@GunTotinMinnesotan How would you compare it to the Zeiss LRP S3 6-36x56 ??? I am in the market for purchasing a new scope and would really like to hear your opinion.
@@bikinibandit3115 I prefer the reticle in the Element, the internal travel of the Zeiss, the Element for reticle, the rest of the features go to the Element.
There are 3 scopes in this price range that Id shoot. Leica PRS, Theos and Gen 3. I believe the Gen 3 has the best glass but its nit picky bc all 3 are STELLAR!! (I have only looked thru the Leica in the parking lot of a store but it was amazing) Theos non translating turrets, elevation flag, throw lever, and all the other extra are incredible BUT BUTTTTT....the Gen 3 comes with the warranty that makes it almost impossible NOT to take advantage of! I currently run all Athlon bc the warranty is bananas!! I have dropped scopes and have a new one in my hands in 2 weeks. The Theos is NASTY but when spending near $2500 I want that warranty to know it will be replaced even if it is MY fault!!

Have a Panthera that's sticking around for nrl22, .457 LSS, 3 GK1's and some random other PCPs. Just picked up a Theos so ran across your video while I was poking around looking for some input before I pulled the trigger
What site do u get your tall test targets from? Ive never seen yours but i use mrad as well and thought id ask cause im having a tough time finding anything taller then a ft long.
The titan is like a thousand steps below the Theo’s the titan is made in china “don’t get me wrong it’s still very nice” vs the Theo’s is made in Japan actually in the same lab Nightforce optics has theirs made but im sure you already knew that haha.. you got a very very premium optic top of the line I’d say and I like what you said about saving up and getting something nice and to stop buying budget optics it’s true. If you don’t buy two 6 or $700 dollar optics you got 12 to $1400 right there I just bought the gen one element nexus it’s gone down from like $1700 to like a thousand dollars and it was there flagship optic when they first came out now it’s the Theo’s
Unless your dropping like 4k on a scope and buying some italian glass theres no reason to waste your money on a company simply for brand recognition over a optic for 500 that does the exact job and uses the same glass as your 1500 optics.. the reason theres cheaper scopes with good glass now cause the glass is no longer under military contract patents there by opening up the same glass companies that sell the glass to the companies selling them for $2k vs the one selling the same glass for less then a third of what other older companies have been selling them for.if u think u have to spend 2k then feel free but reality now is that u dont.
The Zeiss S3 4-25 has plenty of internal elevation, and the Element Titan 3-18 has just as much internal elevation as the Z but for less than half the price

I have no need for anything that high mag, and the Nexus is ideal for me

what scope would you recommend for 500+yards for my dynamic fx 35cal i have the 5x26 arken and discovery 6x40 but i need more Elevation
