Just some of them I’m having technical difficulties like when I proof the video in my app. It doesn’t always show the same thing when it’s on the screen and that drives me crazy. It doesn’t happen all the time but I’m glad that you enjoy my videos. that’s why I do them.

Nancy you bring me a lot joy and laughter. I have bears here where I live. Back and front porches, eating my peaches from my tree. Then they are on their way down my road.lol!!!!❤

Only one when my doggy bark at it. Since then when they come around when I and noticed them I keep my doggy inside. Right now they are hungry. The bears also go up the mountain. I live in NC 3,846 ft. Thank you for asking!

Hi Nancy, 1st, Happy belated birthday. Yes, Clover has 6.5 mm hooks, but to be honest with you, it's not worth the money I paid for both the 6.5 & the & 7mm. in Clover amour, anything above 6mm it's plastic hook part. It slowed me down a lot & i'm not a fast crocheter to begin with. beside that they're short. Thanks for sharing your vacation with us. ❤

Nancy I have bears here where I live. I have security cameras up and it captures when they come in my yard. Also all kinds of wild life. Knock on wood I haven't seen any bears lately. Keep a watch on Sadie and Suzie when they are outside by their selfs. Bears are really guick, stay safe sweetie. I enjoy all your videos. If it's yarn on whatever you post. Go get your eyes done, you will be amazed afterwards. I had mine done and I could see the lines in the leaves on trees. Best thing I ever did but of course mine were so bad I didn’t have a choice. I was driving with sunglasses on at night mine were so bad.

We traveled to Montana then down through Wyoming. My butt didn't unpucker for a month . The scenery was beautiful but some of the mountain passes were terrifying 😳

OMG...I lived in Pigeon Forge for a short time. I was trying to find this mechanic, this was before google maps, lol. I pulled into this driveway for a house that was being build and the drive was straight up and curved. When I got partway up the drive I realized it wasn't right. So I tried to back down. I was in one of those little 4 door Chevy Trackers. I have never been so scared in my life backing down that driveway. I am very surprised I did go off the side of that driveway and roll down the mountain. When I got to the bottom I sat there for like 20 minutes trying to calm down. So I totally understand your pain!

My husband and I went to Paula Deens restaurant and it was delicious. So much food. Have you and Tim been to Cades Cove? It’s a great ride and beautiful.
Yup, they are $29.99 without rack. As of 9/15. I'm keeping watch for the sale on them.😊❤ I really like my pryms. I took a sharpie and wrote sizes on lower end of handle. Easy to see.😅😅😅

We have a bear and cub sometimes around our house. Between them and coyotes we have to be careful with our fur boys. I bought a set of dot hooks someone on TH-cam told us about. I really like them. But my fav are the 60 yr old Boye ones I have. But they don't have the ergonomic handles.
I have them too, but I learned on a clover so the hook shape works better for me on the clovers dots and prym hooks
I think it might be Wears Valley where you are. I love your vids One more store you have to go by is the Christmas store- it is so amazing and you can find anything Christmas. Biggest advice I would give w the bears be sure you don’t leave food in the car. They should have locks on trash where you are too so as not to attract them. Have fun. They are hungry right now too getting ready for hibernating .

@@ShezgotYarnalso I tried to message you on Instagram about some alpaca farm/yarn mills near you. If you are up for an adventure- I went recently during the Tennessee Yarn Tour in August they will do tours if you call ahead. Super nice people and beautiful farms

I use my Clovers and Pryms down to about the 4 mm size, but I have all the sizes.
I'll eventually try the Dots, but I don't love pink so that kefps me from hitting the button. 😂 I'll get past it one of these days...
I would not have liked that mountain at night either. I don't drive at night any more following 2 cataract surgeries. Glare from lights to much. Even trying to look at the white line.
Hey Nancy! Thanks for showing the cabin. Looks beautiful. Clover does have a 6.5. They are the only hooks I will use. I have multiples in them. Does the Dots hook glide over the yarn like the Clover hooks do? And I enjoy your videos. Please keep doing what you’re doing.
There is really a lot to do here. And Dollywood has their Pumpkin Luminights going on. We haven’t been to this yet but we’ve been to the spring, fall, and Christmas one. We don’t do rides but always ride on the train (it’s handicap accessible). Rod Run is over so getting through Pigeon Forge should be a little easier.
Good! So I’ll go watch the pumpkin lite. Is there any other place you suggest before we leave?
@@ShezgotYarn I think that’s the main one..they close at 9 pm and if you take the trolley out of patriot park at the old mill in pigeon forge the last one out of Dollywood is 10 pm so you have to be on that on at the latest. But try to take the train in Dollywood it is awesome we love it.what ever you do don’t sit in the front…it’s a coal train lol

This is just my opinion. Maybe I’m wrong but I think the music copyright thing is stupid. If a person is in a publicly-accessible place they can photograph as well as audio- and video-record anything and disseminate it throughout the world. This includes anything viewed from public but looking into private property - private property like the inside of stores, people eating in restaurants, trademarked store signs, etc. You cannot trespass a person’s eyes. I think the same thing should apply to music. If you are anywhere you are allowed to be and you can hear music you should be able to audio record music and share it.

You have gorgeous pups. I had an experience with one of my dogs. We’d buy her plush dog toys and I was picking up stuffing all over the floor. She didn’t eat the stuffing but I failed to notice that the outside of the plush toys were getting smaller. Once she yelped jumping up on the couch and again when I picked her up. We ran her to the vet and they x-rayed her and found a lot of fabric (the outside of the plush toys) in her intestines. She was given pain medicine and prescription dog food and fortunately there was no permanent blockage that required surgery. Just saying keep an eye on the plush toys. Our dog also loved the plush squeaky ducks and we threw away the squeakers once she got them out of the toy, too. Each dog is different though. Maybe your dogs aren’t into eating the fabric. Nancy I see the yarn on the bed from the Dollar Tree and now I have a question. what hook size would you used on a c2c blanket with that yarn?
Sometimes I switch out a seven or I’ll use an eight hook
This yarn is a little bit thinner so I might go down to a 6 1/2. But I like a real drape blanket and I’m currently using an eight.
I know I gave you several answers. I would use an eight my honest answer, but I do jump around from time to time.
Hi Nancy, i ordered my set of Dots and they are being shipped to me. I did not order the set with the stand cause you said they would tip over. Where can I get the case? I am thinking about getting the Clover Amours too.
The case I got I think was a clearance case from Hobby lobby, but you might be able to find one on Amazon. I’ll look.
I went to Amazon and you can get them with the dots for $13. Something like that I tried to copy and paste, but it won’t work. I’m not sure how to share Amazon links.
