NE and his royalties as a solo artist would not sustain his lively-hood so he came up with plans for a documentary; which I'm sure he believes will give him the capital he needs to maintain his lifestyle and keep him on the top.
Ralph has always been the nice and easy going friend. Ralph has been all about the group since it was formed. He has dedicated almost 38 years of his life to these jack-asses that slapped him in the face because he wanted to do a solo spot before they started their tour. When has BB been all about the group or anybody else except BB?
Ralph never stopped them from going on tour when they wanted to, they couldn't even give him that. Ralph now refers to them as his so-called friends. Thank God karma came back around and hit these fools where it will hurt for some time to come in their pockets. Thank God for karma.

It's funny as hell looking back at this bc these guys really thought they was doing something a year ago. Like they literally recruited bobby as a slap in the face to Ralph after knowing what bobby did and then they went and talked shit about him in interviews including this interview and they let alot of you loopy doopy fans believe that the trademark was really the issue and they did this basically trying to break this man. Fast forward to now bobby looking sick out his mind bbd obviously isn't making as much money as they thought they would and now we have Mike bivens begging for an all six tour bc apparently bobby is back on the same bs. I love 💕 these guys so much! I know that they are married, no disrespect. they are so sexy 😍 OMG! Ronnie is my favorite member in the group. He looks like he's 28 years old. Ricky is wearing one of my favorite colors. I likes that, lol. They are also so humble as well.

Man. I truly feel bad for Ralph. Its like he really got the short end of the stick. Your voice was what carried the group for years. The others were not strong harmonizers so he even did most of the background vocals. New Edition's sound is Ralph's. So when they branched off he was the only one who couldn't reveal something new. We had heard him the whole time. At the end of the day, I'm an advocate that it is about the song. He just never got the strong songs outside of Sensitivity. He didn't get the Babyface and the Teddy Riley's. Did get Jam & Lewis but again the New Edition sound... nothing different.
Michael Jones so he doesn't make sense that he would not want to be apart of this tour. He is the least successful of them all
Don't feel sorry for Ralph. It's not like he hasn't had his solo career opportunities. He's a great entertainer but best when he's NEs lead singer. He comes off as being super salty
Which basically means NE is his bread and butter and he should realize that and come back.
He and Bobby are the most successful. I count NE as his solo. He sang everything. IJS. The fact that they can't do a NE tour without him shows he was successful enough.

Ricky always shading Ralph, watch their interviews. I really believe they do Ralph dirty behind the scenes and dont really mess with him or make it clear he not in the crew, except Ronnie, I feel like Ronnie and Ralph are friends but he will always ride with Mike and Rickey and Ralph will ride with Johnny.
The only one not constantly shading Ralph is Ronnie. They mad cause he don't want to keep carrying them.

Hmm... I’m grateful these 4 are touring together as a group. I wonder if something happened between Ralph and Johnny vs Bobby cuz Bobby was with them as heads of state and now he’s with BBD as RBRM. Maybe he’s the one who both sides gel with adequately enough. There is so much to be told and as a fan I’m obviously curious about why. All y’all assuming stuff I tell you I wish there’d be more out of Ralph and Johnny about what’s been goin on with this and why there isn’t NE completely right now. I remember their Instagram post over a year ago promising tour dates. A year and some months later, we still got nothing. I wish they’d get it together cuz one thing y’all said is true is they do need Ralph. His voice is way too prominent in their sound unfortunately and I say unfortunately only cuz he’s not with them right now. Johnny too. I agree he seems like a great dude outside the group but mike did say many times he’s extremely opinionated. Peeps tend to forget he only agreed to be in the group back in 87 so it’d help his solo career, yet he acting like he has every right to the history of the brand? He wasn’t there for 9-10 years when they came up. He ain’t even from Boston. Just sayin. It’s sad too cuz we all probably will never know.
Something VERY foul was done in regards to someone close to Ralph by one of THESE 4 men(take a wild guess). So much so that in Ralph's last two interviews in JAN. and Feb. he pushed the "CORE 5". obviously excluding the foul person that did it. Prayers to Ralph for healing. He shouldn't have to go work with that person.
Oh AND btw it has NOTHING to do with Johnny. Bobby and MIKE are the 2 main shit starters in NE. Johnny is the ONLY one who has had Ralph's back throughout this unfortunate ordeal caused by one of the members of RBRM. He is the ONLY one with a moral compass. Mind you the 3 others chose to STILL work with the person who did this awful thing just to make a buck.

I love NE since 83 and want to see all of them win but these guys are taking petty to the next level and it's hurting the brand. Let me tell you BBD has always did good without Ralph when people knew NE was still NE but trust me when I tell you that Ralph not touring with them is hurting them. At the end of the day the only way you will hear those NE songs is with Ralph period. People have spent most of their lives supporting NE and to see the group crumble after all these years is very hurtful to alot of people.
