    Hi, can I transpose the whole keyboard e.g half step down to play a C note to sound a B or the function is just to use with sequencer?.

    How does the cv work? Only played notes or can it be used to pass MIDI in notes to the cv out? Also, can you change the modout to velocity instead of modwheel data?

    Also note while the original Keystep worked with 9V 0.5A and could be powered from a pedal board, the Keystep 37 requires 12V and 1.5A. That's quite a bummer 🙁

    Great video! I’m new to MIDI keyboards. Using my iPad Pro and audio interface, can this keyboard act as a regular keyboard without using the sequencer and arp? Seems really powerful!

    Still waiting on Arturia to implement the chord and strum mode into the KSP. weird that the more expensive model doesnt have the same features

    Would this controller be able to output the midi from the sequencer or the strummer, or the arpeggiator to a DAW?
    So, the midi out would be connected to a synth, and then the synth audio outputs would be connected to the audio interface, right? So then you couldn't record the midi, just the audio.

      You can record both the midi and audio in your DAW.

      @@PatchwerksSeattle old comment but…could you elaborate on that? It seems to me that when you select a chord type, that same chord type will transpose with each key press. I can’t see how you can make each key press, a different chord type?

    There is a thin transparent film on the black panel with 4 knobs. There are a lot of air bubbles underneath it. Does it need to be removed?

      Or from a synthesizer or other sound source. This is 100% just a midi controller. It makes no noises on it's own.

      Still don't understand why they keep coming up with new USB and ...connector HOLES types, years after years...
      USB A, B, C, USB B mini, Thunderbolt, DisplayPort, MiniDisplay Port, HDMI, Micro HDMI...
      I mean, come on, people, just change the speed of the PORT, HUB, HOST...
      those MB transfer ratios per second, as tech improves with time, BUT let the cable BE A CABLE.
      A cable with a SINGLE TYPE OF HEAD that PLUGS into something.
      Are there like people in a company who have this trademarks or patents or something,
      that need to come up with new types of cables and port, to maintain some cashflow...?
      I do not get it.
