Considering the way he rides, it’s posible he has a race motor in the bike. I had a kx85 with a 112cc pro circuit kit on it which didn’t sound anything like a normal 85. That kx could beat a 125/150 outright any day of the week, but the gas (ran on 110) was expensive af
