G'Day MEPO5 Here that sounds awesome mate. Love the sound of the black and green saber! I moved the wheel so it doesn’t get in my way as I’m right handed. If you hold the saber the way you should, having the wheel where it is standard gets in your left hands way being left and low. Just makes it easier to grip and hold your saber :)

Kwinten van Kampen - I can't recall how deep the blade goes, but I have no trouble swinging the heavy blade on it. You could just but mid grade blades as they are pretty light and strong.....
Other than the Initiate sabers, this is the thinnest US hilt in terms of the outer diameter and is very close to what they used in the prequels. It is so much more comfortable. Wattos Junkyard on fb just came out with the Tusken Slayer and it very close to the MR LE saber which is an exact replica of the screen used one. Check it out! :)
Howdy, i just came back here because i remember you mentioning the wheel location change. When I ordered mine, I specified in the order comments, that I am right handed and wanted the covertec wheel set up as such. however, it arrived with the wheel on the default left side still...meaning it sticks into your left palm when holding double handed. Not the worst problem ever...but its kinda disappointing as its not 'quite right'. What do you suggest ? I know sending it back for them to change it is always an option, but im from the UK so it seems like a big deal...sending it across seas for such a thing. Also what happens with the postage cost if you send their items back ? Maybe a good option is to just remove the wheel...however im not sure whats left underneath. is there just a hole ? or is there a screw cap that can be put back in just without the wheel itself. ? (sorry if you dont know this sort of thing xD im just currious as its my first saber) cheers
Keith Beckett hey mate. Yeah that really sucks hey. Such a simple request and it was ignored. Definitely don’t send it back. The other option is for you to remove the wheel, patch the hole and locate it to the other side. You’d have to make sure you don’t have any wires In the way but it’s possible.... risky but possible. Just comes down to how bad you want it fixed. What saber did you order?
Ok... had another thought.... If you email them and ask for a free repair and free return post you should go for it..... I had to send two sabers back for repair and they posted back free.... Just takes time and is a hassle....

I dont think I would bother going to the effort of adding a new hole myself and adding it to the opposite side. I will email them and see what they say anyway. Oh and as for what saber did I order, I ordered a Prophecy V3 Arctic blue Tri Cree, with the default sound. So its no coincidence im watching this specific vid :)

+tb banshee i think green would look pretty cool on that hilt. Make sure you buy a ultra edge blade for green. looks way better than the standard blade. trust me.

Gah I wish the archon v2 wasn't so expensive. I'm about to build my own. Going to start with the empty hilt and slowly build it with the best quality parts over time.
Brian Walsh my left hand sits at the bottom and my right at the top. If you leave it standard (wheel on left) your left hand gets poked by the wheel. Moving it to the right ensures both hands can grab the saber without touching the wheel. Feels much better and allows you have a better grip.
Hi there - I moved it because I use my left hand at the bottom and my right hand at the top. If the wheel stayed on the left my left hand would cover it/make it harder to hold. Moving it to the right would allow it to stay free from my hands and not get in the way given my right hand would sit higher. Makes sense? I hope so :) - All in all, it stays out of my way because I am right handed.
If you're wanting something that light, quick and easy to duel whilst still looking badass - Go the Prophecy V3... I like my Graflex as a show piece, however I don't lilke to duel with it... Too heavy and hard to hold.

thats a good question. having the blade screws tight will do it. if not, try wrapping the bottom the blade with clear tape to thicken it and make it tighter in the hilt. make sense?
That's probably not the best trade-off. I'm sticking to some shade of blue but worried about brightness in person. I may order the exact thing you have in the, actually, and see if I can get my hands on a Vader's Vault Photon Blade. It's supposed to be pretty incredible. Turns a blue diode a sort of green, but quite brilliant and unique. CHeers!
John Carter that’s a tough one mate. I personally don’t like it when it’s off.... but it’s more of the feel having a hole than anything else. Just get one without it?
its actually only the obsidian lite, and stunts that can be powered by 4 AAA's, the others can only be powered with aa's. Most peoople use the lithium ions they come with. And yes, they do go dead fairly quickly. It takes around 4-5 hours for the stunt sabers, and 2-4 for the obsidian lite ones. But you always could opt for the lithiumm ion setups instead.
cool! if you can, it probably best to get ones with the lithium ion setup, thoses are garenteed to lasst alot longer, and it's a significantly smaaler amount of batteries to manage, and charge, if you can, you might want premium v4 sound, but make sure you get the lithium ion steup
and if you get li-ion setup, you will need one of they're chargers, or at least chargers specifically made for li-ion batteries because the standard chargers for most rechargeable batteries will not work :)

Also on an added note: It is not currently possible to have both emerald driver and obsidian soundboard within the Prophecy saber. Unfortunately, you will have to do with either one or the other.

I want to get the Stunt Saber version with the stronger blade. I want to use this saber for Shien/Djem So so I think it would be pretty good

good question. you could buy leather and add leather wraps or fabric pieces to it. i think it would look good with some gold or black on it.
take some sand paper and twist ot wround the hilt. itll give it some weathering

Where did you get your Palpatine and Darth Vader sounds from? Those are great drops and would love to add them to my saber.

Yep, It does appear white in the middle at night time and on camera too. I'd recommend going a heavy grade full contact blade.

Haven't compared them in real life. Some say tri-cree is only 20% brighter...but you lose flash on clash... I love flash on clash...

And yes, they do go dead fairly quickly. It takes around 4-5 hours for the stunt sabers, and 2-4 for the obsidian lite ones. But you always could opt for the lithiumm ion setups instead.
but you could get rechargeble aaa's and mess around with them for a couple hours during the day, and then drop them in the charger overnight

cool! if you can, it probably best to get ones with the lithium ion setup, thoses are garenteed to lasst alot longer, and it's a significantly smaaler amount of batteries to manage, and charge, if you can, you might want premium v4 sound, but make sure you get the lithium ion steup
and if you get li-ion setup, you will need one of they're chargers, or at least chargers specifically made for li-ion batteries because the standard chargers for most rechargeable batteries will not work :)

It is, but you'd have to add the Emerald driver to the saber as well, which costs quite a bit extra.
Absolutely worth it, though.

Also on an added note: It is not currently possible to have both emerald driver and obsidian soundboard within the Prophecy saber. Unfortunately, you will have to do with either one or the other.
