Two feminine Lutens I really love are Féminité du bois and Tubéreuse criminelle. Both are pretty easy to find. For some reason I don't get any kind of sweetness out of Jeux de peau, but I still love it a lot on my girlfriend. Very sensual, very original. Great picks. Serge Lutens is indeed a great house.
I bumped into a good Manhattan perfumery in Greenwich Village in March 2017 courtesy of a sales associate at the Lalique boutique. It is called Aedes Perfumery, and they carry both the tall rectangular Lutens bottles and the bell jar fragrances. They also carry several other not so easy to find (at least for me) houses.
I'm only 1:30 into the video, but I have an overwhelming urge to say how much I love the bottles, one of my favourite bottles out there, they instill a sense of well-being just by looking at them, nevermind the contents. Not to dismiss the contents, obviously.

In Germany one major seller (like macys in us) recently sold off few last remaining bottles (2x30ml) at 50% sale of iris silver mist , Rahät loukoum and Fourreau noir. So the "end" might be near ... Also learned about the to different version of refillbottles (30ml glas tube) for the "tout noir" travelsize. One packaging version has sealed refillbottles (no funnel included, pic on the back) and the other version with refillable 30ml tubes ( funnel included, pic on the back), Never products tend to have the funnel included ...
Glad I got the travel set of Fourreau Noir but wish I could have gotten Rahat Loukoum as well! It's too bad that Barney's went out of business here. That was my favorite place in America to smell this house.
TC is truly amazing, but is very hard to find now. I did have to get in at least one of the extreme florals and since ISM is (temporarily) available in the black atomizers, thought it would be the perfect one.
Yes love those travel atomizers. TC is harder to find but I'm in France so not a worry on my side. Btw if you need some help to proxy it, don't hesitate ;) cheers
Wow, usually with videos like this I have most of what people mention in my collection, but the only one I have here is Santal Majascule. I'm surprised people say it smells like Jeux de Peu though. I love SM but remember JdP having this milky quality that made me a little queasy. The SL export fragrance I always think of as underrated is Gris Clair. The longer I have worn it, the more I have loved it.
Always been so intrigued by this house, but never went the length to actually get a decant/sample. There is one that supposedly smells just like "Christmas," can't recall the name of it. Supposedly nails fir tree really well. The iris sounds kinda nasty; in most scents I think of iris has having a very potent and usually obnoxious powder vibe. Would love to smell it regardless; old bale of hay actually sounds way-cool. Great vid, thanks.
Where did u get ur Serge Lutens? I am hesitant to buy them from discount online stores bec I’ve read horrible experiences people went through from them most esp getting fakes
I love Iris Silver Mist. I bought a partial bottle of Iris de Nuit, and while similar doesn't have quite the bite that I liked from ISM. I will be searching for a 10-15ml decant when I finish the bottle. I am planning on getting a decant or partial bottle of Jeaux de Peau. I really find it addicting.
De Profundis is beautiful. It has been released in the black travel atomizers as well. It's in my immediate "to buy" list. I will have to comb Basenotes for where I saw it, but I've heard LV is the only place outside the flagship boutique you can get them.
