I have one of those hand vacs for my rat's cage, makes my life so much easier for their poopsies and saves my back from pain. I have two male rats in a DCN cage tier 2. Had the cage since 2014 when I had my first mischief is female rats. But yes, the hand vacuum is like a magical tool for us for cleaning LOL! I line their cage with just fleece and sew my own liners

you should try putting a smaller piece of fleece right under the water bottles!! it really helps with absorbing and helps with any grossness/ staining!! :) looooove the guinea content

For my fleece liners I use reusable fleece puppy pee pads. With plain fleece on top
