The folklore in the song karumathur in virumandi details the entire plot of the movie ... The movie is the extension of the folklore... Not being a native tamil I completely missed that layer... I didn't pick this even after many viewings.. Only recently on "the other banana" Podcast they did a detailed 2 part deconstruction of the movie... Kamal is lub ❤❤❤❤❤
