I have one of those hand vacs for my rat's cage, makes my life so much easier for their poopsies and saves my back from pain. I have two male rats in a DCN cage tier 2. Had the cage since 2014 when I had my first mischief is female rats. But yes, the hand vacuum is like a magical tool for us for cleaning LOL! I line their cage with just fleece and sew my own liners
Same I really want guinea pigs again but I don’t think I’m aloud since my other guinea pigs I didn’t take care of properly because my parents told me they are just animals and don’t need money spent on them and I would still spend money on them but I didn’t have good enough care 😭

you should try putting a smaller piece of fleece right under the water bottles!! it really helps with absorbing and helps with any grossness/ staining!! :) looooove the guinea content

Are your pigs under 6 months? If so, I recommend giving them young guinea pig pellets from Oxbow. It has alfalfa , which will help them grow. After 6 months, they should eat the adult kind.
It would be better to have the food bowl away from the litter tray as they need to eat hay whilst pooping and they might poop in the bowl. Love your videos btw can’t wait for the next one!
honestly id get rid of the litter boxes and put the hay in a rack instead, or the guineadad hay box thing. whatever litter training youre doing isnt working and itll make cleanup so much easier for you :)
