My wife and I volunteer to work for two weeks each year at AirVenture. There are so many people in the camp now who don't fly. We've never seen it like that in years past. It's filled with people who stay at their camper, drink a lot, smoke weed, etc. It's not so fun anymore.

We have never volunteered but do enjoy going each year. We enjoy the show and checking out all the vendors.

It’s cool that you went camping in Wisconsin! What a coincidence, my dad has been and still is in Wisconsin. He’s not in Oshkosh; he’s in the Wisconsin Dells running a show business. I will actually be heading to the Wisconsin Dells soon to see him as well as Megan, my sister and her soon to be finance, Samuel, who are also in the Wisconsin Dells. I hope you had fun (or are having fun (depending on if you’re still there)) at the camp! I’ll see you in Chemistry! I will not be present on the first day of school because I will be at the Wisconsin Dells but I believe that I’ll be present on the second day. Enjoy the rest of your summer!

When you mentioned scooters on your video… What kind of scooters were you talking about? Also , did you have any pre-reservations before showing up to register on that Friday? Curious on if in your opinion, you think you could show up on that Friday and just drive up as a walk in?
By the way, thank you for having a video with important information that is helpful… Will be heading from utah for the first time ever and need all the advice we can get.
Ideally, we would love to be in the reserved electrical and water hook ups, but definitely don’t want to pay for the whole month .

We got the scooters at Target, they are GoTrax electric scooters. Just a two wheel, stand up scooter. Also we did not make any reservations before hand, we just showed up, but we knew we wanted 24-hour generator section which is way in the back. Probably the only way you will be able to get electrical and water is to pay for the whole month. We had no issues using our generator and we filled up our fresh water tank. You can fill up your fresh water tank when you get there, it is by the dump station. They will also come to your RV and fill it up for a fee. Hope this helps! I'd be happy to answer any other questions. Thanks for watching!!

Hi Shantel. We usually fly in and tent camp but taking our "other rv" this year to try camp S. I recall from years past walking through, the generators are just screaming and really annoying. Thinking of booking in the NO generator area and using solar and battery power to run basics what we need. No air is a bummer but the noisy generators even in the 10PM time area dont sound much fun if relaxing with a drink outside and talking. The inverter generators are quiet but I recall a lot of the cheap and noisy genies running. Thoughts? Only thing we would miss is AIR but a few good fans, certainly beats a tent and the quiet would sure be nicer. Good idea or no? :-) Will think on it but that is plan. Hi to Brian.

Thanks for the input! I don’t remember the generators being too bad. I’m sure some are loud but with windows closed and air during the night to help me sleep I prefer the option of a generator during the night! 😊
