i first know him(n other Boys Republic members) from The Unit, he was one of the popular kids, too bad he didn't made it as a winner. tbh, he didn't caught my attention on that show since i'm not into popular kids, but Boys Republic did...because i loved Sungjun so much(he's probly my fav male contestant... he's funny, smart, n has great voice...his part in My Story still gets me) n Onejunn totally won me over with how he's the only guy who chose Shinhwa song....n how he was going crazy that nobody chose the legend, as a Shinhwa fan, i approve of his taste that others lacked lol) i was ready to become a fan, sadly they ended after The Unit, just like Melody Day who had one release n ended. when i saw Suwoong's name in this drama i was curious...but reading his character description....i lost interest since he sound like just the bad grumpy one in the group to create conflict n bring negative energy. it's a pity someone who was at a time the star getting a role that sound like he's meant to be hated. since there are a bunch of flashier newer idols. but i guess if he does well, he will get to show his range i mean if the drama even have any focus on him. i'm not watching so idk...some dramas handle minor characters poorly...like they're merely plot device for main characters while some gem level dramas like Misaeng made every littlest minor character a star of their own. idk this drama is which of the category so yeah. this situation reminds me of back then when there were news all over the net of Kevin(ZE:A) was going to be in an idol drama...and after all the buzz his character is just the grumpy mean spirited guy who rarely got screentime....such a pain to watch as his fan. anyway sorry for off topic....i just get excited seeing someone talking bout The Unit n Boys Republic, i do think if Suwoong get casted in a role that sound promising i might give it a try. actually, i wonder what's up with other Boys Republic members too.
