Well jel! You got a good one there. I tried for the first time last week, got 3 bunches of very very ripe bananas, some rotting sweet potatoes, 2 very stale cinnamon swirls, jacket potatoes, apples and oranges. Never went to waste and made the most of what I got (which is the point), still managed to make 3 banana cakes, a banana Eton mess, cheesy jacket potatoes, a sweet potato curry and fruit for packed lunches. You've given me the inspiration to try again, thank you
It definitely gets the creative juices flowing when you get one of these bags trying to work out how to use it. I'm really fussy with bananas though so I'd have been really annoyed with your over ripe ones and I don't like banana bread! Hope your next bag is better 😀
That's a great bag. I picked one yesterday from Morissons and got 4 loafs of bread...I am on my own so that's way too much for me. Also, pastry was stale and 3 days old. I wasn't impressed. The only good bit were two bags of apples and one aubergine which were the only produce I got. It really is a bit of a lottery.
Tomatoes mash then fry lightly with oil/butter, bit of garlic salt pepper thyme dash of oregano and a chicken stock cube and a splash of lemon makes a beautiful pasta sauce 🙂🤝
I was really impressed, some of it went to my son's girlfriend's house but from the rest of it all I had to throw away was 1 apple and a few potatoes. I cooked the apples, they go great in Ready Brek! 😋
I've had the app for ages but only had the chance to go and grab what was on offer a couple of times due to the time frame because of work etc. Shame we didn't get to see what meals you made out of it 😁 Maybe something for another vid!
Went to Morrisons yesterday booked through too good to go , arrived on time and then told “ we don’t do too good to go and never have” by customer services ….. not that impressed so far with my experiences but you seemed to have got a decent haul …..
That is a phenomenal bargain. That is a lot of nutrition for a small amount of money. Cooked fresh carrots are yummy. Aged cheddar...I had to laugh a little bit at that--it would seem to me it will just continue to age? Surprised they put that in the bag.
Great video as always and you’ve also inspired us to do it ourselves, about to go collect ours now😂 I’ll reply to this saying how it went for me but yours was a great bargain!

That video reminded me of the bags contestants would bring for the chefs on Ready, Steady, Cook! Tremendous bargain Steve!
You're right! 😂 I'd be hopeless on that programme, having to make a meal with random ingredients, not my thing!
That was a proper bargain. The carrots can be chopped and frozen. Cheese can be frozen but lasts ages as long as it is sealed. A great bag full.
The cheese won't last ages because it will get eaten! 😋🙂
Big fan of too good to go, you definitely need to do more these videos Steve!
Judging by how many views this is getting you're right!

You really did luck out there, try again, it can only be better!

Sounds great!
If we say £1 for the apples, £1.50 for the grapes, and £1.25 for the oranges, then it would come to £17.95 - what a BARGAIN! :D
Cheers mate, I still can't believe it!
That's not bad it's a bargain,well done! Great vid.
Thanks, it was an incredible bargain!
Try slicing a apple thing into chips, then cut the Cheddar cheese the same way, great snack.
You know what I've never tried cheese and apple together, I'll give that a go, thanks.
You certainly won with the cheese, both extremely nice 👍🏻. Think there’s enough veg in there with a few additions to make a nice soup too.
You're right about the cheese, they're both great!
Everything still looked fresh!

Absolutely love Too Good To Go - Always a nice little surprise!!
This was a very very nice surprise!!
@@BitOfMunch Big congrats on 600 subscribes too Mr Munch!!
Wonderful bag
It really was! 😀
Nice videos mate
Glad you like them!
You could always blanch the carrots and freeze them!
Good idea but they've already gone to a friend where they won't be wasted, I don't eat carrots very often.
@@BitOfMunch ah. You'll need your torch then boyo

You want to try and get a Morrisons cafe bag cakes and sandwiches and a hot food bag
I definitely will and thanks for subscribing 🙂

I like carrots but that was a huge bag, my son took them to his girlfriend's house. Nothing got wasted except 1 apple and a few potatoes ☺
And the cheese was lovely 😋 🙂
I was struggling to try this magic bag from Morrisons and you made me decide...It's worth a try 😁
Well on this experience it really is worth it, hope you're successful!
Interesting haul. All looks quite fresh. I have a lot of too good to go videos on my channel too. I'm getting quite addicted.
I'll have to check out your channel.
👍👍 great just downloaded this app 👍
Excellent! 👍
Hi there well done you what a bargain 😁
Hi and yes, an amazing bargain!
Sound as a pound! Very nice
Definitely!
Slice onion and tomato put on bread with cheese and make pizza
We can't get tomatoes now due to shortages grr lol
I'm more concerned about the shortage of peppers 😋
@@BitOfMunch oh yes forgot about those 😋
Yep I’ve seen this, Id already liked the vid! Not bad at all I love my cheese 🧀 lol
Same! 🧀😍😋
@@BitOfMunch I’ll eat any type of cheese! I love stilton the most! I’ve got a freezer full of all kinds as I can get it really cheap haha 😅
Take what you don't want to a food bank 👍🏻
Great idea but I've already sorted out what I'm going to do with it all, my son is taking a couple of things down to his girlfriend's house later.
Hi I freez my bread and take what I need when I need it
I sometimes do that, in fact I've got about half a white loaf in there at the moment.
Great video as always and you’ve also inspired us to do it ourselves, about to go collect ours now😂 I’ll reply to this saying how it went for me but yours was a great bargain!
I hope your bag is as good as mine, I look forward to finding out what you got.

Make soup with the carrots
pmsl cheese with sell by date thats just my luck the cheese has been aged for 12 months and it runs out of date the week you buy it
Brilliant! 🤣
I done it at a big spar 4.25 i paid i got 7 yogurts 😂😂😂😂😂
Oh no! That'd be no good for me, I'm allergic to yogurt 🤢
Looks like you’ve had a haircut
It'll grow back by tomorrow! 😀
Your arms arm looking weird on your thumbnail 😅
That matches the rest of me then! 😂
You don’t like fruit!
Did I say that? I eat a banana every day but I don't eat other fresh fruit very often.
