- I probably could've finished this 2 months ago, but work and life kept happening and preventing me from having opportunities to finish this... but now it's finally here! This is a movie of my blind playthrough of Pokemon Sword with sporadic footage that I took of the game whenever I felt like it! Despite all the roadblocks I had in editing, I really enjoyed making this, and I really hope you enjoy watching it! Plenty of new videos soon now that I've finally finished this.

It's nice to see someone who just wants to enjoy the game instead of shitting on it and talking about all its shortcomings.
I miss the time when I was a kid where I could just enjoy something for what it is. It was really refreshing to watch you play. I want to keep this kind of mindset for Scarlet and Violet.

These videos are some of the very few things on TH-cam that are over an hour that I can sit down and watch and not get bored or feel like I'm wasting my time. However, the main thing that boggles my mind is that you can make over an hour of enjoyable, well-edited content that surprisingly makes me feel emotional everytime I watch them.

Finally this day has come! I had purposefully avoided seeing other gameplays so I could watch yours. It took a while but its finally here.

Upon rewatch, I noticed that there’s a lot of major story beats you refer to that you don’t outright show or give away, allowing people at the time or people who haven’t played these games to get an idea of what’s going on without taking away from experiencing first hand. Watching this movie while running DAs was such a pleasant treat. I spent hours exploring the wild area and doing raids during my first playthrough on release before ever progressing. Such fond memories. Gen 8 will always be a special installment in my mind.

One thing I liked about this game, was how expressive your playable character is. After the Alola games this was so refreshing (there was a bit of this in Let's Go but not as much as there is here). Witnessing events unfold in front of you and having expressions that many of us had whilst playing the first time mirrored in our character was really cool. Considering how stoic your character was in the Sun and Moon games - the world would've been ending and they wouldn't even bat an eye. Hope this sort of thing carries on into the next game, it's such a little thing but it really stands out.
