Thanks for showing a nice collection in great condition. The last video I watched was a collection of junkyard quality bayonets apparently from various flea markets.
It's positively a Swiss bayonet. Probably the one made for the 1889 Schmidt Rubin. Mine is similar and has 'Maschinenfabrik Bern' marked on the blade just above the serial numbered handguard matching the one of the rifle.
$35 for a Japanese type 30 bayonet... You did REAL well!!! Japanese bayonets are my favorite. The length and feel, along with the history and how it looks attached to the Arisaka family is like no other...
Christan Gade Thank you. Honestly I don't even have that swiss bayonet anymore lol. I am always looking to add more to my military collection. Thanks for watching.
That British NO 9 bayonet is actually a South African made version . Made by ARMSCOR in the 1960 /s it had an Uzi SMG blade in place of the British bowie blade.....
There's a ww2 Arisaka Japanese bayonet being sold for $70. It isn't in the best shape there's a little rust on the blade, but could probably be cleaned. Do you think $70 is a good price?
Excellent stuff! I particularly like your Enfields. Question though, on your US M1917 I didn't get to see the other side. Is it an early one (the British contract ones) with the hatched out Enfield marks? Just cuz the pattern year is 1913 so that makes me wonder if it's a British P13? If it's hatched out on the other side it's US! I have a video of one of the early 1917 examples. Also, if you've bought any more recently you should make a video for 2018! Not enough bayonet videos on youtube haha
If you want more we are currently selling the 65-year bayonet collection of retired US Army Col. Peter Kilburn. The current auction features several rare bayonets including a Sten SMG MK1 B&JSL Spike bayonet 41- 42, a M1847 Musketoon MFGR 1856k (1 of 580), a 1875 MOd Belgian Allbraendlin, a US CSA Hall Bayonet WSF, a US Cold Armalite bayonet Marked Colt, a M9 B1 USMC BUCK+ (1 of 5,000), a M9 L-2 LAN-CAY 10 Camo Prototype, a M9 LAN-CAY USCG bayonet, a 1799-1810 UK Baker Officer Fusil Lenght bayonet, a UK Volunteer Baker bayonet, a GB Canadian 1899 Savage, a 1862 Wurtzberg Art bayo, a Early German Fire/Police Bayonet from WWI. You can see more details, pictures and bid here: bit.ly/BayonetA2
Honestly, I'm not really sure. I don't know a lot about Spanish Mausers. I don't want to tell you the wrong information. I suggest using google/Wikipedia. Wish I could help more. Sorry. Thanks for watching.
know the 1893 Spanish Mauser bayonet will fit the Spanish 1916. I went ahead & bought the used 1908 Brazilian Mauser bayonet from Numrich for $27 + $7 shipping so too good of a deal to pass up. I will keep my fingers crossed that it fits but if not I will still have a cool looking bayonet.

Yes definitely. It has been a long while. I have lots of videos planned. An updated Bayonet video is one of them. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it.
Honestly I have never really gotten into collecting items that old. So much stuff from Civil War era is faked. It's hard to find the real deal alot of times. Thanks for watching.
I have about 20 bayonets myself and I limit my collection by this little rule: "You cannot have a bayonet unless you also have the rifle to which it belongs." Otherwise, I would have a lot of weird mystery bayonets and no space in which to keep them.
Dont knock random stuff. That statement is disrespectful simply because I and many other collectors specifically collect ALL nations and types. I have over 500 and its nice for ME to see all the different designs and types influenced by nation, usage, manufacture and design parameters. Each to his own my friend but respect other collectors desires..
I love bayonets! Very large and great collection! You did very well price wise too.

milcoll73 Thanks man
I've got four bayonets. 1x AK-47 ,1xAKM1 and mk IV no. 2 bayonet with frog. And a 1907 smile bayonet. Dated Jan 1917...

FalconMoose I love bayonets. Lol. Thanks for watching. Thanks for subscribing. I am always adding new things to my collection and making new videos.
You have a Swiss! It is most likely made by Neuhausen, and it will fit most Schmidt-Rubin rifles/K11’s. Nice collection and great prices.👍😄🇩🇰
Christan Gade Thank you. Honestly I don't even have that swiss bayonet anymore lol. I am always looking to add more to my military collection. Thanks for watching.

Yeah, I had a few people tell me that. I actually sold that bayonet a few weeks ago at a gun show. Thanks for watching.

Brandon Farnsworth Does it have the scabbard with it?
JonBoy09 yes
Brandon Farnsworth That's not a terrible price. I would try to get it for less. I would point out the condition of the blade.
JonBoy09 thank you
Brandon Farnsworth Anytime

Will a 1908 Brazilian Mauser bayonet fit on a 1893 or 1916 Spanish Mauser?

If you have a British Lee Enfield Number 1 Mark 3 bayonet and a sling for sale let me know, Thanks Lance
I have some of those bayonets and slings, but honestly I don't want to get rid of anything at this time.
I’m assuming you like lee enfields
Yes. They are awesome rifles. I have 9 right now in my collection.
I have about 20 bayonets myself and I limit my collection by this little rule: "You cannot have a bayonet unless you also have the rifle to which it belongs." Otherwise, I would have a lot of weird mystery bayonets and no space in which to keep them.
