You should look into using a tab and slot style of design. If you add a little tab to each end of the large bracket and an equivalent slot to the smaller brackets the pieces will just key together. It eliminates a lot of the guess work/fiddling to get the pieces aligned correctly. When looking at tab and slot timewise, it does take a bit longer on the plasma as your toolpaths will be slightly longer and extra slots to cutout; but, you should save more than that back in weld fixturing time.

hey man you should look into using V-Carve for layout on your plasma. it has nesting functions built in, not sure what you use now but if it doesn't have that then think about switching. you probably could've squeezed our a 2-3 more brackets out of your sheets using the proper nesting technique
Foot rails are generally made from tube, not pipe- the idea being that tube is in OD and pipe is in ID sizes- which allows you to cut all of your saddles out of pipe section, simplifying your bracket setup and design.
Seriously impressed with the framing square for circle drip cutting! Love it! I would love to learn about your pricing approach with a project like this. I understand if you prefer to keep that private.
I binged through your workshop remodel this past week.... plus the yard sculpure helix tree.... LOVED that wrench you bent and put in the lower part of the ribbon.... I keep forgetting what those were used for... Alternators ? Best part.... homeowner can always go out with a torch, and borrow tools needed for a project, then weld 'em back when done!

Hey bud, your 85amp consumable should work from 105-45 amps and below.; no need to switch them out. Also, i am curious about the glasses you got with the side protection. I have always had the issue of finding safety glasses to fit over my glasses ( usually Raybans) So I tend towards face shields when they aren't always necessary. Any info would be greatly appreciated. :)
My shop sabre was doing the same thing with the head not detecting. I ended up taking a point file and running it in the red butt connector for the ring.
just finding your channel, do you have any videos showing how the Sabre finds your metal, if the piece you are throwing up on the table is oddly shaped. how does the machine know if the plate doesn't already have holes in it if its a used piece
Could you have nested the mounting plates inside the negative spaces you had on the main bracket piece? That way you could cut down on wasted material.
What you have their server is tubing not schedule 40 pipe, tubing is measured on the OD schedule 40 or any kind of pipe that carries water, oil or gas is measured from the ID....just sayin.
your setup for the brackets is much to hard just juse the corner of jour table ! look up for siegmund tables this is wat we use in europe they are expensive but so useful with al the tools that are available
Most cad packages can do math expressions inside the dialog boxes so it's really easy to put " 1.9"/2" and I make a habit of that in solidworks, especially if you need to divide by five or seven or thirteen for something like columns or stair treads. It's a great shorthand trick, you just have to make sure you don't enter "1-1/2"" because then you get 1/2" instead of inch and a half, formatting is important.

Can you input an irregularly shaped drop and have V carve nest parts to that?

Should be said, that isn't pipe that is tubing. Pipe is ID and an end like that would be hard to do! Love you're vids

should’ve put the tabs in the cut out material that way you’re not wasting space
You might want to try an .065 wall tubing instead of schedule 40. Cuts faster and easier to fabricate.

It's tube not pipe. Pipe is measured on I.D. Tube measured on O.D.
Except he used pipe- look at the section, also why he has that wonky 1.9" exterior dimension, it's 1-1/2" sch 40 pipe.
