- A video compilation of shots taken from from 2013 to 2020, in Autumnal settings only, ranging from mid September to Early November. Scenes are majority focused on the changing colours of Autumn, so all the colours that you would expect to see are featured. Videos are shot across a handful of preserved railways and the national network.
I hope you the Autumnal action !
With thanks to the Mid Hants Railway, Severn Valley Railway, North Yorkshire Moors Railway & The East Lancashire Railway.
This is truly the most beautiful thing i have ever seen in my entire life
Stunning ... well thought out ... two months left of 2021 and your still tops of the steam videos IMO ... Thank you for all the enjoyment
Cheers Nick, thanks very much, glad you enjoyed the Autumnal video.
Superb collection. Especially enjoyed the distant shot of Bahamas in the sunshine.
Great video! Powerful engine! Very beautiful landscape too!
What a gorgeous compilation from your archives. The theme is just perfect for publication at this time of year. Great work. Thank you for sharing.
Absolutely stunning 💞😻 many thanks 😊 for sharing 😌
A glorious mix, beautifully produced. Half an hour of absolute enjoyment. Thank you very much!
A fantastic compilation plus all the glorious colours of Autumn well done .
Superb, pictures, sound, locations and subjects.
A stunning film. Really enjoyed it. Thanks! All the best, Oliver
Thanks for so beautiful filming and music!
Lovely photography very atmospheric.
Mallard is a legend. Happy to see that he’s still puffing along
That is actually Bittern which looks very similar. Mallard is in the National Railway Museum and will probably never run again.

Just look at that scene.
Absolutely stunning video.
That frosty low sunlight shot is sublime
Stunning colour, such an amazing video.
Lovely vid. Some fantastic shots in there
Cheers Kev, hope you're well.
Nice colourful mix.
7812 at 30:21 onwards. If that doesn't stir the soul of someone then nothing will. Fabulous.
Yep, the peace and quiet of the Severn Valley was well and truly disturbed, much welcomed too !
Excellent video
These machines are magical.
Let’s hope Bittern comes back soon! I know she’s waiting for her second major overhaul in preservation let’s hope she gets her turn in the shop soon!
Fantastic 👍👍👍
Fantastic! Thank you for sharing.
The Late Keith Moon certainly gave us a spot-on musical picture of a British steam engine in "A Quick One While he's Away".
0:32 great to see semaphore signalling still in existence to this day!!!. In india, very few places like interior Gujarat/Rajasthan, and in Chhattisgarh we have semaphore signalling, not to forget parts of Punjab… of course Pakistan has a lot of semaphore signals too. Such a sight to see semaphores and it’s so nice!!!..
I love steam trains, I wish I could ride one 😊
Wonderful video :)
A very nice video 👍
Fantastic
Thank you so much 😀, as always
The engine passing by at 3:18 isn't a 9F. It's a standard class 7, No 70013 "Oliver Cromwell"
The Earle of Mount Edgecumb shot at Whitacre Junction has got to be one of the greatest ever steam shots. I think this shot used to have its own personal video here on you tube ?
Not sure about the greatest but its one my favourite scenes. Yes, there was video for it, from way back in 2013 ! Thanks for your kind opinion.
WOW!!
Nice video. Likes

We need to bring these back but instead of burning coal they run on electricity
My favourite 16:30
What do the British steam locomotives use for fuel? They don't belch copious amounts of black smoke like the North American engines do.
Strictly coal. For now !
I thought it was coal all right, with perhaps something to enhance the combustion. @@MarshSteamVideosTM
😎😎👍
This video contains not trains but trucks pulling passenger cars
Could be better😂
