Florian, I met my match today watching you play. I don't read music and I play the organ/piano at the same level as you. I use to play in lounges years ago. I will work at making a video. My father brought a piano home when I was about 10 yrs old. Somebody gave it to him or he won it playing polka. In a few months I was playing Alley Cat, Boogie Woogie,etc. They made me play for everybody. Word got around about this little kid who could play the piano and they enjoyed showing me off. I believe it's a Gift From God. Something in our genes.

At this troubled time it is such a comfort to play the piano
I bought a violin for $2000.00 and I took lessons for one year. $45.00 every Wednesday and my job(Ultrasound Tech) became too demanding so I stopped the lessons. I want too much in life and it leaves me with a lot of anxiety.

Thanks Larry, yes of course, there are many possibilities to also play that style although I’m obviously mainly using the drawbars, because this is the sound that is unique to that organ, but i will also do some more of this stuff, too 👍

Das ist mal wieder mindestens "allererste Sahne", Florian - "Misty" ( von Errol Garner) zählt ja für mich immer noch zu den schönsten Titeln aus der
jazzigen Standard Evergreen Rubrik ( "As time goes by" ist natürlich auch ein schöner Titel ); den Anfang von Misty hast Du klanglich mal ganz anders, aber sehr ansprechend, registriert und stilistisch schön interpretiert 😍. Ich bin, für meinen Teil, froh, dass Du nicht vor 40 Jahren gelebt hast, sonst hätten wir heute gar keinen jungen Organisten an der Wersi Orgel 🤔 ... v G 🙋‍♂️🎹🎼🎵🐶 Dietmar

Vielen Dank, Martin! Das kommt darauf an, was du genau suchst. Die CD Soft Card ist eigentlich ein sehr guter Anfang, um einige typischen Klaus Wunderlich Sounds und Presets zu haben. Natürlich habe ich noch sehr viel selbst gemacht und auch fast alle Rhythmen, die ich nutze selbst erstellt, aber das ist natürlich eine jahrelange Arbeit gewesen. LG Florian

May I give you a little advise? I would play the strings solo one octave higher (they can do that in real) and the solo with the saxophones reduce to only 2 octaves. A sax has only a range of 2,5 octaves and can’t play so high as you did. Sorry for my positive mented reaction and keep up playing as you do 👌🏻

I bought a beautiful Hammond B3 with a large leslie speaker. I was 22 years old at the time. I loved that organ and I only wish I had put it in storage when I moved to NYC. Joe Bucci who was a well known jazz organist heard me playing in a piano & organ store and offered to give me free lessons. So did IRA Bates who was world famous at the pipe organ. I was young and stupid to not to have studied with either one. I enjoy listening to Florian Hutter play. He's very good. The look on his face when he's playing tells how much he loves to play
After watching him play on youtube I always go right to the piano and play fow a while. Thank you Florian.

Love this! "Misty" was the first song I learned to play on the piano......as a kid. Later in life I had a Hammond organ for several years.......and that just enhanced "Misty" in so many ways. The sound is magical to me, and I thank you for your performance videos. Always puts me in a calm and good mood!

Hallo Matthias, also es ist so, dass ich bei den Allermeisten der neueren Videos die Titel größtenteils improvisiert habe. Allerdings habe ich auch Titel oder (meistens sehr lange) Medleys wie zum Beispiel ABBA oder Beatles aus den Anfängen dieses Kanals hier, die ich auch heute noch spiele und bei denen mich auch an einen festen Ablauf halte bzw ohnehin auch die Drums dann genau dafür selbst programmiert habe. Das habe ich jetzt nur auf TH-cam länger nicht gemacht, weil ich denke, dass viele Zuhörer vielleicht eher einen bestimmten Titel suchen und sich nicht unbedingt 20 min am Stück anhören möchten. Aber vielleicht kommt auch zu einem passenden Zeitpunkt mal wieder ein großes Medley mit festgelegtem Arrangement 😉👍
