I absolutely adore the lyrics to this short song. "Always falling and rising" is brilliant. Most writers would have ended it with "rising and falling," but that is symbolic of the fact that we fall and THEN we RISE. Such a positive and hopeful lyric. Another part I adore is how she will carry her grandmother with her. Love these brilliant words and how inspiring they are!!!

Same my gramma was always my biggest supporter and even if I did something wrong she would say stuff like I’m your dads mum I don’t have to tell him anything ❤❤❤ eveytime I hear this it’s like hearing her voice tell me you’re gonna be okay honey
For me this movie is up there with Lion King, I'm so glad Disney did not disappoint. I literally kept going to the movie theater just to watch this again and again and would have the same reaction from watching it for the first time.
I got all teary eyed when her grandmother passed and became a ray... it was a double whammy because I loved her character and I find manta rays to be incredibly beautiful and amazing... damn it Disney.
I bawled like a child when I saw that. It was such a primal, honest moment. It's something our grandmothers would do....transformed into the everlasting, to follow us and protect us.
When she screamed out "I am Moana", the entire theater stood up and started cheering and people were screaming "YES GIRL YOU ARE MOANA!" and honestly watching this in the theater was just a fantastic experience.
Taylor Allen There weren't many people in the theatre, but all of my family actually held our hands together and we clapped when she said, "I am MOANA!" We were all crying ;U;
has anyone else noticed HOW she actually finds her voice and realises who she IS? Auli'i begins singing quietly, like she's whispering and gradually gets louder and louder until she's practically shouting her name! Magical. Powerful...and very clever. :)
SiennaBenna X I think it's not Auli'l i think its another singer.. I'm a filipino and i know Janella Salvadors voice and i think its her pure voice i also think her voice was mixed on "how far i'll go" this only my suggestion that i think its Janella Salvador...
Zero Fox well in the "religion" of maori and/or the faith of native americans, yoz actually have an inner female and an inner male. Everyone has that, and it is up to you to make them grow side by side instead of empowering one for the other. So, this basically brought you balance :)
Especially in the middle of this song, it reminds me of Hurricanes "I'll write my way out". Gosh, I totally love the whole soundrack here thought, its amazing. Especially the Polynesian(?) chorus.
This is why I love Disney, many reasons for that but one thing I love them for especially is for how they make old woman (Grandmother Willow and Grandmother Fa to name a couple) and horses Khan, Samson to name a couple) as they alway tend to be amazing characters.
So I was adopted as a child. I never knew my nationality. I found that I’m Native American. I’m Tlingit, being drawn to the water and ocean made sense suddenly. This song hits me hard because it’s not just my ancestors, but me too. I could feel the call.
As one Native American to another, I envy you having a Native American name. My great great grandma was a peogressive. She was willing to abandon all of our ways to fit in with the whites. She even punished ny Great Grandma for having an indian accent. Therefore, I never got a Native American name. Neither did my Great Grandma. But my name in American is just as good. Cadence, with means rhythm. And my middle name is Rain! My name might as well mean Rhythm of the Rain, if I were given a Native American name. Its fitting, since I do everything at my own rhythm and I love the rain and just water in general
The stingray appearing had me holding back tears but when Moana started singing I just could not control it anymore. Especially when she sang "I am Moana!"
I went to watch Moana with prejudices but came out completely mind-blown. The story, the voice actors, the music, the character developments, the twist on the ending, the out-of-this-world animation. It was an experience anyone of any age should experience. Disney had made a new classic. And I am glad to be able to witness this on my lifetime.
Jay.ok Auli did an excellent job at the start of the song. Her voice was full of doubts, it was explicit how she was finding her true self with the tone of her voice. And as she started to traced her lineage, her desire, her quest. Her voice started to gain conviction, strength and power. What is lacking for me is that, Auli doesn't have enough vocal prowess to carry the true strength of this song. She had a hard time singing the most powerful part. If only she had more time to train. It will be 10/10, now it's 9/10 for me.
Wow, that totally skipped my mind. Thank you. I have new appreciations towards her voice now. It does fit with the story to not have a voice too developed
I'm a grown woman and this song always makes me cry without fail every time I hear it. The words are so empowering and meaningful. This song inspires me to take ownership of my past, my scars and my voice. It inspires pride in my ancestors' struggles in my country and what they went through to get me here, pride in everything I've learned and accomplished thus far. It inspires appreciation of those I have lost or burned bridges with along the way. And confidence in carving my own path and trusting my decisions.
The fact that this is a 14 year old girl just blows my mind! (Yes I realize that she is 16 now but during recording she was 14. She only turned 16 a week before the movie premiered)
I am from Tahiti and the fact that we finally have the movie in Moana's native languages which is mine as well is Amazaing! Our elders who only speak Tahitian could watch the movie with us, it was so emotional and beautiful... Thanks Disney!
I'm a twenty nine year old man and every time I listen to her grandma sing and teaches how life can hard and difficult to deal with, especially when a person hurts your feelings, I automatically begin to cry! That part really speaks to me because my grandmother died a few years back, and listening to this song reminds me of all the love and affection that she showed to me and the rest of my family, so I have a real, heartfelt connection to this scene. I also love how Moana finally discovers just who she really is and that she is just herself. Man, I gotta whatcha this again on Disney plus again! Haven't seen it in a while.
I know a girl from an island She stands apart from the crowd She loves the sea and her people She makes her whole family proud Sometimes the world seems against you The journey may leave a scar But scars can heal and reveal just Where you are The people you love will change you The things you have learned will guide you And nothing on earth can silence The quiet voice still inside you And when that voice starts to whisper Moana, you've come so far Moana, listen Do you know who you are? Who am I? I am a girl who loves my island I'm the girl who loves the sea It calls me I am the daughter of the village chief We are descended from voyagers Who found their way across the world They call me I've delivered us to where we are I have journeyed farther I am everything I've learned and more Still it calls me And the call isn't out there at all, it's inside me It's like the tide; always falling and rising I will carry you here in my heart you'll remind me That come what may I know the way I am Moana
Time I've gotten chills from a Disney movie: the opening theme of Hunchback of Notre Dame, Mufasa saying "remember who you are", and Moana finding her way in this song.
AshalyAMVgirl what are you, an alto? Because I am too, and the range isn't that hard with this song. A lot Moana's songs don't require soprano voicing.
I won't lie, the parts with her grandmother made me cry... maybe because I lost my grandmother a couple years ago... Her connection with her grandmother is so... I can't even put it into words; This movie is so powerful, much more than I originally thought it would be.
Same. This movie reminded me just how much I miss my grandma and I've cried every time I watch it. That's part of why I love it, though; it's a reminder that even though she's gone, she'll always be with you.
I am a HUGE Disney fan. I got to experience the first Disney Renaissance as a little girl, and I grew up to truly appreciate The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, and (especially) The Lion King. I have believed The Lion King to be the best animated motion picture ever made for most of my childhood. When Disney took a dive in the late 90s early 00s, I waited and waited for them to bring the magic back. The movies were still good, but not Lion King good. Then Princess and the Frog came back, and I wondered if it was the start of something good. Then Rapunzel was released, and it felt like the old Disney. Then Frozen, which many of the critics believed to be the movie that knocked Lion King off its pedestal. Then Big Hero 6, which was fantastic. And tonight, after waiting most of my life, I saw Disney take a HUGE leap forward. This movie... Moana... it truly is the best animated movie since The Lion King. And I cannot believe that I am having the honor of witnessing yet another Disney Renaissance. Can't wait to see what they release next.
What I love most about fairy tales and animated movies is how much they teach us about ourselves. They don't hide the harsh realities of life, they show us we're strong enough to deal with them. That we shouldn't give up, no matter what. That, as hard as it gets, we have to follow our heart. It's beautiful. My favorite part: "And the call isn't out there at all, it's inside me."
I agree. It was waaaaay more potential than Frozen tbh. Not because I hate Frozen (I just got tired of it, but can tolerate a musical). This has a much potential as The Lion King or Beauty and the Beast. I hope they consider it!
Moana finally realized why the ocean choose her. When Moana shout out her own name, she became powerful and realized that she can restore the heart of Te-fiti herself.
Nuh uh You toootalllyyy misinterpreted the actual meaning of the song. Moana STILL isn't sure why the Ocean chose HER at THIS point of the story ,but she is sure that whatever happens she will face it whether good, or bad .( Come what may .I know the way) She didn't know she could do it till the song "Know who you are"
Joe Metz hehe sister nesia here :) I'm Micronesian but I do love how well they've done this movie & how well they've portrayed their culture. Really shows how alike we are as people 💖
Joe Metz hmm usually I would argue against grouping us together but I know you mean well and can see you are correct in what you're saying. & I agree, sad to say our brothers & sisters are slowly losing their native tongue. Nothing we can do about the past though, except accept it & move forward from it.
Mara Uana my hubby lived in Hawaii for a few years and while he doesn't speak it well, he can hold a conversation in the native you he. He's biracial...half Japanese and half African American. He thought this movie would be a huge insult but he even thought it was good and pretty tasteful. My daughter loved it. He even had her speaking a few words before we got home. The languages are beautiful
1) Cried when the grandma passed away and her spirit glided across the sea to moana 2) cried to this scene 3) cried at the ending when maui got moana tattooed on him
Same here. It hit me hard that I'm not really following my dreams, just trying to please others...but how can you live a fulfilling life if you're not happy? I cried like a baby, but I've made my choice.
I found the "I've delivered us to where we are. I have journeyed further. I am everything I've learned and more" very touching. I came from a family that survived poverty in three generations, gradually improving their state of life for their descendants. I'm in the fourth generation and I have everything my great grandparents and grandparents could've never thought of. I feel so lucky to live here even though that means I feel a greater responsibility to improve my life even further.
Nah they should've added some whales in the background xD But seriously though, this is currently my favorite Disney movie because of animation and story, and I plan on rewatching it over and over :3
I would totally buy it too but I hate the version they made in my country, the voice actors just don't fit D: And my dvd player on my laptop just broke too ;_;
My Nana passed away whilst I was travelling overseas and I never got to say goodbye. Gramma Tala makes me bawl my eyes out in the cinema packed full of children. I've also decided to get a tattoo for my Nana. Her favourite animal was cats, so I'm getting a black Siamese cat, it's tail curled into that infinity symbol, with a Gramma Tala quote under it; "There is nowhere you could go that I will not be with you"
We Mix Our Tears With Blood this is so touching ❤️ the exact same thing happened to me exactly 5 years ago today. I was traveling in Europe and my grandmother passed away. This movie, especially this part, really touch me deeply. And it's hard to find someone who understand exactly how it hits. Thanks for sharing this and I know I'm replying to this months later but I was scrolling and I couldn't now answer it ❤️❤️ sorry for your loss
This is my favorite song. The visuals were so stunning, and the emotions were so powerful...and I felt empowered alongside Moana. When the world reminds you of your past, and tries to tell you that you're too young, too uneducated, too fat, too this, too that.... you know who you are. They don't. I love this song so much!
This song has such a depth that is impossible to explain. It just leaves a statement to the world. All I can say is that it got tears in my eyes. So beautiful.
Same here, my grandma had passed away 2 months before the movie came out in theaters and when I saw it I teared up a lot during this song in particular.
My grandmother just passed, but even though she was in the same room as me watching it, I cried so much because she was never able to talk to me quite like this. She lost her ability to speak from old age when I was five.
Fun Fact! The grandmother is voiced by an awesome New Zealander, her voice is super different to how it is in the movie! Her name is Rachel House, she's super amazing.

steve smith My big problem with Frozen is that it forgot it was a musical halfway through. I was worried that the same thing was going to happen in Moana, but I was so relieved that didn't happen.
Frozen didn't make any sense...Hans at the beginning didn't show any evil in him and out of the blue he wanted to kill Elsa and Anna when he had chances before. But Moans flows and makes sense and is all in all a way better movie. And I didn't expect the ending in Moana
Okay, fine, i'm gonna be the only one here: FROOZEEEEEEEN! Frozen all the way!!!! Now i can go back and listen to "How far i'll go (reprise)" again and again, and you guys just stay here and waste your time comparing those movies instead of enjoying both.
I think Moana is the most realistic female character that Disney have ever created. she looks good, the body language are amazing and her girly voice... perfect. no wonder I'm so addicted to this movie. WELL DONE DISNEY!
It's really good considering this was her first movie and I don't think she did music before (at least not any that was released) (not trying to detract from how good it is, if anything, I'm praising her)
@@turtleofdoom3281 She was in glee club in high school, and that's it, never acted either. As Clements and Musker said, she's not trained, just very, very talented.
When her Grandmother sung the first part I felt tears in my eyes. Me and my Grandmother had a great relationship and for specific reasons she reminded me of her. :_: Great song.
Skoll Shorties. yeah me too its so sad! mostly disney movies they dont have someone they truley loved to die but NOPE thus movie was totally diffrent and i give it 10/10 good job disney
I can see this so much as a stage adaptation. I just imagine during this song when she references different parts of her journey a character from that part would light up in dim lighted dark blue lighting in the background. For example when she says "I am the daughter of the village chief" a light shines and stays on the chief in the background and then when she says "we are descended from voyagers" the islanders light up. It would continue to highlight tomatoa and maui and other added characters
Oh man holy shit! the background voice is amazing... never get tired of listening. I'd totally go for a coral version of the songs. (All the characters have amazing voices, I simply have a thing for orchestral music)
honestly Moana was very underrated when it came out but it was so much better than other movies from the story it was trying to tell the animation and the BEAUTIFUL songs it really deserved a lot more attention that it got everything about the movie was just breath taking.
[GRAMMA TALA] I know a girl from an island She stands apart from the crowd She loves the sea and her people She makes her whole family proud Sometimes the world seems against you The journey may leave a scar But scars can heal and reveal just Where you are The people you love will change you The things you have learned will guide you And nothing on earth can silence The quiet voice still inside you And when that voice starts to whisper Moana you've come so far Moana listen Do you know who you are? Funny, they picked little bits and pieces of every island nation's cultures. Samoan ceremonial clothes, Tahitian singing, Hawaiian dances etc. etc....
Api Tuia I don't think any of the songs were in Tahitian. Just Tokelauan, Tuvaluan and Samoan. But yeah I totally agree #PolyMovement

Am I the ONLY one who gets more chills at the "I know the way" line rather than the following "I am Moana"? Please tell me I'm not. I love that line so, so much.
I get chills right AFTER she says I am Moana. Something about the tribal singing in the background is so moving!

The grandmother reminded me so much of grandmother willow from Pocahontas.
This song is so great and touching
Yeah...animated Disney films tend to recycle the supporting characters.
Pocahontas + Lilo & Stitch = Moana
twist58 Yas! Coz Moana means family and no one gets left behind.
Moana does not mean Family, Ohana means Family.
Moana is the mall in waikiki
I can't believe it's been 5 years and this song and movie only get better with age. It's starting to feel like a nostalgic trip.

I got all teary eyed when her grandmother passed and became a ray... it was a double whammy because I loved her character and I find manta rays to be incredibly beautiful and amazing... damn it Disney.
ShiningDialga
Dude, same! The lights were so beautiful too, it's hard to not cry!
I bawled like a child when I saw that. It was such a primal, honest moment. It's something our grandmothers would do....transformed into the everlasting, to follow us and protect us.
Is it bad that I shouted, you killed Steve Irwin?
Monty Mereel omg I laughed so hard
Monty Mereel I thought a jellyfish killed him.
When she screamed out "I am Moana", the entire theater stood up and started cheering and people were screaming "YES GIRL YOU ARE MOANA!" and honestly watching this in the theater was just a fantastic experience.
Taylor Allen wow! I actually teared up during that scene.
Taylor Allen There weren't many people in the theatre, but all of my family actually held our hands together and we clapped when she said, "I am MOANA!" We were all crying ;U;
Rocky Minjares same
Actually?
This song gives me actual chills. Moana’s voice is so powerful along with her spirit. Both combined just gives me the feels.
setting "I AMMMMMMMMM MOANAAAAAAAAA" as my alarm, so I can wake up feeling like Moana for a second
Somethings on her face..
I fucking died at this
TalkThatTalk LMAO XD
Anybody now?
Same
has anyone else noticed HOW she actually finds her voice and realises who she IS? Auli'i begins singing quietly, like she's whispering and gradually gets louder and louder until she's practically shouting her name! Magical. Powerful...and very clever. :)
SiennaBenna X I think it's not Auli'l i think its another singer.. I'm a filipino and i know Janella Salvadors voice and i think its her pure voice i also think her voice was mixed on "how far i'll go" this only my suggestion that i think its Janella Salvador...
It's really not that clever.
SiennaBenna X the delayed horn blast is really what sells the climax of the song
Azhmia Gaming no this is Auli'i..
Azhmia Gaming this is not janella.
seen this movie in theaters twice and both times i get chills from how majestic this scene is.
Iridescent Noise I saw it once in the theater and I want to watch it in 3d.
Iridescent Noise you got chills? I STILL CRIED AT THIS PART EVEN AT THE SECOND TIME I WATCHED IT
Ive seen it three times and going to see it for the fourth time again soon yayya
saw it twice.. am game for more
Iridescent Noise me too
This song empowered me as a female. Which was impressive because I'm a 30 year old man.
Lol 😂
Well that took an unexpected turn
Dont be transphobic xD
Zero Fox well in the "religion" of maori and/or the faith of native americans, yoz actually have an inner female and an inner male. Everyone has that, and it is up to you to make them grow side by side instead of empowering one for the other. So, this basically brought you balance :)
Zero Fox. I feel you dude
This was my favorite song in the movie...totally got Lin-Manuel vibes with it.
The Helmaroc King He wrote most of the soundtrack
Exactly.
The Helmaroc King same here
I just am here for the Lin vibes. Never seen the movie lol.
Especially in the middle of this song, it reminds me of Hurricanes "I'll write my way out".
Gosh, I totally love the whole soundrack here thought, its amazing. Especially the Polynesian(?) chorus.
The grandma is my favorite character already.
She's just the village crazy lady haha
This is why I love Disney, many reasons for that but one thing I love them for especially is for how they make old woman (Grandmother Willow and Grandmother Fa to name a couple) and horses Khan, Samson to name a couple) as they alway tend to be amazing characters.
Aja Douglas you have seen Moana already?
TheLostLenore Wait, won't it be released tomorrow, only?
Aja Douglas I am so anxious!!!!
That intensity in Moana's face after shouting I am Moana and jumping into the water is priceless..
i know right
maneendra patnala made me feel awkward actually
I cried

Its fitting, since I do everything at my own rhythm and I love the rain and just water in general
that is a really cool story

I'm sure this will be the scene that will make everybody cry
Sophie Hanssel Somebody was chopping onions when I saw it last night.
Really?
Sophie Hanssel
Yes. Lots of tears were shed.
Oh
Sophie Hanssel nooooo lol the part where I cried was when Ta Ka got restored.. omg it was amazing
I almost cried at this scene. The choir gives goosebumps
Alex Lagura ikr?!😆
Alex Lagura, Almost? I was sobbing and I'm in my 20s.
(to be fair my last grandparent just died a month ago but Jesus christ I got goosebumps)
TheSongBirdsMelody I don't want to cry in theaters but it almost got me lol
The stingray appearing had me holding back tears but when Moana started singing I just could not control it anymore. Especially when she sang "I am Moana!"
ALMOST cried?
I went to watch Moana with prejudices but came out completely mind-blown. The story, the voice actors, the music, the character developments, the twist on the ending, the out-of-this-world animation. It was an experience anyone of any age should experience.
Disney had made a new classic. And I am glad to be able to witness this on my lifetime.
Putr Kosh this song gives me goosebumps!
Jay.ok
Auli did an excellent job at the start of the song.
Putr Kosh gggbmbffvjfvcfnjv
COULDN'T AGREE MORE!
When she said " I am moana " I was like " yes!" Like a churchgoer agreeing to a pastor
Sameee
John Howard I did the exact same in the theater lol!!

I am from Tahiti and the fact that we finally have the movie in Moana's native languages which is mine as well is Amazaing! Our elders who only speak Tahitian could watch the movie with us, it was so emotional and beautiful... Thanks Disney!
That is so beautiful and heart-warming! Much love from Australia! ❤️
Auli seriously did so well in this film, her singing voice is beautiful and voice acting is just amazing
GirlOfFabuluosness Agreed!
Auli'i Cravalho KILLED IT as Moana! 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻

this gave me total grandmother willow and Pocahontas vibes. saw it in theaters it was so beautiful
Emma Rose which works wonderfully considering Moana and Pocahontas are both daughters of chiefs
Totally! same feels
I know a girl from an island
She stands apart from the crowd
She loves the sea and her people
She makes her whole family proud
Sometimes the world seems against you
The journey may leave a scar
But scars can heal and reveal just
Where you are
The people you love will change you
The things you have learned will guide you
And nothing on earth can silence
The quiet voice still inside you
And when that voice starts to whisper
Moana, you've come so far

Tony Stark I know how you feel because I teared up and it reminded me of my grandmother.
Same. This movie reminded me just how much I miss my grandma and I've cried every time I watch it. That's part of why I love it, though; it's a reminder that even though she's gone, she'll always be with you.

Carolyn Girard she meant the german song version. And i have to admit it is
The chicken was hilarious :D
Personally I prefer this version of the song but the german one is pretty fantastic.

Hazel Celeste yes! Exactly!!
Oh god, now I'm crying! 🤣🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭😭😭
This is a musical they could 300% do on Broadway, with a score like this.
losingmymind611 and i
Moana STILL isn't sure why the Ocean chose HER at THIS point of the story ,but she is sure that whatever happens she will face it whether good, or bad .( Come what may .I know the way) She didn't know she could do it till the song "Know who you are"
I loved everything about the movie 😭💝
Joe Metz Hawaiian, no , Pacific islander , yes.
The languages are beautiful

I don't know how many times this movie made me cry :(
Maggie Chen made me cry 3 times because of the feels
Maggie Chen I almost cried like three times but my friend was with me and she would have made fun so I didn't.

2) cried to this scene
3) cried at the ending when maui got moana tattooed on him

I'm not afraid to admit I've been obsessed with Moana songs for an entire week now lol

This song has such a depth that is impossible to explain. It just leaves a statement to the world. All I can say is that it got tears in my eyes. So beautiful.
When this movie came out, my grandmother had passed away only three months before hand. I was a mess watching this, but it was so beautiful.
Her name is Rachel House, she's super amazing.

steve smith uhm definitely wayyyy better frozen is over rated
steve smith My big problem with Frozen is that it forgot it was a musical halfway through. I was worried that the same thing was going to happen in Moana, but I was so relieved that didn't happen.
Yeah..Moana is so much better
Frozen didn't make any sense...Hans at the beginning didn't show any evil in him and out of the blue he wanted to kill Elsa and Anna when he had chances before. But Moans flows and makes sense and is all in all a way better movie. And I didn't expect the ending in Moana
Okay, fine, i'm gonna be the only one here: FROOZEEEEEEEN! Frozen all
the way!!!!
Now i can go back and listen to "How far i'll go (reprise)" again and again, and you guys just stay here and waste your time comparing those movies instead of enjoying both.
That power note at the end , goosebumps all around 😍😍

I think Moana is the most realistic female character that Disney have ever created. she looks good, the body language are amazing and her girly voice... perfect. no wonder I'm so addicted to this movie. WELL DONE DISNEY!
Auli'i has an amazing voice!
It's really good considering this was her first movie and I don't think she did music before (at least not any that was released) (not trying to detract from how good it is, if anything, I'm praising her)
Turtle of Doom she didn't release anything but she definitely sang before (she was a musical theater kid at my friends school)
Kimberly Ogata I assumed that she probably DID do music, just none that was realeased. I should have worded my comment differently.
@@turtleofdoom3281 She was in glee club in high school, and that's it, never acted either. As Clements and Musker said, she's not trained, just very, very talented.

This song was so powerful paired with the beautiful night sky.
Her grandma made me cry (':
She has that perfect loving granny voice.
Same, I was actually crying in the cinema
I bawled like a baby- each time Grandma was sweet. She reminds me of my Grandmother-
the granmas voice made me cry
Lidya Dirar oh
I can see this so much as a stage adaptation. I just imagine during this song when she references different parts of her journey a character from that part would light up in dim lighted dark blue lighting in the background. For example when she says "I am the daughter of the village chief" a light shines and stays on the chief in the background and then when she says "we are descended from voyagers" the islanders light up. It would continue to highlight tomatoa and maui and other added characters
i cried when the grandmother's animal was following her.

Oh man holy shit! there is army everywhere
Oh man holy shit! the background voice is amazing... never get tired of listening. I'd totally go for a coral version of the songs. (All the characters have amazing voices, I simply have a thing for orchestral music)
Such a beautiful song. I get serious goosebumps when she proudly yells "I am Moana!"❤
Avante Allen right!! her voice is absolutely breathtaking and her voice is so amazing ahhhh. I love it!!!
Avante Allen yeah i agree with that. Her voice is literally voice goals 😍
honestly Moana was very underrated when it came out but it was so much better than other movies from the story it was trying to tell the animation and the BEAUTIFUL songs it really deserved a lot more attention that it got everything about the movie was just breath taking.

That come what may
I know the way
I am Moana!
Thanks for the lyrics !
You forgot to put in [EPIC AS FUCK CHOIR + ORCHESTRA] at the end
the grandma's voice always makes me cry idk why
