My favorite obsession with a videogame was Civilization 6 when i couldn't stop since i was like "just 1 more turn" and then i played for 8 hours straight without realizing.
I'm so glad I got all the meta enabling supports last year and now I dont have to go crazy with the surprise banners. Koyanskaya of light (5 multis), Oberon (1 multi), Castoria Np2 (3 multis and GSSR) and Skadi (I actually got her on the first banner). This year I Got Koyami and Reines now I'm saving all my quartz for summer.
Same (except Skadi and Merlin yet though), but I'm in no position to rest since I'm a Morgan and Castoria fan and their banners for more np copies are closing in...
@@mrszczurek The first time I spent money on fgo (on a non-GSSR banner) was on Morgan's second banner because I failed getting her on the first banner and on GSSR (in which I got Castoria NP2) and I got Morgan NP3 on the same multi . It will take a lot of self control to not try to go for Morgan NP5 lol.
My favorite game is Persona 3. I played it for the first time in June and got to the ending and I just fell in love. It was one of those experiences I knew I would never see topped ever again, even more so when I played Reload this last week and fell right back into my Persona 3 obsession from half a year prior. I have also played 4 and 5, I like them but nothing really feels as important to me as a person as Persona 3 does. I could easily play Persona 3 Reload over and over.
Agreed. P3 an P5 are two of my favorite games. Never really cared for P4 - the cast just didn't click for me the way the other two groups did. Also, can't wait for the P1 and P2 remasters - I played a bit of P1, but I've never been able to play P2 before, so really excited for it.

So my obsession game is an old DS game called Magical Starsign! I love the artstyle, the characters are simple but fun, and the magic based fighting system is neat!

NP 6 Tam Lin tristan, NP3 Barghest, and a Single Copy of Oberon...pulled in SINGLES AFTER 7 multies leaving me with about 31 SQ...Yeah, I dunno whether to thanks the Gatcha gods or curse my own stupidity. Upshot though? I finally got my Jalter to Bond 11, so another multi chambered for the next banner...which is SERAPH. Considering I bought and cleared it recently, I'll get my rare prisms back, but I WANT MY ALTER EGO CHILDREN/WAIFU!!! Yeah, the road to Type Earth's banner is fraught with Gattcha. SO, pray for me friends, and hope our banners bless us with Rainbows.

The last one I couldn't put down was Hollow Knight, but I'm still relatively fresh in my gamer arc so it being (so far) my first one to complete to my upmost makes sense. I still get urges to hop on and fight a boss or two when I'm busy. It's a contender for my favorite game of all time. But my catalog continues to grow so who knows?
I have difficulties putting down most of games after I get into them, but the most recent one that was also the most difficult to stop playing is Prey (2017). I got it after finishing all of the Dishonored franchise games (including Deathloop) and wanted more. Prey is a bit different from those, but you can clearly see that this is a game that devs of Dishonored have made. Also, I had enough to guarantee Oberon through Pity this time, but it only took 11 multi. I no longer have enough to get Junao on pity, but I think I can guarantee having enough to guarantee Morgan in April.
Skipping this banner, already have Barghest (NP2), Baobhan (NP4) and Oberon (NP1). The game I played too much was Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, reached 500 hours of playtime (don't regret, it's an amazing game). I played Nier Automata (so good, managed to get every ending, got the Platinum).
For me that game was Smash Bros for 3DS. I put far more time into that than I will admit, and even after buying a Wii U I would still take my 3DS everywhere just to play smash 4.
Probably the first game where I lost track of time was Valkyria Chronicles 4. I played it till 4 am when it came out I loved it. I will replay it soon on PC when I have nothing else to do. But more recently in 2021, I was addicted to Fgo and the story. Today it's a lot less tho.
Ah. So, my favorite video game of all time is Ninja Gaiden Black, though, the game that I just couldn't put down was, and this is when the game came out, Metroid Dread. The moment it came out, my hands did not leave my controller, as I went through the entire game in one swoop, and man, it was worth it, lol

Hilariously I totally get the P5 thing. With original P5 I found myself liking a few of the characters. But I couldn't do the harem thing. So...beat the game romancing Makoto, then Futaba, then Haru, and think I stopped after that. But then Royal came out...and actually made things easier since Sumi was just such an immediate "yes" that I just focused on her with each playthrough. Though I'd probably say that Persona 4 Golden is that game for me more. It's so easy to come back to it. Especially since I feel strangely satisfied busting out my Vita for it (though maybe I'll play it on the Switch and see how the JP cast is there). Just love Persona 4. I know 3 is good (strong ending there) and 5 is definitely good too. But 4 just has a story that works for me. I love that group as a group.

I hate using Oberon. The debuffs on his kit just make him entirely unappealing to me. I'd rather do double Vitch + Castoria or Waver. Most of my heavy hitter buster servants have 50% batteries and 20% append skills anyway, so I don't really feel the need for him. So yeah, he continues to be a skip for me. But good luck to those who like him!
Interesting - I too pulled both Barghest and Origin Bullets on this banner, and in that order. I consider Oberon pretty low tier on the waifu scale, so I'm not putting effort into the banner - just throwing some Daily Disappointments. As for the game I played way waaay too much, that would be Diablo II and it's expansion back in the day. I don't think any other game has come remotely close since (we're talking 1000s of hours, but probably not 10000s of hours. Probably not. Maybe). I definitely got my money's worth.
I think the game I always enjoy to play is Persona 4 and FF12. I keep replaying them and I just never get bored. I love playing them. As for pulls, I'm just saving up my pulls for Gilgamesh, maybe. Or just wait for Muramasa to come back.

King's Bounty: The Legend - IIRC I put like 90 hours into that game over 1 week. A work week. Some years later I put about 150 hours into Eador Genesis over 2 weeks or less. I try to stay away from those types of games now...

I can't really pin down a favorite game of all time, but I suppose Smash Ultimate easily ran the emotional gauntlet from tears, fears, and grinding gears. Maybe Donkey Kong Country instead, who knows. What I _can_ say is that Kirby Planet Robobot was easily played into the early morning, thanks to it being a refreshing take, and for its intense endgame.

Cyberpunk 77 became my obsession game. The story absolutely top tier and there is always something new to do in it.

Baldur gate 3 recently….persona 5 and persona 5 Royal when they each came out.
That game for me was fate go's main part 1. I completed it in a month without skipping anything. Also, I got Oberon after 5 multi's
