best part about this review/comparison is not having to hear about your feelings and your baby for 8 minutes before you showed us the strollers! learned a lot
So I realize that this was filmed a couple of years ago but as a first time mum just figuring stuff out this was an AWESOME comparison and so incredibly helpful. I'm sure they've tweaked the designs a bit over time but this helped sell me on the Pivot!
I just bought the pivot and I came here to make sure I made the right decision/learn how to use it before it arrives. This video was so helpful and informative. Thank you so much. I’m sharing it with my husband now.
Thank you soooo much for this tutorial. We’ve been trying to figure out how to snap everything in correctly for over 40 minutes until I found your video.
I agree it is a hard choice between the 2 because I like certain features on one that the other does not offer. I really like the fold of the Omni. This was a GREAT video and such a good comparison between the two. I think you did a great job!
I have the new Omni plus and the old version (exactly like the one you have in the video) And the new version is pretty much like the pivot. The frame and folding, the handle, basket. Etc. I do like how the old version folds, and the handle folds. The reason I upgraded from old Omni to new is the basket size!!! It just drove me crazy how small it is. Size wise they are about the same length wheels to wheels , but I think the new version handle is just a tad taller overall also the seat sits a lot higher than the old version. And I use the stroller practically every day. I go for walks with my infant and my 5yr old and sometimes we walk to the grocery store down the street and buy some necessities. But the small basket is just a huge issue. I saw the new version in my local Walmart and had to order it. I just got it today so I have not used it yet. Only 2 cons that might occur. I am under 5 ft and the handle is pretty high for me. Not sure how much of an issue it might be on walks. 2nd is the way it folds seems like it might be a little taller in my trunk and I have a teeny trunk on my sedan, 01 civic. In my truck it won't be an issue. For both strollers I do have to remove the toddler bumper bar before storing in the trunk which both are annoying. Oh yes the old Omni wheels stiffed up a lot. I read online that some oil would work so I would pour just cooking oil on the front wheels every once in a while and it loosened them up.
I noticed he said the omni carseat has less padding then the pivot. other the the basket size this would be my only other concern . I know you mentioned the new version has a bigger basket thats good any thoughts on the carseat padding?
I’ve had both, Omni was horrible and the wheels constantly got jammed. I actually really liked the pivot, it’s a very compact stroller and fit in my sedan super well and was a smooth ride for my baby.
I've read so many reviews complaining about the wheels. I had someone buy me the Omni recently and I have 0 issues with the wheels it's very smooth and easy. I even tried pushing my heavy 5 year old and it did good. I'm thinking maybe they fixed the issue since we bought one of the newer colors
So there are two versions of the Omni plus because I have a different Omni, and it has the same frame as the pivot only the basket it a tiny bit bigger. But it does not have the adjustable handle or the 4 lever fold down thing
Yes I have both the old and new version Omni plus. I just left a comment about the difference because there is almost no difference between the NEW Omni and the Pivot in this video
For anyone looking for this comparaison in 2024, this video is outdated and most of the diffrences do not apply anymore. The Omni plus evolved alot in the recent years and the version in stores right now is very similar to the 2020 Pivot shown in this video. There is still diffrences, but not as major as before.
If the car seat is put on the Pivot's frame rather than the bassinet, does that keep the baby pretty upright like it looks like the car seat would be in the car? Or, is the car seat in the frame able to recline back to hold the baby pretty flat? I like the idea of not having to move the baby from a car seat to a bassinet, but if they're a newborn, I'm unsure if that's OK to do. Like, if you're bringing a newborn into a doctor's office for a visit, is it practical to keep them in the car seat on the frame, or is that not really an option?
We purchased the Pivot. I can't determine the function of the bar that is on the carseat Base of the Pivot? I removed it since I can't find a purpose for it
I just got the pivot stroller today and I am really enjoying it because it is really comfortable and easy to fold and really good for your kids and babys ❤❤
Hello, yes can you please try to put the Urbini stroller seat in the pivot frame? I had the Urbini stroller but my frame broke and I wanted to see if I could just purchase the pivot frame. Thank you
Hello, Great and thorough video. i am a first time parent, is this the latest variant from Evenflo ? so many i see on their portal, i am tilting towards Pivot. please guide
The latching mechanisms of these two systems are different and are not compatible with each-other. You will not be able to mix and match parts, they are totally different
@@ChrisAsipyan are you sure? My Omni plus just broke and they're sending me a pivot as a replacement. The rep assured me that my second litemax car seat (same one that comes with the onni) will fit the pivot stroller. The attaching mechanisms look the same. Confirmation would be great!
@@jessebarath545 Hi Jesse, they have a completely different latching system. However, an adapter is readily available to make them compatible. They are most likely going to send you that adapter with it.
I just watched a different video and the pivot had a clip to keep it upright when folded. It was an older video, 3 years, has the style changed or did you miss it?
I just took another look at it and there is no way to secure it upright since the front wheels swivel and don't lock. However, it can stand up on its own, so long as the front wheels remain straight and balanced.
I just bought the omni. In burgundy color, got it online from Walmart. Waiting on delivery. And we’ll I’m still waiting to give birth some time late nov early dec. I hope my baby loves it. I will be buying extra padding for it though. Just in case
I'm also due in November and considering the Omni. One thing though, you cannot add any after market products to the car seat, like to make it more padded, it would no longer be considered safe. I do like the Omni stroller better, but the Pivot seems to have the better carseat, in terms of looks and padding. hmm 🤔
@@ChrisAsipyan Thank you again. It is so hard to chose because from your review I prefer the Pivot car seat but prefer the Frame and Basinet on the Omni. I already have a comfortable padded car seat that is not a carry one so might go with the Omni because also cheaper.
Curious how you feel about the wheels and the material? I like thr color of the omni more, I also like that you could move the handle like my last stroller but I read people have had issues with the wheels and with the materially being more scratchy
Sorry but I am no longer in possession of these strollers however, if anyone reading this comment has either of these strollers, can you please provide this information?
Thank you. Very helpful video. I am and my husband deciding which stroller and car seat to get as I am 8 months pregnant right now. I have a question: doeas this strollers has Spring Suspension System for shock absorption on the wheels?

Yess same I’m definitely sold on the pivot and it’s almost $200 cheaper ☺️
I'm glad my video has been helpful for so many. Thank you!
I seriously love how much thought this man put into the little details such as the velcro waking the baby. You sir are amazing!

Best comparison video I live the details I couldn’t figure out the bassinet in my evenflo Omni this made it simple
Glad I can help!
Pros and cons of both... I'm trying my luck and going with the omni.
Any feedback about your experience with the Omni?
If the car seat is put on the Pivot's frame rather than the bassinet, does that keep the baby pretty upright like it looks like the car seat would be in the car? Unfortunately, I do not have an answer for you. Hopefully someone reading the comments can provide some insight
We purchased the Pivot. I can't determine the function of the bar that is on the carseat Base of the Pivot? I removed it since I can't find a purpose for it
Okay. After some googling I found that it's an Anti-rebound bar. An additional safety force. Guess I'll put it back on 😅
So I was wondering could you remove it or not?
@@DestinyMuzic The seat is crash tested with the bar and as such it should remain attached to the seat when in use.
It's supposed to be an additional safety thing... But I agree, I have no idea what it's for either
Are both carseats compatible with either stroller? As in can they fit on both
Nope, these two strollers do not use the same clip-in mechanism
Can the pivot fold down with the toddler seat facing parent, or does it need to be removed?
Not all the way unfortunately
My evenflo omni plus looks more like the pivot than the omni plus that you have showing in the video. I’m confused now.
It's been quite some time since I made this video. It might be possible that Evenflo has released newer models since then.
Very nice comparison! I think I might get the pivot. Thanks for the video!
Your welcome
I just got the pivot stroller today and I am really enjoying it because it is really comfortable and easy to fold and really good for your kids and babys ❤❤
Nice! Good to hear
Can you discuss the weight? I went with a maxi cosi because I saw the pivot is nearly 2x the weight despite having much better reviews
Nice, unfortunately I do not have that info, perhaps others can chime in
what a great review. thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Comparing the two, which one is lighter in weight?
They are about the same
Can you put the Urbini seats on the pivot model?
Hello, yes can you please try to put the Urbini stroller seat in the pivot frame? I had the Urbini stroller but my frame broke and I wanted to see if I could just purchase the pivot frame. Thank you
I tried putting the Omni Plus seat onto the Pivot frame and It does not work. They are not compatible

Hello, Great and thorough video. i am a first time parent, is this the latest variant from Evenflo ? so many i see on their portal, i am tilting towards Pivot. please guide
It's been a long while since I made this video, most likely newer models with changes have been released since the making of this video.
Would you be able to fit an Omni car seat on the pivot stroller?
I have the exact same question??
No, they have different latching mechanisms.
Are the bassinets interchangeable? I have the Omni but need the double stroller now just wondering if I’ll have to order a toddler seat.
The attachment system is different between the Pivot and Omni and the parts are not interchangeable between them
This was amazingly helpful! Thank you 🙌🏻
Glad it was helpful!
Can I put the Omni Plus Toddler Seat in the Pivot XPand?👁️👁️
Is the upright position suitable for newborns?
No.. not ok for newborns, only have them in the basinet laying down
Amazing job on this video
Thanks
I'm curious to know if the seats can fit into the other frame.
They do
Thanks to other TH-camrs for providing an answer!
Connecting the carseat to pivot stroller takes awhile to figure out, my only issue so far, it just doesn't click into place easily.
I agree, it does take a little while before becoming proficient and fast at clicking it in.
Can both the carseat and bassinet fixed at same time?
No, these are single strollers only. You can only attach one or the other
Great review! Thank you very much!
Your welcome
I have Omni and love it
Nice!
Out of both strollers. Which one do you recommend if you had the choice
We ultimately went with the Pivot.. I think it was a good choice.
Is the stroller too tall for someone who is 5’3
My wife is 5'4 and it felt comfortable to her
Does the rebound bar on the pivot base come off for leg room in the future?
No
Unfortunately not.
I greatly appreciate this video. Thank you so very much

THANK YOU!!!! SUPER HELPFUL

Not me, hopefully others can respond and provide insight into their experience
Thanks for the video. I think I will go with pivot

Does the pivot lay completely flat?
Yes
Quite a bit flatter than the omni
Are the pivot wheels good for snow? Can you take it to all terrain rides?
Get a jogging stroller if you’re trying to go all terrain
I would use a different stroller for all terrain

I have the omni plus and the model has changed alot looks like they changed the model of it for the better.
Nice, good to know
Thank you so much for all the details. Are the bassinets the same size or is the pivot basinet bigger?
The width and height are similar... The only difference is that the pivot has deeper space down where the legs are
