I know this video is over a year old but i just wanted to say this is soooo helpful. I know most of the people watching wouldn't necessarily try this out at home but i actually did. I have a secret santa in my class and i got my harry potter obsessed friend so I decided to make her a package with her hogwarts acception letter and supplies list, her train ticket, a felix felices potion, some floo powder and an old looking harry potter quote bookmark. This was already magical but i needed to give it some finishing touches so i followed this tutorial and ended up with an incredible package for my friend which only cost me 5 euros which was the limit. This video inspired me to gift her something harry potter themed in the first place so thank you so much
Pssst a little tip if you're as fussy as me when it comes to the tape being visible: use double sided tape it looks really neat, stays put, can even be resealed if you're careful and makes gifts easy to open, so theres no need to rip the lovely owl post apart 😳
This is awesome! I want to do this for my customers but worried about the postal service rejecting them. Are the seals. Nd string and all ok to go through USPS??
Instead of taping or gluing your stamp on, you could lightly run a lighter over the back of it so that it heats up and gets a little bit tacky so that you can just stick it right on your package! 😊

He's a proud little Gryffindor, and I'm a Ravenclaw. I'm hoping to find a quidditch themed gift to wrap like this. He loves quidditch (and often brags about how he would be the best seeker now that Harry isn't at Hogwarts!)
I actually did this without the Hogwarts seal (sadly don't have one yet.. 😭) and stickers.. BUT! I didn't use Spello-tape 😜, I actually used the rounded butt end of my Initial seal and a dab of wax to hold the parcel paper closed instead.
Hey Cherry, as a stationery and Harry Potter fan you might like this...I discovered Harry Potter books next to Kate Spade glittery notebooks at my local (super high end and very Christmassy) garden centre. If you fancy doing some virtual browsing take a peek. When I saw them I thought of you ❤️😀✨🎬🍒🍒🍒🌲
Or these would be perfect as room decor also. Just take empty boxes and wrap em up and stack em up in the corner of your room or someplace in your room. That’s also another idea
Lovely idea, but not sure if this can go into the real post. I always used string and seals to send parcels to my nieces and nephew. Then a few years ago the post office made me take the string off as would cause problems when sorting and franking...spoil sports!
I am so doing this for my sisters christmas and birthdat.presents. she will love it. We are both Major potterheads. Luckily i already have a hogwarts letter set that includes the seal👍👍
Hi cherry you should make a diy broom! That would be cool. I made my own and i think you should too! I think everyone would like to know how to make one. I made one out of a branch which I stripped of the bark, twigs and string.

This is the coolest idea ever, I absolutely loved it!! I must say I was a bit disappointed at the end, it sounded like you would teach how to make the wax seals without buying a kit, instead of simply showing how to follow the instructions on one ;P

This idea is awesome!! I will definitely make this for my 3 Harry Potter fan friends! I cannot do calligraphy because I am terrible at it and I am left handed so it makes it worse but I loved it!
I just wish I had potterhead friends so I could do this... I guess I can just wrap gifts to everyone like this even if they're not potterhead... Yeah... That's what I will do.
