kafka on the shore is a must read from Murakami. brilliantly crafted story, with surreal incidents.

I fell in love with murakami on norwegian woods. It made enjoy my solitude and perception towards the worlds. I have'nt been to japan but he is having me roam around the Japan cities through his words. The way toru watanabe accepts his mistake was simply relateable...

I was randomly watching some meme page's book suggestion, and came across his Norwegian Wood novel. I loved the book very much, his writing was very intriguing; immediately after completing the book , I had the urge to watch its movie version, wasn't available anywhere in the popular sites , finally checked in the internet archive and luckily it was available. Although the book version is greater.

i liked his writing style but the way he writes his women characters are poor (IMO).. and one more thing barn burning is adapted into burning film that also won screenwrting award i think
