thermostat and heater hose. dont use the plastic couplings for the hoses. just use the bare hose on both ends and your local parts store have those adjustable coupling rings for hoses. use the small one for each ends. nice truck btw.
It’s just residue from being driven on southern clay roads. The guy I bought the truck from used it for hunting and also lived on a dirt(red clay) road. It needs a good engine bay cleaning

If you can’t get a new radiator, just put some fresh radiator fluid in
That gold color on all your engine parts says your radiator been leaking for a while

It could be your thermostat going bad.
