Congratulations to Sew and Rainer for facing their fears of needle phobia! Never let it stop anyone from helping SG recover from the pandemic. I actually cannot stand the sight of needle going into the body but looking away it's not even painful at all.

take tylenol fauzi but for my experience it was a doozy for me! i got a 38.5 fever n it went down n back up n down n back up n waves!!! went down in Celsius in small grades!!! i had 3 hours of body pain also the following day!!! may not happen to u also but i also took the best one pfizer
my father was 1 outta million and got bell palsy in the face lasted for 6 weeks but also never experienced a fever from it

I got my second dose abt 2 months ago and honestly i was not scared of the needles but i was kinda scared of the side effects, but it turned out fine for me in the end
I can really feel how scared she was I also have needle phobia. I was crying watching this video.

For my 1st jab I just chatted casually with the nurse who made me feel relaxed and it went by really quickly. For my second jab, the nurse literally counted "3, 2, 1" before inserting the needle LOL and it made me tense up. To any nurse doing the injections, please don't countdown unless the patient asks you to do that haha.

Im scared of needles I always skip watching the injection clips and I still haven't pierce my ears for YEARS and wear clip on earrings instead 🤣 couldn't bear the pain at all

The min interval between doses is no longer four weeks (28 days). You can reschedule your appt to shorten it to min 3 weeks (21 days) already.

I am getting my second dose next Thurs🥺 I have fear of needle also. Just the thought of it, hearing about it or looking at it on news scared me a lot. And it make me feel nauseous.
I got my first dose few weeks back and I was so afraid 😭😭 It was quite pain for me especially on the second day haha.

Im also a person super terrified of needles!! I remembered 4 years back when i was 17/18 my frd still had to drag me into the clinic for the compulsary flu shot for our overseas exchange program xx
Took 1st dose of Pfizer a few days ago and i can say it feels like an ant bite xD i also contemplated for quite long before deciding to overcome my phobia, so anyone who hasnt taken the vaccination, go on right now as its really worth it!!

I have needle phobia also but ironically I’m a nurse and in order to take the course they do blood tests on you to make sure you have protection against the various viruses and if you’re not you must get vaccinated 😬
Vacc nurse was nice enough to give me the smaller needle on one of the vaccinations that allowed smaller gauge.
Dragged it out because I somehow got missed out during the initial batch for vaccination and I’m getting the 1st jab next week 😬
Congrats to the both of you for facing your face for a good cause.
My family received Moderna and the 2nd jab is when the side effects really kicked in. We all had slightly worse arm soreness than first shot and by 2nd day fatigue with slight headaches. With the 1st jab, we only had arm soreness.

Watching this video, I am literally crying because I also scared of the needle. I watch you 3 take it only, I already scared and crying a river right now while watching because I am just so.....scared of medical needles.
hii i got my jab and its rly not pain at all the only thing that's pain I the after soreness but the needle rly doesn't feel like anything. before I got it I was rly damn scared too but aft I got it i didn't even feel it go in
rainer my first jab i got a miniature anxiety attack n ended up puking a few times actually but i ended up fine... 2nd jab might effect u much more! dont work/edit but take tylenol and relax is the best medicine! even if u dont have a fever still take it just in case for atleast 2-4 doses to keep a potential fever in check... and get plenty of rest it effects everyone differently tho!!
keep in mind the effects will hit u about 4-6 hours after the 2nd jab!! intake not just water... but replenish with coconut water cuz it carries potassium and sodium needed more so then actual water in general! or a sports hydrate drink i suggest this cuz the tropical climate u are in! and the longer the vaccine is in ur body the more antibodies u create so dont overly drink water to pee it out! just a few suggestions about the vaccine
btw there's such a thing as memory b cells that produces antibodies in the future lmao so it doesn't even matter if the antibodies are "peed out"
Dude I also got a minor anxiety attack lasted 5 seconds and stopped weard. But to be honest even either the flu vaccine I get them weard

Just to mention, Sew has many ear piercings which should have been done using needles. Isn't the needle used for ear piercings much bigger and scarier than a tiny small needle. The pain is also nothing compared to getting any ear piercing expect the first and second one on your lower lobe.
This is in no way an insult but just a question since I also have many ear piercings like her and have done my injection as well. Plus i am also very scared of needles. Just think that getting ear piercings are scarier and more painful as compared.

they have to draw on the spot after you are seated.. it should not be already in the syringe when you are seated to get jab

I used to be scared of needles but then when I realised I actually faced worse pain like waxing.. needles are nothing.. :')

The side effect of 2nd dose is muuuuch worst than the needle. I was vomiting a few hrs after it 😩 was laying down in my toilet and waiting to die.. but didnt die la.. coz my hubby was spraying me with water like bathing a buffalo

Got Pfizer. On my 1st jab, I experienced a mild rash and soreness on my arm then at my 2nd jab, flu-like symptoms.
I alr had my first dose and it was not that bad. I had a slight fever afterwards but it was ok. But the needle going in, I CLD FEEL IT. IT WAS PAIN. IT WAS QUICK BUT PAIN. I FELT THE DAMN NEEDLE. Maybe bc my pain tolerance is low af but still. And i still have to go for 2nd doseeeeee
Don't worry, for me the 2nd dose was less painful. I also have a super low pain tolerance but for me it was more like an "ant bite".

Advice for those afraid of needles: close your eyes. Literally. And ask a bunch of personal questions to your injector.

My 1st dose was okay. Just hunger and fatigue. My 2nd dose was worse. More hungry, fatigue and fever😂. But to be honest, my fever is most probably bcuz i keep wishing for it so i could take mc.
Do only take panadol when needed ya! Taking it often will make the vaccine less effective. Lots of rest is really needed to get well. Hmm.. if theres anything else i could think of.. No need to panic if you get slightly breathless at times. I believe its bcuz they are targeting the respiratory area. Just dont do lots of activities! If panadol is not helping you as much, get anarex from your nearby pharmacy or smtg. Drinks lots of plain water so you can get rid of the toxins. Doing nothing will be super ideal. Dream come true😂

From a Malaysian who didnt had a chance to choose which jab to take. I took 1 jab of Sino a few weeks ago, regret...
Yup you can! Government said that they won't stop anyone who's eligible to register for vaccination from doing so, so you can as long as you're a Singapore resident/long-term pass holder, you can register. But when you go for your appointment, better to let the staff there know that you got a Sinovac jab before this and get their advice on how many doses you should take.
@@zyrob3435 Phew! Good to know. I just took a dose of Sinoc, for now Malaysia hasnt said that we can take another dose of vaccine after Sinoc. Very very glad to know Singapore allows to inject 2 vaccines, hope that Malaysia will do the same as well...
@@elaineloo610 Yup I think Singapore Gov policy is Pfizer and Moderna is available to everyone for free, regardless of whether you took other vaccines before this. Perhaps next time will open to foreigners to take the vaccine here once we are done vaccinating our own residents.
