The New Leaf on the road for THE FIRST TIME at the Castle Hill Estate Family Fun Day!

Hi plant fans! 🪴 Yesterday was a HUGE milestone for The New Leaf houseplant shop, we hit the road for the first time ever! Okay, it was only ten minutes down the road to the fabulous Castle Hill Estate, but hey, it counts! We joined in on their amazing Family Fun Day and Dog Show, and I couldn't wait to share the experience with you.
I've put together this short video to show off how beautifully the stall turned out. All the hard work definitely paid off, and I’m so proud of it! The weather was an absolute dream, it couldn’t have been better. Though it did make me think: these events in the height of summer are not happening, my poor plants would melt!
It was such an enjoyable day; takings were good, the surroundings were incredible, and I met lots of customers old and new. I was totally in my element as an extremely passionate houseplant geek!
The Castle Hill Estate in Filleigh, North Devon is fantastic location for a day out, it’s got a massive old house that’s been in the Fortescue family for centuries, plus the most gorgeous gardens and grounds to explore. If you’re nearby, I thoroughly recommend you check it out! I feel very lucky to live in this part of the world, it is truly staggering.
