As a 30yr stick car veteran. Currently running 4:80s with a stick and leaf springs. Stick cars work better with bias ply tires. Mickey Thompson makes tires specifically for stick cars. My ‘67 Camaro runs consistent sub 1:10 60ft on the back tires….
J Whit! I got a video of one of your passes from yesterday (monday). I can send it to you if you’d like. Angle is from the stands. Cool trick with the hatch opening down track!
Beautiful car awesome setup Ford power forever baby keep on pulling the knot out of them boties and the horns off them mopars l love it Chevy killer forever baby and all the rest
Currently running a mcleod rxt1200hd twin disc clutch. I love it and have ran them in many cars, but making the switch to a black magic defiant adjustable clutch. Rear gear is a 3.73
@@J-Whit I'm curious to see. I have a 91 Camaro RS that will be getting turbo LS swapped. It's a 5 speed car. I really don't want to put a 4L80 in it...
Hopefully we can make some consistent fast passes on sick week!
I have 2010 camaro very similar build ls3 twins t56 same clutch 9 in 4 link 3.70 gear

Just grab the Bang Shift Billy. It's worth every penny spent on it.
I love your car keep it up
Hope you enjoy sick week and your mustang hits records! I'm here for the TBSS..straight six!
Pretty car. Good luck this week.
That's awesome congrats on the PB and getting your licence.
I see you have ran both ratio transmissions witch one you like better
definitely the 2.66. the 2.97 trans is very quick between first through 3rd.
@@J-Whit I’m surprised you say that I thought the 2.97 first gear would help in the 60 ft , how much does your car weigh with you in it
it is noticably shorter lol. with me in it at race weights, its just over 3k lbs. @@bensinger5229
Just saw y'all go through brooksville! Sucker sounds sweeeeeet!

Good luck on Sick Week. How do you like the Holley VCT control?

Awesome video brotha!!! By chance whats your wheel and tire size?? Front and back??
Fronts are 26" front runners on 17"welds. Rears are 15x12 with a 28x10.5x15 slick. Or 275/60/15 radial.
@@J-Whit Thanks brotha!!! I love the stance of the car...
I’m a new/huge fan! So glad I found you bro ! I’m in it till the end buddy!

New to your channel! What clutch and rear gear are you running
Currently running a mcleod rxt1200hd twin disc clutch. I love it and have ran them in many cars, but making the switch to a black magic defiant adjustable clutch.
Rear gear is a 3.73
Hi do you take your foot off the gas on purpose in between gears just wondering
In the video yes, we didnt have no lift shift turned on because i didnt have the clutch switch in yet.
Ok that when done l see low 8s
Do I see a clutch tamer in your future? Bangshift Billy?
We are testing one now from our buddy!

dont get me wrong its cool but making a real 93 cobra a racecar just doesn't seem right to me
Yea its not for everyone. I got it with the cage already in it and the coyote swap done. I think its cool.
@@J-Whit definitly cool just think it would be silly to spend 60k and then do that but if you got it that way i get it
