now that i've seen both GD and ateez live, i have to say. hongjoong gives me the exact same vibes as GD. ateez's stage presence over all is incredible, but there's that absolute ease that hongjoong just commands the stage that is so similar to GD. you can't take your eyes off of him. they really are the 4th gen kings.
I have thought this for ages! Even before Hongjoong spoke about who his strongest influences are, it's been incredibly obvious from day one, he must have spent a lot of time internalizing GD's swag lol. To marvellous effect!

Ateez and Stray Kids I have to say are to me those who will conquer the world.... I know this video is about Ateez but I feel like both groups are similar in certain ways and both to me are what makes the 4th generation exciting. Tbh I feel like it is harder to be on the top these days since new groups are coming and are made like crazy. Way different than back in the day...so thats why I feel like these 2 groups are different from others and thats why they I rising like crazy and its totally deserved
Well truth be told there are actually 3 groups I would say are kings of 4th gen and they are ATEEZ, The Boyz and Stray Kids. Compared to all of 4th gen boy groups, they definitely take and share that title. Believe me I'm a MASSIVE kpop fan. I listen to literally ALL kpop groups. Since 2013

Watching this made me realize that this group is saving 4th gen. Like people say that no one can cover YG songs perfectly like YG artists , but ATEEZ is like one of those few groups which can prove this wrong. The stage presence they have is the best among 4th gen

Fantastic Baby was released at 2012, and 10 years later, ATEEZ cover this song. Watching other participants hype and sing to this song is a prove that the song itself is immortal. I miss Big Bang even more. ATEEZ did incredible!!!

Every time I look at them, I can tell that they are the best. There is no competitor for this team. No matter how we say they move in coordination, their facial expressions are the killer. I love looking at the crazy facial expressions they have. It makes me realize how serious they are in doing that. How long will everyone look? To them, are you serious? They're crazy boys. Penetrating my heart alone is enough to kill me. From the idiot who talked about their theater being filled with frightening energy, it's full of strength and passion.

A FEW THINGS:
-hongjoong's high tone rapping is amazing, definitely emulated iconic g-dragon beautifully. he looked like he was having SO much fun on stage, and i absolutely love that.
-seonghwa rap line confirmed??? we should never forget this boy started out with DANCE first. his dancing and performing has improved so much in this last year. he's confident and i love seeing that on stage.
-yunho had incredibly live vocals! he's always so stable when singing live and dancing intense choreos! he clearly had so much fun on stage since he was smiling so much!
-yeosang's deep singing is something I'm very grateful they're showcasing. it meshes so well with the higher pitched voices and creates an incredibly dynamic and textured performance.
-san has really, really proved himself to be one of the best performers in 4th gen kpop. he didn't have as much screen time as i would have liked, but he killed every single second with his expression, vocals, and dancing.
-mingi!!!! his entrance was absurdly iconic! and I'm so so so glad they gave him that moment. that deep, melodic rapping is something he does VERY well and i really hope we get more songs with that from him. he looked iconic, and that serious expression the entire performance is devastatingly charming. especially knowing how playful he is offstage. i loved the special attention he got after missing their last stage.
-wooyoung's vocals have always been amazing, but i definitely sense some improvement in this live stage. he sounds way more stable. also that playful smile of his KILLS me. he's such a flirt on stage.
-jongho! our precious baby bear. our reliable maknae. his dancing has been shown off so much!!! and his vocals are as steady and as beautiful as always. he really shines and the last scene is so cute. he's so charming and handsome!

I'm pretty sure Seonghwa was going to debut as a rapper but switched to vocalist. Mine you I could be very wrong but based on what I heard he has rapped before.
@@TiaMayberry seonghwa was initially a dancer first, and then auditioned with rap, but debuted as a vocalist. they've really been playing with his voice and rapping during mingi's absence, and now that he's back and they're still having him rap, I'm hoping he'll be able to hold a title as part of the rap line! he certainly deserves it. that low, deep voice is amazing.

i just wiki-ed this show and found out that ateez has won on this show THREE TIMES, which is actually very hard for kpop idol to achieve. we can see many winners are either soloists, trot singers, etc but rarely kpop idols. even being able to perform many times on this stage alone is very ADMIRABLE!!! ATEEZ is honestly my favorite 4th gen kpop group right now 🥰 Their performance abilities are amazing and they prefer to sing live and they do it very well. I highly recommend checking out their other immortal songs appearances :) They’ve won a lot of times there which just shows how full of talent each member has and brings to the team 🧡
