Interesting video. How are you finding that interior square to pull off of for measurements? Are you pulling from two adjacent sides that you deem the most straight, finding the approximate center, and then rounding up to the nearest foot when you actually put your square down for an easier measurement later? Basement foundations would make this a more challenging method I presume. Do you know why this happens with slab foundations? I know that building a 7ft high basement wall can cause some errors by the time you reach the surface, but on slab? Does the pressure from the concrete curing cause the exterior boards to move around a little bit, or does it have to do more with improper installation of the foundation?
In your video, you mentioned replacing a 2 X 4 with a 2 X 6. If you use this method and place the inside of the 2 X 6 on the square line and then trim the outside to match the concrete foundation, would this cause some large challenges for the rest of the build ?? I see that some wall studs would have to be individually ripped or furred out but what else can I expect ?? Thanks for both your time and video.
You might have problems with thicker walls and they could prevent you from using all of the suggested repair methods in this video. Let me know if this did not answer your questions.
Thank you. My contractors messed up on the foundation and framers all ready put up the wall trying to look at solutions but want to make sure I want to make sure I’m not going to have problems down the road

If the framing base plate is hanging out side 1"in ina 6" wall will it be unsafe building?
It would depend on the design and engineering. I would think it would be fine for most smaller single story homes.
How are you placing a rectangle inside the building that I s squre
Would you place say a measurement a foot in and create the 345 right triangle or 6.8.10
How much will plate overhang on the concrete would be acceptable in your opinion?
I would think 2.5 inches should be the minimum of the plate sitting on foundation, but it would depend on how much weight the wall is supporting.

Do you think an inspector would catch it or should I get a structural engineer?
I can't say for sure, because it would be up the the engineer.@@christophersanchez735
