Dropped in to see how true the review is as I am new to the Channel. Been using thia product for about 2 and a half years, I can vouch everything said is legit.
Your brief information about the washing machine with drier is very informative for those who wanted to select the washer and drier machine . Thanks for sharing your experience.
Thank you for this wonderfully detailed review and demo. I just got my Samsung Washer Dryer and your video was a big reason why I picked this machine. Could you recommend detergents for the washer dryer? Thank you again!
Hi Gandhali Limaye! That's awesome! I hope you have a good run with it :) I use liquid detergent (this one amzn.to/3l4JrUe) and a fabric softener (this one amzn.to/3B8he4z).
@@TheGrapevineIndia Hello, i have bought the same model few days back. I am facing issue with liquid detergent. Whenever i pour liquid detergent in tray it just flows into the drum even though i am using liquid holder provided by Samsung. Have u faced this issue? Any solution?
Hi again, is it still working fine? Shall I buy it or you will suggest some other option? Please do Recoomended and as usual i love your videos and the value you add.
Hi! Yes, it's working perfectly fine. But I think the size I bought is not available anymore. You may want to consider the next size here amzn.to/3FlM63K. My parents got it and are quite happy!
OMG, Saumya I love you so much, I got all the information I wanted from your series and I didn't need any other research, very informative and straight to the point. I am a mechanical engineer and as soon as I watched the 1st & 2nd video about washing machines, I said to my self this can't be right, I am not used to get all the information I wanted in one video, usually it takes me a lot videos and google searches (jumping from video to video & article to article) to get this information. Immediately I knew you were an engineer and my expectations were right. You are a very intelligent person, and I wish you all the success. 🙏
Hi @muazlegend - thank you so much! Am glad you found it useful and sequenced in the right way. I thought about how I would go over the process and created it. Glad it is working 😊
Soumya don’t know how I missed this video to watch. Any way I have enough space as in my old version of house no utility area. So near the bathroom in one of my rooms I kept Samsung 7 kg washing machine front load. Again near this machine kept seperate Samsung 9 kg Dryer. It dries completely 100 % within near about 80 minutes. We r two people so wash the clothes of 3 days. It has heat pump technology. Couldn’t get offline but got it from Amazon. Just to throw water at the end of that cycle, remove the lint from lint basket with given brush. Directly keep the cloths in cupboard. Bought in January 2022 Pune
Hi vaijayanti zanpure! That's great! Heat pump dryer is a good option and separate dryer always works quicker than washer-dryer. Thanks for sharing your feedback aunty!
Hi John, if you wash daily - it would suffice for a family of 3 as the max you can load for full drying is 5kg. If you prefer to wash once in 2-3 days, I recommend a larger size.
Hi Saumya, Good day. I have seen quite a few of your videos regarding washer-dryer and want to thank you very much for the details. I recently bought a Samsung washer-dryer. I wanted to know how we can maintain the health of the machine. Eg: 1. Cleaning any filters? 2. Adding any hard water softener? (is it required) 3. Anything else that you follow? It would be of a great help to me if you could give a few tips regarding usual maintenance. Not sure if you have already posted a video for the same. If yes, kindly share the link. Looking forward for your reply. Thanks.
@@TheGrapevineIndia i am very satisfied with the performance of this machine. Only thing that concern me is the sound during the spin cycle. It's very loud. Are you also facing this?
Hello, thanks for posting such informative video. We are looking forward to buy a similar model and below are few more queries to which we are still looking for more clarity ... 1. Would clothes get kinda faded n dull using Washer cum Dryer? If yes, any particular fabric you recommend to avoid ? 2. Does samsung washer dryer combo model leave a lot of creases on clothes ? As in, will it be manageable for the daily wear to use without ironing? 3. We are kinda confused between LG and Samsung brands. Which one would you recommend for Washer Dryer Combo? Samsung 9kg/6Kg or LG 9kg/5Kg ?
Hi Ashish! It is definitely more wrinkled than air drying. If it is taken out from the machine immediately after wash and folded - the creases are lower. if you leave it in the machine for too long - then the creases get set and appear quite wrinkled.
Hi Aslam, Direct Drive is just an LG terminology - it helps make the washing machine have lesser vibration and sound. The Samsung one also has a digital inverter tech - which makes it quieter than earlier generation ones. I use the Samsung washer dryer and I have family that uses LG washer dryer - both give equivalent performance of 100% drying.
Hi... i m planning to buy washer n drying... the time you made this vdo was lesser of abt 2,3 weeks usage, so i want to ask now after a year... are you satisfy with this samsung product or any drawback you faced... Plz suggest wch brand i go for as i want to buy washer+dryer
Hi Prachi, it's really good. I'm still using it. Pure cotton clothes do get a bit more crumpled and could shrink - I have barely faced that maybe with 1 or 2 of my clothes though.
I'm sorry for seeing this so late! I bought the same samsung one, it's been 2 months and we're loving it so far! It even gets rid of all our doggo's hair 🥺 Literally the best investment 😁 So far the only downside is that scent beads don't work due to the dryer cycle but I'm not too mad about that 🤭
Hi Afreen, what size are you looking for? In the smaller size, Samsung may be your only option (ai use this model amzn.to/3taH7Md). Samsung in general seems to be better for washer dryers - has equivalent or better specs than LG and definitely better customer feedback - including me. Very happy with my purchase. Let me know which size and may be able to guide you better
Hi Rakesh, depending on your model, washing machines require atleast 20psi or you may get failure while filling the tank. If you are already using a washing machine with the same pressure, same should work for this one too
Thanks Sreelakshmi! I’m in love 😁 So much time saved. I just renovated my kitchen- so it just adds to the whole charm that there are no clothes hanging 😊
@@TheGrapevineIndia True plus the benefit of no more waiting for clothes to dry during monsoon. It definitely is a boon and a time saver when one has to do multi-tasking. I understand restrictions have been imposed in Bengaluru which is similar to what we have in Maharashtra. Stay home and stay safe.
Greetings! Extremely well put together video and absolutely love the way you put every information out there.! Have watched your other videos too and based on reviews, I just purchased this 7kg/5kg washer dryer WD70M4443JS. I have got this one major concern - the drain pump makes grinding noises which are more prominently heard during the spin cycle after the wash cycle has finished, which I think is a bit excessive. Is this the case with your machine as well? I was wondering if that kind of sound level is normal operation, or should I be concerned and call customer care?
Hi Rishabh, it is normal for a small time after the wash cycle. I have heard it on the rare days that I run it during the day. Else it’s predominantly run in the night. Thanks for your feedback 😊 means a lot.
Thanks for such an informative video. I am looking for a washer dryer combo, however i also want my clothes to be wrinkle free. Can you please tell me if i use its normal wash function with air dry, how much drying does it do? Whether this model is better than bosch washers?
Hi Sonam, glad it was useful! In general - use of a dryer will cause some wrinkling of clothes. It's bit lower in standalone dryers, higher in washer-dryer combos. This washer-dryer is a small one for a family of 2-3 (amzn.to/3taH7Md). The last I reviewed Bosch, it had a larger size. The specs of the latest ones look almost similar, but Samsung and LG have been doing better at washer dryers.
Hi Srihari, you can consider using a fabric conditioner. In a washer dryer, it also helps to reduce creasing. I'm using a tablet like this amzn.to/3PTv5CK instead of a combination of detergent and conditioner - that works well too
Awesome videos Mam !! I am looking for dryer part as lot of winters here and no sun. But don't want to buy dryer separately. I have few questions before buying this: 1. Can dryer be used for woollen clothes ? After selecting wool mode for wash and dry. How much time to dry woolen clothes ? 2. Review on LG FHD1057STB and Samsung:WD80T604DBX, although they are costlier than this but are they very good than this or worth investing ? 3. So wash + dry takes 5-6 hours ? Can it be optimized ? As I have small baby and need to wash clothes daily.
Hi Shweta - 1. Woolen clothes are generally not recommended in the washing machine and dryer as the wool can expand quite a bit. You could wash in the delicate wool cycle using a laundry bag but preferably air dry it 2. The models you have provided are of a much larger size and hence more expensive. I have made a video in what size washing machine / dryer you must purchase 3. You can reduce the drying time based on experience. Some viewers have said it can be done in less than 3 hours. I normally put it for wash at night so that by morning it is ready - esp if you wash everyday, this approach may work better for you
Thanks for the review! Helped me go for this one and happy with it! One thing I wanted to check, can liquid detergent be used in this? I dont seem to have the liquid container that is showing in the video on the left compartment.
Hi Gayathri, yes, can use liquid detergent. You will have 3 containers - leftmost one for detergent, middle one for fabric softener, right one for bleach (if required)
Hi mam , I saw u have used a tap filter , which is it ? Please share link . , Upon watching ur videos I bought a 8kg/6kg washer and dryer of Samsung . 👍
Thank you for your review. Can the temperature be increased on the drying mode? As I find, even putting 2 flat sheets in the machine for over 3hrs still come out not completely dry sometimes damp.
Hi, thank you for the informative video. The model in your link is WD80T604DBX which I guess is the currently available model. Would you recommend this Samsung over the Bosch 9/6kg machine?
Just suggestion, As you do review of many electrical apparatus, For calculating exact Electricity consumption You can buy private meter from market and use it as sub meter for that particular equipment only by connecting only that one equipment ,make this model from electrical repair shop
Hi Tanu, I agree :) That's a great idea and maybe I should get one for myself. It's just that not all users will have it, so I try to explain in a way they can calculate themselves.
Nice and precise information given well....I had a query. In the drying cycle there is lot of lint ie the fabric fibers near the door where it closes...any specific reason why? and also what can be done for the same
Great video, thanks for the info! What's the difference between WD70M4443JS & WD70M4443JW? As there seems to be a price difference of 6k between the two..
Thanks for this - I am using the Mexican version of this machine so desperately needed the details. What I really want to know - is there a DRY ONLY option on this.
hi saumya, I’ve never used a washer dryer or a tumble dryer before so I’m curious if the clothes get more crinkled or creased by tumble drying as opposed to drying on a clothes stand? thanks for the video!
Hi Dora, yes compared to clothes drying it does get wrinkled, mainly pure cotton clothes. Blended clothes are OK.. But to minimize that - it is recommended to remove the clothes from the washer as soon as the cycle is done and to use a softener.
Very comprehensive and well structured review! This Model is out of stock- can you suggest an alternative. Need a washer cum dryier (with 1005 drying).
Hi Sathyan, thank you :) Here is the model amzn.to/3taH7Md - it is ideal for a small family as the drying capacity is only 5 kg. You can also consider a slightly larger size for a larger family amzn.to/3FlM63K.
Hi thanks for making these videos..we are in the stage of looking for wash dry combo Wanted to know if you are happy with what you purchased and does it dry 100% clothes and how much time does a full cycle take. Any pro cons you can share will be very helpful. Thanks so much
Hi Krishita, yes, very happy. This video is actually the experience of that. It takes a long time though - in daily wash cycle - takes close to 6 hours. That is the biggest con - but I just leave it on at night when I run it. Yes it dries 100%. Clothes can get a little bit more crumpled compared to air drying.
Hello Saumya.. Thank you so much for the detailed video. I have a question with regards to this product’s placement..Since its a washer and dryer, is it required to place it near window or so? does it release hot air or smthing while or after drying process?
Hi Tejashree! It does not release hot air but it does get heated during the drying process. It's not required to place it near a window. You are required to give about 3cm gap on either side if you are doing a closet type installation.
Hi Saumya - thank you and i had bought their 10 kg wash dry option and the heating coil has given up thrice. I have a closet set up and the engineer says we need 1 feet distance from either side of the machine. I am not convinced though I loved the machine the maintainence has been a pain.. do you have closed space or is ur machine in an open are?
Hi! Yes you can! It does take a long time like I mentioned in the video, but it’s fully dry (as long as you don’t overload). Yes they do- here it is amzn.to/3FlM63K
hi, Thanks for all this information. Just one more thing that i need to know - Does it have a pause and load function? I see that most of the washing machines have it and not sure if washer dryer also come with that option?
Tq for the review. May i know what kind of detergent are you using as the sales rep told me to use low suds detergent. Couldn't really find low suds detergent around here.
Hi Saumya. I just happened to see this video since I am scouting for a washer dryer. Have you put up a video on the 8/6 samsung WD80T604DBX. I was interested in that since it would fit in the place I have. I must also compliment you for the way you present your videos. They are clear, crisp and very well covered. Moreover it suits me since we too are just two of us.
Hi Jayesh, no I have not presented that. I could do it, as it is now available in my parents house. But I have seen. the drying capability of that too, it is quite good. It is slightly bigger and more advanced than the one I use, the dimensions are available here amzn.to/3lUg7zo. Thanks for dropping a kind note :)
Hi, Thanks for comprehensive review. It was really excellent. I am planning to buy this product, have certain doubts. Will be really thankful if you can help me on this. When power cut , will it resume from the begining or from the point of power cut. Does it have voltage fluctuation protection? Will be really helpful if you can take out some time and clear my doubts. Thanks.
Hi Arvind, generally not, as the intense spin will expand the woolen clothes. Wool should br washed in delicate cycle without heat and dried flat preferably- to prevent expanding.
I just need to confirm that after washing we need to click on drying clothes option separately? And how much time it takes to completely dry the clothes?
Hello Saumya can I ask if you haven't got any major durability issues so far with this Samsung Washer Dryer? I'm about to buy one specifically the 11/7kg model with add wash I wanted to know from other peoples experience if this type of washer dryer would last for a long time without any issues.
@@TheGrapevineIndia awesome! thank you for the immediate response. Hopefully the one I'll buy would last that long as well, very excited to have my first washer dryer.
Hi Saumya, thanks for the great video. I’m exploring the option of a washer dryer combo. Need to understand if the dryer shrinks clothes. My family thinks all my clothes will shrink or expand if I use the dryer for full drying cycle.
Hi Sahil, thank you :) Some clothes (like pure cotton) could shrink. Blended or modern fabrics do not. It also does get more creased than air drying. But most people who have purchased it appreciate the convenience!
Hi @dek dek - you can select the default closet/cupboard dry mode that comes with each cycle. For example - in the daily wash mode, selecting cupboard dry takes about 5 hrs 50 min in the machine I use. I leave it on overnight.
Hi Sowmya. Thank you for giving a wonderful review. I purchased the same model few days back. Is there any option for wrinkle protection? Coudn find any option. Wash and dry is perfectly ok for me . But seeing the wrinkled clothes makes me sad. Any help on this issue will be highly appreciated. Sindu
Hi! You can reduce the temperature a bit, it does reduce wrinkles. Also remove the clothes from the dryer immediately after drying - the longer it stays in the dryer after the cycle, the more the wrinkles get settled. I also use a bit of fabric softener. Yes slightly more wrinkled than air drying, but some of these hints may help, I hope?
Hello, I want to know, how your pure cotton clothes are coming? Are they getting wrinkled? If not what options you are using for washing pure cotton clothes. Like cotton night gowns or cotton saris or cotton dresses. Would appreciate your response.
Hi Himansha - whether you use a separate dryer or a washer-dryer, clothes do get wrinkled more than air drying it. So yes, cotton clothes do get wrinkled. It will require ironing with water / steam to get rid of wrinkles.
Hi Shangareshwari! My shortlists are based on 1. Size - I was looking for a small sized one, 2. Reviews 3. Availability at time of review. I believe IFB did not have enough reviews to give good customer experiences and was a slightly larger size.
Hii Saumya.. thanks for your review. I have questions for you , does it have memory function in case of power failure ? and pause option if we wish to add more clothes ?
Hi Madhumati, Dr Indhu, I checked this again by starting at different times - it does remember but it restarts at the start of the ongoing cycle. So if it is in a rinse cycle, it will start at the beginning of that. If it is in the dry cycle, it restarts at the start of that cycle.
Thank you for the very informative video. I am deciding to buy between a regular washing machine and a washer/dryer. My main concern is the cost of the machine and power consumption. I have a small utility and have little space for air drying the clothes, though it's not exactly spacious. What do you suggest i should go for? Will washer/dryer make sense for my requirement? Will it consume considerate electricity compared to the regular one?
Hi Vivek! I highly recommend the washer/dryer. I was apprehensive too and was unsure if it will really dry completely - but works like a charm assuming you load the machine correctly. This Samsung model amzn.to/3taH7Md I use is quite cost effective one. Yes power consumption will increase due to heat for the drying cycle - I made this video to determine by how much th-cam.com/video/2qIdousbVQU/w-d-xo.html. Hope this helps to decide!
@@TheGrapevineIndia thank you for your reply. Just checked that video yesterday. Was also looking at LG models as they have direct drive technology. Any comments on that?
So can we just put the machine on the wash only mode, without the dryer? Thank you. I was on the wall, hanging around whether to go for it or not, after watching this video I booked it 😬
Hi Rithin, yes you can run only the wash mode. You can also select a lower drying time at a lower temperature too if you like. I’m glad you booked it, I’m loving it 😊
@@TheGrapevineIndia . I subscribed n I'm kinda binge watching your reviews. It's so helpful. Like I used to waste so many productive hours wasting on enquiring and comparing stuff. But nothing convinces like an unbiased review from someone who has used the product n with no affiliation to those manufacturers. Wish you success in your field
Hello, other than the laundry bag do you use any other accessories to wash the clothes, I was recommend wool balls and some plastic ones to reduce creases
Hi Sai durga, I mainly use the laundry bag that works well for me for delicates. I have been exploring some lint balls - but have not tried it yet. Will update once I do try.
Hi! Great Videos. I am planning to buy washer dryer. I had taken my Whirlphool front load from maharashtra to Bangalore. 20 years, Its all good but I am bored of less features and no dryer option - Bangalore needs it most. But same confusion. LG/Samsung JS/JW models. Also, these are non-AI models. Are 55k price AI model and 65K Add Wash model of same AI upgreade? Are they all worthy of paying 10to 15 k extra? At least, are they going to cause any issue. CAn you pls reply and help.
Hi Shweta, you are too kind 😊 So let me try to clarify. The Samsung JS/JW are the same - just different colors. The silver is priced higher than the white. This is probably the smallest and cheapest washer dryer (yes you get motorola and galanz, but they are not well known for this appliance). Coming to AI - in general AI will be useful to help you identify how much you have loaded your machine, when cleaning needs to be done, service and spares details, wash cycles, scheduling the cycles etc. most of these are nice to have but not essential in my opinion. If you are the type that selects a cycle and sticks to it (I’m like that and I believe over 90% users are like that☺️) , then really having all these advanced ai capabilities may not be essential. Hope this helps with your decision making
Hi Saumya. Thanks for the detailed video. I am considering to buy this machine. I wanted to know if we have an option to just use the dryer for 20 min or 30 min or set the time for drying based on our requirement and run it. Or else we will have to use the complete cycle for drying like cupboard dry or iron dry which goes on for 1.5 hours to 2 hours.
@@TheGrapevineIndia Thanks for the info. In my area it rains a lot during rainy season. So there will be moisture where ever we store the clothes. In this case the air wash works or we will need a full cycle of drying? In this case I wanted to know if we can use dryer for few mins.
Hi Avinash, Air wash is only for removing smells and sanitization of clothes you have stored for a while. While it does use hot air, the purpose is not for drying. It can remove the mouldy smells from clothes placed inside for a long time.
Hi... Is it working Good specially dryer? saw many reviews in flipkart this got some defect...pls clarify And how many clothes can I put for drying for complete dry
Hi Satan, it is working very well. You will not get 100% drying if you overload the washer-dryer. Although it is a 7-5kg, for full drying should not load more than 5kg - which is approx 25 shirts in one shot. You can find a video I made that talks about how much you should load for best performance s
Hi Sowmya, I have two doubts.. 1. Do we have to separate the clothes based on fabric in this machine ? Like cotton, synthetic, shiffon etc? Or is it okay to put everything together and it will dry perfectly? 2. How much increase have you noticed in the electricity and water consumption? By the way am I spelling your name correctly ? 🙂 Please let me know if I am writing it wrong. Thanks dear.
Hi! I spell it as Saumya but that’s ok 😊 1 -so cotton takes the longest to dry - so if you put others with cotton in a cotton dry cycle - they will all dry 2 - water consumption will go down as I switched from top load to front load - top load generally takes more. I can’t determine that as I stay in an apartment and there is no meter. Electricity bill for this month I haven’t got yet - but I expect it to go up by 400-500 rupees as the consumption is 4-5x of a washing machine without a dryer. Will update once I get it 😊
Thanks dear for the info. After seeing your videos I actually wish to buy 3 appliances AC, washer dryer and dishwasher. But already without these electricity bill touches 800 - 1000. Wondering if it will go off the roof if I buy all these three. 😳 Yeah please share some insights on this when u get ur bill. Thanks!
Hi! Agreed, these are all guzzlers of electricity. You may need to weigh convenience over cost. For example- you will probably save over 1.5 hours a day washing vessels and air drying clothes. That is about 45 hours a month. You also may not need a house help any more - so savings there too.
Hi, good video. Can you tell me what the washing capacity is for the gentle cycles are? Wool/Delicates/Baby Wear. The issue with my current washing machine is that a 6.5 Kg machine has only 2 kgs as the washing capacity for all the delicate cycles. This doesn't work for me and now I plan to upgrade to a Washer Dryer combo with min 5 Kg delicates washing capacity.
Hi Mahima, i had to go back and check about this and you are right - it does say max load 2-3kg for delicate and woollen. Frankly - I think that’s an overkill to only load 2kg. Infact even the daily wash it says 2kg max - which does not make sense at all to load 2kg in a 7-5 washer dryer. I don’t follow that rule. I load upto 5kg in daily wash and get good drying. So if you want to go by the rulebook - you may need to get one that is bigger like a 10-8 washer dryer(ehich is an overkill in my opinion)
I am considering this type of Combo unit, but I am wanting a more powerful drying system. They all seem to have great features, but take a LOOOONG time (some up to 6 hours) to start and complete a load of laundry. I'd like something that matches the washing and drying time of separate units.
Do these come with 220v? Do they come with a vented/ventless option? Do they have a way to do the maintainance without making a mess in the floor? What Brand or Model do you recommend that is a bit more robust, closer to a industrial version?
Hi! Yes, the time taken for a washer dryer is much longer - but based on the size you select and the number on clothes you put - the machine automatically adjusts the time. For example, in mine, the default for the full drying is 5hours50min - but more often than not, it is done within 4 hours. Same with this one amzn.to/3FlM63K that I have seen live in action. they don't make a mess on the floor. What size are you looking for? I recommend the Samsung - amzn.to/3FlM63K - select one based on your size preference. If you are looking for industrial - I recommend a separate dryer. These are more useful for home use.
Hey, HI.. was a real crisp explanation there.. since its over 9 months, could you give your inputs of WD70M4443JS vs WD80T604DBX? Thanks in advance.. Regards, VJ
Iam just curious to know whether the humidity around the machine affects the drying process or not. I live just 26km away from Agumbe (one of the higest rainfall area in KA) where the rain showers 24x7 during rainy season. So this is a matter of concern to me. Thanks in advance, fan of your videos.
Hi Kartik, you live in such a scenic place!! good question. I kindof guessed the answer but this website confirmed. Over time, humidity does affect electronics and cause corrosion and rust. There are a few solutions highlighted here. Also since temperatures in Agumbe are not too high, you ‘may’ be ok. Have you had issues with other equipment?! It would not be very different for this one in my opinion. Here is the website www.ers-us.com/is-humidity-bad-for-your-electronics/
@@TheGrapevineIndia The greenary here is a nature's blessing. Absolutely no issues with indoor equipments, but outdoor equipment definitely attractive rust and other (humidity related) issues if the equipment is not stored very well (which is usually difficult as rain hits from all the direction with strong wind). Well Saumya my primary focus is on drying clothes (as air drying here in rainy season can take upto 2 to 3 days). I hope the environmental conditions that I live in may hamper 100% drying. Well I have plans to buy a Bosch 1400rpm washer dryer, I will come back to drop the review.
Hi Kartik! Thanks for sharing 😊 It’s so beautiful- I’ve been to Agumbe before! Also been to Cherrapunji - which has the highest rainfall in India! Looking forward to your review of the Bosch! Knowing Bosch products, it’s gonna be awesome 👏
Thanks Saumya, We bought this machine after seeing your review, this 7/5 combo suits our requirement. Please could you clarify below ? 1) I am using Daily wash (1:15) + dryer (default 4:30 hrs I think) for 5kg, but user manual says Daily wash program can use max of 2 kg only. Will it be overkill for the machine? How is it going for you ? I am feeling now that I would have chosen AI machines. The cotton only program only allows max. 2) Can we use Air Wash for silk sarees? 3) Not able to choose EcoBubble wash (Options) under Daily wash program, would it be the case for you as well?
Hi! See my answers below - 1. No no, daily wash you can be upto 5kg if you want to dry 100%. If only wash, then upto 7kg. It's not overkill at all for the machine. The 2kg limit is for the 59min cycle and that too - synthetics only. 2. Yes you can. I also frequently use air wash for blankets. 3. I have not tried EcoBubble - let me check this and get back to you.
Very Nice Video..Well Explained!👍👍 I had some doubts.. 1)For 5kg of clothes..considering only drying time after washing cycle...does it take 5 1/2 hours? 😦 I have seen reviews where people mention drying time of 2 1/2 hours.. 2) If i only use it as a washer..still will it consume more electricity like 5kwh ? 3) I have also seen reviews mentioning poor quality of material as it's cheap..and that it vibrates a lot..Is it?
Hi Deval! Thank you😊Re: your questions: 1. Yes in a washer dryer, it does take that long. If it is cotton only - takes longer. So the wash cycle is a bit over 1 hour and then the dry cycle is the remaining. If you buy a dryer only (separate device) the time is much lower. 2. No, washer consumes barely 1-1.5kwh. Actually in my latest video th-cam.com/video/2qIdousbVQU/w-d-xo.html on how much electricity does a washer dryer consume - I had a table breaking it down. Then thought it was too nerdy and removed it :D 3. I had seen that review too - I think they were referring to the detergent container. It is made of plastic as opposed to the rest of the body, I don't see an issue with that. It does not make noise. And normally front load washing machines will vibrate more than top load - but it is negligible noise and vibration. It is recommended .not to keep it on a stand or use a stand that is specially designed for front load machines. Hope this clarifies!
Hi Saumya.. thanks for the detailed information.. i had a query.. lets say if i load the machine fully .i.e. upto 8kg then after the wash cycle is completed can i remove some clothes to make it about 6kg.. or what is the drying option in that case...
Hi Sneha! Yes you can do that. This happened to me once when I had put two bedspreads and a throw and it turned out the weight was too much for drying. I got an error and then removed the throw from the machine. Drying went fine after that.
Hi Mam, I heard from the sales guy that all washer + dryer washing machines only dry till 95% and produce a smell if put in the cupboard directly, without ironing or sundrying, but based on your review I went ahead and bought the Samsung washer + dryer model. Can you please clarify if the statement by that sales guy is right?
Hi Chandrakanth Narayanabhatla! That is not correct. It does dry 100%. Sometimes if you overload, it may not dry 100%, but you can fix that by running an air wash cycle in the washer-dryer which will completely dry it. You will get a smell only if the clothes are wet.
Hi Saumya, bought same model of samsung 7/5kg after seeing your review however i ran 59 mins cycle for one towel, it didn't dry it completely, cloth came out hot and machine was also quite hot. Is this same for you?
Hi Bhagyashree! 59 min cycle is for synthetics only. Does not work for cotton with drying. For cotton, have to run the full cycle - takes about 5.5 hours. Yes when clothes come out of the dryer, it will be hot. Best to take out the clothes right after the cycle to minimize wrinkles. Also - make sure not to load more than 5kg for full drying (approx 3/4th of the tub)
@@TheGrapevineIndia ohh okay. Well Engineer visited for Demo suggested to use Towel and started 59 minutes cycle. I found your video and review useful than Samsung support team. Thank you so much for response.
Hi Vaibhav, if you are talking about the machine I speak in this video - you don't need to move clothes as this is a washer-dryer (single machine for washing and drying). If you are using a separate dryer - no need to dry clothes first, you can put it in the dryer directly after wash.
Hi Bi Han, some people have reported that issue with standalone dryers (esp with denim pants). I have not faced it in this one. Pure cotton clothes do get crumpled, mixed fabrics are better.
Hello Saumya recently I have visited almost every brand store for Washer dryer and i m confused what to buy Between SAMSUNG / LG / IFB / BOSCH Also confused for which machine is good for hard water
Hi Manoj, you can go for Samsung or LG. My parents also recently bought this one amzn.to/3FlM63K on my recommendation and like it a lot. If very hard, recommend to get a water softener prior to the washing machine.
Hi Niraj, you can, if the instructions on the pillow allow for it. You can use your regular detergent, make sure you air dry it a bit in case the inside of the pillow is not completely dry.
Hi Saisagar, in this as well, the wash only cycle can be less than an hour. This model also has a wash+dry cycle for a small quantity of synthetic clothes of less than 1 hour. However, with full cotton drying - it is longer as described.
I too am looking to buy the Washer Dryer and this product also seems quite budget friendly but can you please suggest on possible compromises made to keep the product cost down cause on average these things come for at least 65-70K and I had almost made my mind to buy the IFB machine. Any negatives or quality issues, stain removal issues to perfectly understand the product before buying.
Hi Rishab, so far, I have not seen any compromises to cleaning quality. Yes, this is one of the budget ones - but in general 65-70k ones are typically larger sizes (larger washing/drying capacity). When I was purchasing - the only review I saw that was negative was on the quality of the detergent container. It is a bit plasticky - but not too bad. Make sure you buy the right size for your family based on the drying capacity - as this consumes significant power and running more cycles will dent your electricity bill :)
@@TheGrapevineIndia I have come back with yet another question, I saw this video mentioning about shrinkage when using dryer, does it really happen and to what extent, should I buy +1 size clothes, it would be wonderful if you can put a video explaining that
Dropped in to see how true the review is as I am new to the Channel.
Been using thia product for about 2 and a half years, I can vouch everything said is legit.
Yay awesome!
Your brief information about the washing machine with drier is very informative for those who wanted to select the washer and drier machine . Thanks for sharing your experience.
Hi Krishh, glad you found it useful! I currently love the washer dryer and wonder why I did not switch earlier.
This has helped me in making a choice. Thanks for that.
I hope all the reviews I watch are detailed in short and organised in content as this.

Hi Hitesh Basera! One of these two depending on the size you want (they stopped making this size I use ) - amzn.to/3FlM63K or amzn.to/3GiOjQO
We bought samsung washer dryer after seeing this review. Your reviews are excellent.
Thank you so much!
I am a mechanical engineer and as soon as I watched the 1st & 2nd video about washing machines, I said to my self this can't be right, I am not used to get all the information I wanted in one video, usually it takes me a lot videos and google searches (jumping from video to video & article to article) to
get this information.
Sis You r replying to everyone, that is rare and great👍👍😊
I wanted to ask that only colour is different in the 2 modes of this machine??
Hi Yash, thank you 😊 yes! the only difference is color - white is lower priced than silver.
@@TheGrapevineIndia Thanks didi🙏🏻
Finally the review I needed!! Thanks so much.
1 question: would you say that this capacity is sufficient for a family of 3 or higher load capacity.
Hi John, if you wash daily - it would suffice for a family of 3 as the max you can load for full drying is 5kg. If you prefer to wash once in 2-3 days, I recommend a larger size.
Hi Saumya,
Good day. I have seen quite a few of your videos regarding washer-dryer and want to thank you very much for the details. I recently bought a Samsung washer-dryer. I wanted to know how we can maintain the health of the machine.
Eg:
1. Cleaning any filters?
2. Adding any hard water softener? (is it required)
3. Anything else that you follow?
It would be of a great help to me if you could give a few tips regarding usual maintenance. Not sure if you have already posted a video for the same. If yes, kindly share the link. Looking forward for your reply.
Thanks.
Hi @Gondi Sharan, yes! I made a video covering this topic here th-cam.com/video/YPoU6qat9k0/w-d-xo.html
I have almost made up my mind to buy this model after seeing your video. Thankyou for the detailed explanation.
Hi Kishor! Glad you found it useful 😊
@@TheGrapevineIndia i am very satisfied with the performance of this machine. Only thing that concern me is the sound during the spin cycle. It's very loud. Are you also facing this?
Hi Kishor, yeah in general front loads can be loud during the spin cycle. I bought something for that, will try it out and let you know if it works
@@TheGrapevineIndia Sure Thankyou. Please let me know
@@TheGrapevineIndia Did you try out the way to reduce vibration/noise?
Very well explained. Thank you. What is the shortest possible time I can get clothes done along with drying?
Hi Syeda, synthetics wash faster. Also there is a 1 hour wash+dry cycle for very few clothes (like 3-4 only). But that may be for synthetics only.
@@TheGrapevineIndia thank you for the info
Thanks for the very informative video. And your keynote presentation in kubecon was very good.
Hi Anusha! Thank you 😊😁
Very detailed and precise review, really helpful in making a buying decision, appreciate it!
Hi Siddharth! Glad you found it useful!
Very nice informative video ... have a question... are the clothes wrinkled after we use the full dry option...
Hi Ashish! It is definitely more wrinkled than air drying. If it is taken out from the machine immediately after wash and folded - the creases are lower. if you leave it in the machine for too long - then the creases get set and appear quite wrinkled.
Good review. I am looking for a Washer Dryer . LG have Direct drive and Samsung doesn't have that i think. Which one you recognise ?
Hi Aslam, Direct Drive is just an LG terminology - it helps make the washing machine have lesser vibration and sound. The Samsung one also has a digital inverter tech - which makes it quieter than earlier generation ones. I use the Samsung washer dryer and I have family that uses LG washer dryer - both give equivalent performance of 100% drying.
I was more into LG, now that you told that both have same performance it's a no brainer now. Also can we expect any sale now?
Hi... i m planning to buy washer n drying... the time you made this vdo was lesser of abt 2,3 weeks usage, so i want to ask now after a year... are you satisfy with this samsung product or any drawback you faced...
Plz suggest wch brand i go for as i want to buy washer+dryer
Hi Prachi, it's really good. I'm still using it. Pure cotton clothes do get a bit more crumpled and could shrink - I have barely faced that maybe with 1 or 2 of my clothes though.
We just got our washer and dryer today and I was looking up demo videos for the same. Found this very very helpful! Thank you so much 😁
Yay! Which one did you buy, Aarushi? Frankly - I’m still so excited about it.
I'm sorry for seeing this so late! I bought the same samsung one, it's been 2 months and we're loving it so far! It even gets rid of all our doggo's hair 🥺 Literally the best investment 😁 So far the only downside is that scent beads don't work due to the dryer cycle but I'm not too mad about that 🤭
That’s great! Thanks for sharing Aarushi!

Hi Kaylin! It's a great addition, wish I had purchased it earlier :)
Thank you for enlightening us with the detailed video.
Since you have done market study I need a suggestion Samsung or LG to go for washer dryer?
Hi Afreen, what size are you looking for? In the smaller size, Samsung may be your only option (ai use this model amzn.to/3taH7Md). Samsung in general seems to be better for washer dryers - has equivalent or better specs than LG and definitely better customer feedback - including me. Very happy with my purchase. Let me know which size and may be able to guide you better
Nice video! Our water pressure is really low. Will it work for us?
Hi Rakesh, depending on your model, washing machines require atleast 20psi or you may get failure while filling the tank. If you are already using a washing machine with the same pressure, same should work for this one too
@@TheGrapevineIndia Thank you!
Long term review?. I m planning to go for this Samsung 7kg/5kg washer dryer. Worth it?
Hi Karthikhaeyan, still going strong :) As long as we don't overload more than 5kgs, drying is brilliant.
Congratulations on your new washer-dryer.
True. Yeah we are under lockdown too. It’s pretty bad. We are staying in completely. Thanks, and stay safe too!
@@TheGrapevineIndia Thankyou so much.! Have a great day!😀
Where did you get it from? This model is out of stock in all e-commerce sites.
@@TheGrapevineIndia Hi may I ask if the drain pump is turned on while drying?
Very detailed explanation sissy . I just wanna know about the electricity consumption per 1 wash and dry..?
You can get them separately and stack them on top of each other. I did that and it works like a charm.
Which dryer did you get? Can you let me know about the price and other details
Thanks for sharing the video. One q: is there any way to have a fresh odour to clothes after the dryer cycle
I have few questions before buying this:
Hi Shweta -
1. Woolen clothes are generally not recommended in the washing machine and dryer as the wool can expand quite a bit. You could wash in the delicate wool cycle using a laundry bag but preferably air dry it
2. The models you have provided are of a much larger size and hence more expensive. I have made a video in what size washing machine / dryer you must purchase
3. You can reduce the drying time based on experience. Some viewers have said it can be done in less than 3 hours. I normally put it for wash at night so that by morning it is ready - esp if you wash everyday, this approach may work better for you
Very nice explanation!!! Will the machine auto resume post power cut or any manual intervention is required
Hi Amrutha, no manual intervention is required. It will resume. Thanks 😊
Thank you for confirming this booking this machine today 😃
Awesome, let me know how it goes 😊
Thanks for the review! Helped me go for this one and happy with it! One thing I wanted to check, can liquid detergent be used in this? I dont seem to have the liquid container that is showing in the video on the left compartment.
Hi Gayathri, yes, can use liquid detergent. You will have 3 containers - leftmost one for detergent, middle one for fabric softener, right one for bleach (if required)
Love your videos Saumya! I have been an ardent user of standalone dryer for years, wanted a comment on if the combos shrink clothes as well?
Hi Akshay, yes same with the combos - mainly for pure cotton clothes.
Does it need to have a ventilation provision or does it need to be kept in well ventilated area??

Thank you for your review. Can the temperature be increased on the drying mode? As I find, even putting 2 flat sheets in the machine for over 3hrs still come out not completely dry sometimes damp.
When that happens, I run a short 30 min or so drying cycle only. Comes out fully dry.
Hi, thank you for the informative video. The model in your link is WD80T604DBX which I guess is the currently available model. Would you recommend this Samsung over the Bosch 9/6kg machine?
Hi Kiran - this is the model amzn.to/3FlM63K I'm recommending. Yes, over the Bosch model too.
Just suggestion,
As you do review of many electrical apparatus, For calculating exact Electricity consumption You can buy private meter from market and use it as sub meter for that particular equipment only by connecting only that one equipment ,make this model from electrical repair shop
Hi Tanu, I agree :) That's a great idea and maybe I should get one for myself. It's just that not all users will have it, so I try to explain in a way they can calculate themselves.
Nice and precise information given well....I had a query. In the drying cycle there is lot of lint ie the fabric fibers near the door where it closes...any specific reason why? and also what can be done for the same
Hi Trupti, lint is fairly common in front load machines. You have to clean under your lint compartment and the rubber gasket frequently.

hi saumya, I’ve never used a washer dryer or a tumble dryer before so I’m curious if the clothes get more crinkled or creased by tumble drying as opposed to drying on a clothes stand? thanks for the video!
Hi Dora, yes compared to clothes drying it does get wrinkled, mainly pure cotton clothes. Blended clothes are OK.. But to minimize that - it is recommended to remove the clothes from the washer as soon as the cycle is done and to use a softener.

Also, is dryer effective for wollen cloths?
Hi Arvind, generally not, as the intense spin will expand the woolen clothes. Wool should br washed in delicate cycle without heat and dried flat preferably- to prevent expanding.
I just need to confirm that after washing we need to click on drying clothes option separately? And how much time it takes to completely dry the clothes?

Hi Saumya, thanks for the great video. I’m
exploring the option of a washer dryer combo.
Hi mam. How many hours should i set before i get a 100% dry? Or maybe put the drying time in auto mode? Which one would you suggest? Thanks
Hi @dek dek - you can select the default closet/cupboard dry mode that comes with each cycle. For example - in the daily wash mode, selecting cupboard dry takes about 5 hrs 50 min in the machine I use. I leave it on overnight.

@@TheGrapevineIndia thank you. Shall give a try

Hi Madhumati! Thanks :) yes it does remember and no can’t add more clothes mid cycle - it gets locked.
Thanks for quick reply. That means machine starts where it has left before power failure.

I love the reason - aesthetics. That Lamp, photo, plant...and you...shiny skin...all is so beautiful ..shows ur enthu for life.
Hi Avinash, yes you can select the dry time as per your need. But in my experience - the complete cycle gives the best drying.
@@TheGrapevineIndia Thanks Saumya for all the clarification. 😊
Thanks very informative.Any idea what is the difference between the two samsung models. There is a price diff of about 7-8K .
Hi Paritosh, just color difference, no difference in specifications.
Hi... Is it working Good specially dryer? saw many reviews in flipkart this got some defect...pls clarify
And how many clothes can I put for drying for complete dry
Hi Satan, it is working very well. You will not get 100% drying if you overload the washer-dryer. Although it is a 7-5kg, for full drying should not load more than 5kg - which is approx 25 shirts in one shot. You can find a video I made that talks about how much you should load for best performance s
This is the video th-cam.com/video/NjvPKPCCD7k/w-d-xo.html
@@TheGrapevineIndia thanks for the reply....I have watched tat video ❤️❤️❤️...u doing a great job. ❤️🔥🔥 So I ll go-ahead and buy tat....😎
Hi! I spell it as Saumya but that’s ok 😊
1 -so cotton takes the longest to dry - so if you put others with cotton in a cotton dry cycle - they will all dry
2 - water consumption will go down as I switched from top load to front load - top load generally takes more.
Thanks
@@TheGrapevineIndia thanks, this is very helpful.
Regards, VJ
Hi Vijay, amzn.to/3r3Dlqu this is a slightly more advanced and slightly larger size compared to the other one. Features remain almost the same.
Hi! See my answers below -
Beautifully explained, Thank you🙏
Very Nice Video..Well Explained!👍👍
I had some doubts..
1)For 5kg of clothes..considering only drying time after washing cycle...does it take 5 1/2 hours? 😦
I have seen reviews where people mention drying time of 2 1/2 hours..
2) If i only use it as a washer..still will it consume more electricity like 5kwh ?
3) I have also seen reviews mentioning poor quality of material as it's cheap..and that it vibrates a lot..Is it?
Hi Deval! Thank you😊Re: your questions:
Then thought it was too nerdy and removed it :D
@@TheGrapevineIndia Thank You So Much!! ☺️
Plzzz show a demo....is this necessary 2 select temperature n wash time manually
Hi Ghazala, temperature and wash time gets selected automatically based on the cycle you select. You can change the temperature if you require.
Hi Saumya.. thanks for the detailed information.. i had a query.. lets say if i load the machine fully .i.e. upto 8kg then after the wash cycle is completed can i remove some clothes to make it about 6kg.. or what is the drying option in that case...
Thank you for your clarification
Great!
Wow thanks for the details learn a few things from the video.
Hi Mam.What is difference between WD70M4443JS/WD70M4443JW. The price difference is around 5k but there is no differnece in specifications
Hi Siddharth! It’s just the color. No difference in specifications 🙊
Please do a review of a good compact dough kneader in stainless steel, not non stick
Hi Maya, sure will plan for that!
After washing of the clothes can we put them directly in a dryer or we have to dry little then use it ?
Hi Vaibhav, if you are talking about the machine I speak in this video - you don't need to move clothes as this is a washer-dryer (single machine for washing and drying). If you are using a separate dryer - no need to dry clothes first, you can put it in the dryer directly after wash.
Hi.. nice video..
Planning go buy Hafle 8 kg / 6 kg washer dryer... can you please comment.. price I am getting is 65000 .. thanks in advance
Does the dryer shrink clothes in the long run?
Hi Bi Han, some people have reported that issue with standalone dryers (esp with denim pants). I have not faced it in this one. Pure cotton clothes do get crumpled, mixed fabrics are better.
Hello Saumya recently I have visited almost every brand store for Washer dryer and i m confused what to buy Between SAMSUNG / LG / IFB / BOSCH
Also confused for which machine is good for hard water
Hi Manoj, you can go for Samsung or LG. My parents also recently bought this one amzn.to/3FlM63K on my recommendation and like it a lot. If very hard, recommend to get a water softener prior to the washing machine.
Can we wash pillow samsung washer dryer machine? Pls advice and if yes, do we need to use detergent or particular liquid substance?
Hi Niraj, you can, if the instructions on the pillow allow for it. You can use your regular detergent, make sure you air dry it a bit in case the inside of the pillow is not completely dry.
@@TheGrapevineIndia Thank you for your quick response
In comparison with bosch 6 series which seems to complete cycle in 1 hour do you still recommend this?
Hi Saisagar, in this as well, the wash only cycle can be less than an hour. This model also has a wash+dry cycle for a small quantity of synthetic clothes of less than 1 hour. However, with full cotton drying - it is longer as described.
Hey, I badly need your one year review of this washing machine… please upload it soon 🔜
Hi Shivam, I will plan for this soon. But in short - still love it :)
I am using LG washer dryer. Clothes smells odour if we use the dryer. Electric smells or odour. What will be the reason?
@@TheGrapevineIndia Thanks a lot for the update, Capacity is not an issue for me right now.
@@TheGrapevineIndia I have come back with yet another question, I saw this video mentioning about shrinkage when using dryer, does it really happen and to what extent, should I buy +1 size clothes, it would be wonderful if you can put a video explaining that
Hi Rishab, so far I have not seen that. I have seen people mentioning it specifically about denim.
