Late Again (words and music by Oliv')

'Late Again' is about someone who is consistently running behind and keeps stressing about it without being able to adjust. The situations become increasingly serious but they are also supposed to be laughable.
I used a "high-strung" tuning on the guitar to add some intensity to the song and perhaps evoke a ticking clock or the anxiety of tardiness.
Late Again » parle de quelqu'un qui est toujours en retard et en ressent de l'angoisse sans parvenir à corriger cette mauvaise habitude. Les situations deviennent de plus en plus sérieuses mais se veulent drôles.
J'ai monté des cordes en mode « high-strung » sur la guitare pour ajouter de l'intensité à la chanson et tenter d'évoquer l'anxiété du retard, de la fuit du temps.

This is a wonderful song and you playing a guitar as well as a mouth organ is fabulous.... remember as young boy playing that mouth organ back 1n 1950's....

Je ne connaissais pas cet accordage "high-strung" dont je viens de découvrir qu'on appelait ça aussi le "Nashville tuning".
Ça sonne super bien !

Oui, Nashville tuning, souvent utilisé pour doubler une partie de guitare et donner un effet 12 cordes.
J'ai voulu essayer en fingerstyle (avec la 1ère et la 6ème en ré). 🙂
